Yeah and the cause is Kevin Penkin otherwise ToG's soundtracks would be just like a normal animes ost, comparable to GoHS's themes. Of course not saying that there aren't good composers. e.g. like Re:zeros etc.
I think Penkin mentioned in an interview how he wanted Shinsu to “flow like water”? Well this *ABSOLUTELY* checks that box. What could be more perfect for a theme for a such a complex and mystical power as this? A placid element, Shinsu lingers in the air, being constantly breathed and keeping the residents of the tower alive, as shown with the first half of the piece, where it ambiently fluctuates in the background, mysterious vocals representing its ancient and mystical power. But the same Shinsu that is used to keep the Regulars alive... is what they use to kill. The latter portion of the song after the beat drop represents how even though it does flow elegantly like water, Shinsu can truly be used as a force of chaos. The regulars use it as a weapon in combat situations, bending it into different forms and shapes to their pleasing. But it still remains the same substance with the same origin, as do the ambient vocals in the piece. They are present in both halves, tying everything back to how dynamic a substance Shinsu is and how it can grant one life... and also death. (I’m also just a total sucker for vocal ost so I loved this the moment I heard it in the show.) Love this piece! Kevin Penkin and feeding|ear, delivering once more.

Okay this is not soundtrack related but I just realized that Yu Hansung is literally one of the most important tower of god character next to Rachel. Without this coffee maniac, the whole story will be different starting season 1. We wouldn't have Jue Viole Grace's story. 😳

And also when he's data asked khun eduhn for help in the hiddin floor he said "Jahad on the outside has turned his back on loyalty and justice and rulling the world as the king of the tower, god will send a disciple to punish Jahad for that and he will cause a stir in tis tower, i didnt make this up its a Fate tied up by arlen" i mean how his data knows about the god of the outside world and knows about arlen Prophecy and V, he is just a regular and people in the tower dont know this stuff!
I don’t care what anyone says, for the 13 episodes permitted for the first season of this VAST story, they did a DAMN good job. So well directed. And the anime onlys have a good enough idea of what’s going on. Hopefully the ratings are high enough that they can justify extra funding for more episodes in S2.

“Well directed” complete lie you don’t tell a vast story by rushing scenes and character moments. They even charged the tag game to where people got confused on the rules. Also they lied about crunchyroll ever saying it was getting a season 2.

Your work elevated to another level what was already perfect, the animation of the Manhwa. Not exaggerating when i say that i fell in love with ToG since the first episode because of the incredible atmosphere the music created with the amazing story.

Drum and bass is one of my favourite genres, and i was very fortunate to play in a live band with Shockone (also a Perth artist, and who used to play with Pendulums old band).
Kevin, seriously I hope you're proud of this ost. It's easily one of my favorite OSTs ever. You just got the mood so well. When I read the webtoon, I have your music playing in my head. If I had a billion dollars, I'd make sure my fam was straight and then I would finish tower of god with you, feeding ear and friends completing the music for this journey. I seriously cannot give it enough praise. This series would not be the same without you and the art design/animation team elevating Slave in Utero's already epic story. I hope it gets finished one day. It would be a huge let down if they don't ever bother to finish it.
