- My favorite purchase of 2021 - Boss Waza Air. A great sounding headphone amplifier for guitar. Check out this review of these Boss Waza Air after using them for 8 months or so.

I have both waza air and fender mustang micro running through krk cans. The mustang is great...but nothing on the waza air's. The mustang doesn't great through a les Paul imo, but great on my strat. The waza is crisp, clear, surround and studio works great.
The main difference is backing tracks. The mustangs sound like karaoke and playing over the top, the waza air sounds like your part of the band. Very clever headset, wish they had usb-c tho.

I don’t wanna use the built in waza amp or effects. Can I use this directly from the output of my main amp or effects board? Thx!

Does headphones battery really lasts for 5hrs of playing? Me and my friend both agree that it's about 2-3hrs.
Do these sound like the typical headphone amps? Like the mustang micro? I don’t really like the sound of guitar through headphones and have seen some reviews and didn’t want to drop the money unless it sounds better than typical headphone amps…
They sound a lot better. You dont think thyre headphone amps while playing. Great tones.
I see a THR on your desk too. What do you use more - boss waza or THR? Do you hear sound difference?
Waza air because its completely silent. Both sound great
Boss spent do much time on gyroscope feature, but they did not make a possibility for recording...
yeah too bad. that gyrothingy is pretty much useless lmao.
@@Gaslight.Guitar I think, that actually the recording feature would boom the sales of wasa air - people would put their recordings online. Instead, many wasa air reviews start with "you can't hear this, but..."
Not being able to record from the WAZA headphones is a total dealbreaker for me.
I don’t understand why Boss didn’t include the ability to record out from these headphones, a line-out to run to a mixer or plug into a tablet or a smartphone would have been an absolute game changer !!!!

I cant get a decent metal sound at all? Tried with 5 different axes. The reverb will not go away unless the gyro is turned completely off.
Also finding any videos with actual programming and settings is almost impossible. I been outta the game for almost 20 years and alot has changed since 2006 as far as guitar playing goes.
The Gryo is terrible. Drifts all over. Boss's response-drift is usally bescause the user is moving their head around- REALLY! I thought that was the point. Anyone else experience this issue?
No USB C.... in 2022?
Theyre available since 2021 I believe. ;) USB only for charging so I dont care tbh
