Your such an enabler Sherrie! Thanks for the entertainment! I actually watched this whilst my husband was out and kids were in bed on Saturday night. It was lovely to have a bit of me time ❤
I’m so happy to have found your channel today. I really enjoyed seeing all your beautiful stitchery and listening to you while I work on a Christmas gift ❤🎅🏼❤️
Wonderful video, Sherrie! The Rudolph story has now forever changed that song 😂!! Wonderful! Beautiful finishing and love your WIPSs 😊happy stitching! 🧵 💕🪡😊
The Rudolph and Olive story was so funny and cute. Great job on your FFOs! Love your WIPs. Great video as always. Have a great holiday season! Take care and happy stitching.
You have some impressive pieces as whips and up and coming. Have a wonderful Christmas unwrapping all of your parcels and the very happiest of stitching to you 🤗
I’ve got seasons of the heart to stitch 😊. Love the snowman ⛄️ earrings ❤. I want 24 finishes for 24, but I’m also doing sheep virtues which are small so hopefully possible. Take care lovely 😊
Great plans Sherrie! You could use your Thistle Crown piece to join up with Amanda Alba Stitcher’s Scottish themed SAL next year too. Have a good couple of weeks!
Thanks for video and sharing your stitching Loved the Rudolph and olive story _ and I love your choices of24 - especially the monthly quakers - I may have to go buy them all merry Christmas and happy stitching
Another great video! 2024 is going to be a busy stitching year for you! Love your plans! I am sorry I missed you at the Jimgle Ball. Maybe we will land up at the same table next year!
Hi Sherrie. I have made quite a few Watbo. I made them as scissor fobs and also for tree ornaments to gifts at Christmas. I have a kit for a hedgehog one to do as a scissor fob for the end of January. Lovely stitching. ❤
As soon as you started your story I knew exactly where it was going. Our dog is named Olive. Olive the other Reindeer. When I met my husband he always says "all of" she is over there. Too funny.
Happy Holidays from Colorado! Loved seeing all your winter WIPs. Love the fabric choice on your glad tidings piece...you are going to love that framed!! Glad you are switching fabrics for your stitching stocking..it will be beautiful. Hope you find the beads for your crystal snowflake! The calendar piece is coming a!ong great. Hope you enjoy some peace, joy and Christmas treats this season! Just keep stitching!
We used to sing the hymn 'Brightest and Best of the Sons of the Morning' at my Yorkshire village school when I was little - yes I'm older than you😂! I haven't heard it for years so thanks for the memories. I must look it up. I got my Book of Days from 123 Stitch recently as I want to record the embroidery I intend doing more of in 2024. My Cross Stitch Journal begun in January only had new starts in (few yet finished!) as I still have so many WIPs so plenty of room but doesn't show all the quilting I did and gifts I made. Lots of plans for 2024😊
Love all your plans Sherrie! And it was lovely to meet you at the stitchers meet yesterday…even if you didn’t get any of your stitching done! Will you squeezing the BBD Eleanor Rigby into your plans somewhere? I was on a roll yesterday and also finished Octopus’s Garden last night! That’s 3 of the Beatles series done now. Have a lovely Christmas 🎄 ❤
The reindeer does look quite like a dog with antlers. Cute either way! I'dike to stitch March Quaker with you for your birthday! I have them all but just stitched one so far...
Oh Sherrie! You are living the quote at the end of your video.❤ Just look at the numbers of followers you have. You are a breath of fresh air. ….. About your new start that isn’t working. It is all about “value” -- you know, light or medium or dark. The floss and your background fabric are both medium in value. That is why they blend together. As you have already figured out, for that floss to show up it needs either a much lighter or a much darker linen background. Love your videos, Your Christmas plans sound perfect!❤
It would be lovely if you started Nightingale for your birthday, as it really is a gorgeous design and I have not seen it often stitched here on flosstube. I also loved those motnhly quakers, maybe you could do a video after the 12 by 12 to see them all again. I am Romanian and Eastern European folk motifs are very different from the Celtic ones, yet I do love all Celtic motifs, so I suppose they are generally mesmerizing.
Sherrie, i don’t think you have to unpick your border on the biscornu. If you just stitch the same again but in between the other stitches, you should get the same effect. Biscornu’s are not difficult, you just have to know where to start….in the middle of your straight line start with the corner of the other half. It will make sense once you start. Good luck!
@@justsewsherrie wooohoooo you enabled me for the enchanted quaker, I’m doing the monthly Quakers too I’ve asked for a feb-April for Christmas already got jan as an early Christmas present 😁
Hi Sherrie great video, lovely stitching projects, charts, and haul, your mottled blue fabric with the variegated thread needs a darker solid colour, not variegated, just my opinion,Merry Christmas Thanks for sharing 🎄🪡🇳🇿❤️
Hi Sherrie, as soon as you said what you had stitched i shouted Royal flush. You had me wetting me pants when yo were talking about your daughter when she was little. You cheered me up in a miserable day. I think your plans make sense and i think you'll smash them😃. I got the Nightingale Mira but I've made my plans of working on four full coverage two of which i will start throughout Dec. One for me son on the 15th See No Evil and one for my daughter on Christmas day Steampunk Tiger both by Charting Creations. Enjoy your Christmas opening your advent presents. Take care and stay safe🤗
Love it that you stitch such a variety of things. And that you get such wonderful presents! You deserve them! By the way, what is the name of the pattern where you are stitching a square at a time? It's really beautiful. It really does make one's head swirl --12 in 12, 24 in 24, 50 for 50! I will just do one at a time, thanks!
OMG I keep kicking myself that I haven't yet gone to the Jingle Ball... both years its been the worst weekend for me and I never get to go. I am not really a prolific stitcher (maybe that's why i'm not gaining any interest in my channel) and I haven't really even STARTED Christmas stitching... For PDFs i have started tracking them in Notion because otherwise I buy them over again LOL
Help. I am currently contemplating switching from 16 count Aida to Evenweave or linen. What would you consider to be the easiest one to start with. Thanks a million. Sue
Hi Sue, my first project after Aida was a 28 count evenweave. I used this until I was used to stitching over 2 threads so that when I tried linen it was just the fabric that was new rather than counting the holes as well as it isn’t as uniformed in appearance. I think all 3 give beautiful results though. Just try to relax and enjoy it whatever you choose 😍
Will be 50 in April next year as well... I do NOT think I can start 50 projects, I just started having more than 1 and i'm conpletely overwhelmed already LOL... There are a lot of us going on 50...
Great video as always! Re your JBW stocking with silver/gray thread you want to restart.......have you considered red fabric? Just a thought which came straight to mind when watching 😊
Love the story about Rudolf lol. My baby is only 3, so we’re still making those fun memories/stories that I’ll be able to tell later lol. I was wondering, is the Christmas tree on your shelf behind you a stitch? If it is, would you mind sharing what pattern it is? Thank you! 😊
Well girl, you definitely don’t look 50! Lord I would have to do 67 or 68 hmm my birthday is new yrs eve so if like my hubby he will say new yrs day wow you’re going to be 68 this yr. He did that on my 24th argh now it’s hey hope so. Lol haven’t seen Christmas parade and I love their patterns am doing 3 now and have 3 more. Might be adding an extra! Hmm. Hmm christmas day start, birthday start, new yr never thought of any of them.lol good idea on advent calendar. I don’t get-much either but that’s okay I have plenty and our kids will and my husband but if we see something we will get it and put under the tree.
Thank you. Beautiful stitching as always,
Thanks Jane ☺️

I loved meeting you in the stitching lounge on both Saturday and Sunday at the jingle ball.
Aw thank you so much. I had a great time ☺️
Love all you do. On your new start, the fabric is fabulous, it just needs a much lighter floss color. ❤
Thanks so much ☺️
