Alexey Kochetkov a.k.a. Aoki - Blizzcon 2018 Costume contest "Large Fabrication" cathegory Winner.
This is our version of Death Knight Arthas with Ice Guitar inspired by Frozen Throne ending credits. Lich King helmet and Frostmourne were shown on our older videos.

1. Where is Helm of Damnation?
A: Only Lich King wears it. We have strong nostalgia feelings to Warcraft 3 and cinic Death Knight Arthas is the best version of Arthas to us. However, we had a Helmet, not perfect tho, and featured it a lot in older videos and photoshoots in 2016.
2. Where is Frostmourne?
A: We had even two of them to be honest, they were also featured a lot in photoshoots. But after 2 years of carrying it we wanted a change.
3. A guitar? Why?
A: It is reference to Frozen Throne ending credits 3:33 . We thought it could be unexpected and funny addition to the costume and it worked at Blizzcon 2018 costume contest.
4. Why you didn't use full chainmail?
A: from 2016 to 2018 we traveled a lot with this costume and limit of baggage was very strict. Redused chainmail saved us lots of extra kilograms. But we still had to open the suitcase with it at every single checkpoint, haha.

Every things is great except for the hair and face.
The face needs more detail
The hair is like a woman’s wig which might not be a problem if you like make it rough bc he is undead
Citizens of Lordaeron seeing their beloved prince return from Northrend in this armor:
"Nice gear. I'm sure he means well. So happy that he's back."
He ninjaed all that.
I'm sure many of them were thinking that, but then quickly went, "he's just going through a edge lord phase"
"Guess puberty hit him hard huh?"
Suddenly they see him arguing with Jaina and Uther... they both leave and he walks towards them with his Mace in hand.
"Wait... That's Death Knight gear! Did Arthas reroll?"
"Lord Arthas, they're attacking our Citadel!"
"Very well, I'll just throw on my armor and I'll be right out there."
*(1 hour later)*
"My lord, they're almost to your throne room!"
"WHAT!? I only just finished suiting up!"
well, it sure takes some time to get to throne room through all other bosses in ICC lol
i mean that was how long it took to suit up in armor in real life tbf--with help
now i respect arthas even more because everytime he had to poop he had to unpack himself for 4 minutes

Yeah I've worn cosplays about half as intricate as that. Spending a whole minute disrobing inside a toilet stall is not fun, neither stashing a pile of costume almost as big as yourself on the floor in a toilet stall. Then having to put it all back on when you are done.

@ronnie cliburn I dont care for WoW. I wanna see death knight Arthas who was a genious, unlike when he was LK and basically plotted his own death. I also hate how the retconned him into a victim.

@@zazi5305 no. He betrayed his warriors and lied on his own. He killed on his own. Power of frostmourne appealed to him. He was in a lot of control regarding his actions. He had autonomy. He was a badass villain. He protected his undead soldiers. He befriended Kelthuzad. All that was ruined by few saltu nerds who turned him into a complete victim. I mean, sure, he was on the bad end ss all villains are bit this split personality shot always geys overused, like good side bad side. Its a cliche and unoriginal, it devalues his character. Now that they proclaimed he was 100% controlled I cant even tKe the character seriously. He went from most developed and changed characyers just another radnom victim.

Видосу почти 2 года, а я узнал о нем только сейчас ( как так? ). Однозначно лайк, подписка, комменты. Грим после ( а не до )одевания костюма немного смутил ( хотя от перестановки мест слагаемых ). Отличная детализация костюма.

THIS IS SOOOOO BADASS!!!! Arthas is the most badass evil character of all time! You can't help but love the guy and his story! Great job on the cosplay, i'm sure it's more than 250 hours of work if not more getting to this level

I stopped playing not only it was too much for me to maintain the subscription but also I didnt like where the next expansion went.
All the changes to talent trees and other things. It was dumbing down the game which wasnt hard at all in the first place.
So it was time for me to leave...and leave behind the good memories of yesterday :)
