If you watch closely, right before he looks at the camera he looks up at the sky. Like he’s looking to Erik after looking at Simon because they’re the two people who wanted him to be himself and nothing else.

I feel like August buying Rousseau for Sara really just proves how much he doesn't understand her and her situation. Like how the hell would she afford to take care of a horse?? She couldn't even afford a chocolate at the school Cafe.

yeaaaahhh marcus be GASLIGHTING. like he needs to get a grip lol. also i think that it really hit wille that keeping it a secret wasn't worth it when simon told him he would settle for that. he loves simon too much and you don't do that to people you love (make them settle). i think that's why he came out to everyone.
i really love the way u also see simons perspective in the situation. when s2 first came out last year a lotttt of people switched up on simon and started painting him as the bad guy in the situation, almost as if theyd completely forgotten what wilhelm did to him in s1, so i love that u didnt do that and had empathy for him (and for wilhelm ofc) i love both of them and i hope to see your reactions to s3 when the season comes out! have a nice day

As much as Sara's actions upset me, I think that they made her character really well, showing what it can be like for people with certain illnesses like ADHD and Asbergers to read social queues and make good decisions. I also think that she had been bullied and not been shown any interest from boys, so when August kissed her and showed interest, it went to her head and nothing else mattered for a while. I don't know, I don't hate her, even though almost every decision she has made so far has been the wrong one, haha!
I 100% agree with you, I feel like people don’t understand her perspective. Even though she doesn’t always make the best decisions, she’s trying to do the right thing

Felice is the Real G . She allowed Fredricka and Stella to think that she was mad at Sara because of August it's like she was saying to Sara 'This is what loyalty looks like’ …. ‘ this is what being a friend looks like”
In all fairness, the Queen is a mother striving to do her best. One, her actions are not solely driven by her own desires but are also influenced by the royal court. Two, Willie, at 16, is impulsive, and the Queen, like any concerned parent, is working to shield him from potential pitfalls.
As we all know, the person we are at 16 is not the same as the person we become later in life. The Queen is navigating the delicate balance of protecting Willie while allowing him the space to grow. Admittedly, her approach may not always be the best or the right one, but as adults, we often think we know what's best for our children and attempt to steer them away from relationships we perceive as potentially harmful-whether it's with someone wealthy, poor, rebellious, or promiscuous. I am sure there is someone or “someones” our parents tried to protect us from … some of them are doing well and for some, our parents were right on the money.
BTW The Queen and Jan-Olaf both hold a strong aversion towards August the Queen told him so and Jan-Olaf's dismissive attitude is palpable. I think they hoped that Willie would find his way without them resorting to drastic measures i.e. August. August was just an unwitting pawn and sadly the only other viable relative.
I think Jan - Olaf , like Malin actually had a soft spot for Willie he just had to look at the bigger picture .

I think that Wilhelm got the worse end of the stick. Having your sibling die tops beeing in a sexvideo. Wilhelm was also in the video and had been exposed by his relative. Wilhelms mistake was not telling Simon before the interview that he would deny beeing in the video. But him confessing would have made it harder on Simon since it would get so much more publicity since it would have been a prince shown in the video with simon. I think we will see what all the added stress from media will be shown in season 3, now that Wilhelm acctually did confess to the world that it was him in the video. I love the ending of season 2 and hope for a Wilmon ending 💜💙. Please react to the teaser of season 3 that netflix has droped 🙏🏻.

I don't think August is manipulative. He bought that horse before their was any issues, he truly just liked Sarah. I get people hate August, but the guy is pretty genuine overall.
I understand that Felice didn’t have a say about selling Rousseau, but I do feel bad for Sara about the one thing she really loved and cared for being sold. She had a deep connection with the horse.
But I also was so frustrated because Sara made so many bad decisions regarding August.

I don’t know about the law in Sweden but what August did would be considered a criminal charge rather than a civil charge, so technically wouldn’t it be state v August since it’s considered child pornography and distribution? I think everyone else would be called up as witnesses but they wouldn’t need any lawyers so to speak just because they’re the ones reporting it or the ones affected. I might be wrong though, this comes with a lot of assumptions about the law in Sweden on my part
I don't know if you knew but Sarah's character is Asperger's, and something that characterizes Asperger's people is that they have difficult and complicated friendship and love relationships.
They want to do well but they don't know how to relate to people.They are very concrete and sometimes they do not understand things like friendship codes or other abstract things.

The timing of the horse wasn’t good. It just looks like he’s buying her off. But if it had been earlier it would’ve been considered sweet. 26:09
I agree. When he made the decision it wasn't to buy her off bc at that time he had no reason to do that, he genuinely liked Sara bc he showed parts of himself that he otherwise repressed. When she came to him sobbing bc of the horse, there was no thoughts in his expression besides just comforting her.
August's character is so frustrating to me bc he's made such inhumane and disgusting decisions, but at the same time these are clearly symptoms of his very obvious mental illnesses, and realizing that no one ever took the chance to sit down and talk to him about it (besides Sara, whom he lost for yet again making terrible decisions), is heartbreaking. Ppl knew his dad killed himself, that he had drug abuse issues, he didn't freakin "eat carbs," etc -- but they just let him make worse and worse decisions. Not even what was left of his family thought he might've needed therapy before he hurt those around him. At the scene in S1, you could see he never let himself be alone, he never let himself be himself for even a second bc his head would get too loud and he felt like he needed drugs. If my kid lost their parent due to suicide, therapy for at least a decade would become the priority. Suicide as a death is very different to many other deaths, especially bc he went from having everything to having nothing -- which is the childhood recipe for narcissistic personality disorder.
Not to mention, the fact that he didn't sell the painting for his tuition (which he wanted in order to preserve his dad's legacy), but sold it to get Sara a horse, shows a lot.

They think everyone hates them so they overcompensate by trying to be extremely likeable and fit in the best possible, then they realize ppl sometimes see through it anyway so they end up being full-on dickheads, then someone shows them love and they realize that maybe someone doesn't actually hate them, but then they feel like that person is about to leave and then they explode which makes the person leave and makes them feel like everyone REALLY does hate them, which finally leads to uncontrolled explosive behaviour, until they get therapy to stop seeing the world as black & white. Speaking as someone who has a narcissistic mom.
