@@Prodigal450 Focusing on just crit with no crit dmg is bad, as is focusing on crit dmg with no crit, you want a balance. Baal's one of the harder characters to build. She gets no crit ascension and her two most common weapons (EL, the catch) don't give crit outside of the 12 from catch. It's hard to get her ratio good, I'd say getting to Mogas 50/100 is already decent.

8:15 you dont need 3 ice balls to break shield. You can just use bennets skill and burst and while doing that balls will fall closer to each other, that works with any pyro character, for example xianglings gouba is enough to get him 2-ball-hp

i pulled her on accident while trying to get sara, i wasnt even near soft pity.. and i was only scared about how slow the farming process would be considering im a light resin spender. i was shocked when i realized how easy it was to farm for her though. shes such a great unit
Baal is good for coop, when she use her Skill, all the party have the effect, so when all 4 of you hit the enemy, it will be slashed a lot by the lightning.
imo Raiden is not weak, I'm just kind of sad how potent her constellations are. Venti constellations are often known to be the least useful and he's a god at C0, with Stringless and Fav Bow amazing on him. Zhongli breaks the game at C0 and his weapon isn't as important as others. Raiden most of her constellations really boost her, her signature weapon is considerably stronger, and I'm even saltier that I got Skyward Blade..m I lost my Homa to WGS too. She's good at C0 but so much of her potentials locked behind paywall that I'm getting one of the biggest fomo I've had in Genshin
I got Ei, but I don't have her weapon and it's giving me the worst fomo I've ever had. Normally idc about their signature weapons, but man that spear is unreal

I heard somewhere once that overload is the worst reaction but I use fischl and diluc combo and they do amazing damage together with overload!! Your comment makes me feel seen I think electro and pyro together are underrated
@@mandalynh2403 people typically say that overload is bad because they only look at its dmg, which definitely lower than melt or vaporise when your characters are built well with good atk, crit rate/dmg and EM. The explosion knocking small enemies away is also annoying for sword, claymore and polearm characters since they need to chase after them all the time. But overload with certain characters who can avoid those issues like Yoimiya’s range letting her hit those knocked targets, or vs large enemies who can’t get knocked away is definitely fine to use, it’s all dependent on the situation and team comp
@@urlocalhamster5492 i use yanfei as my main dps and ei as the support so overloaded is triggered 24/7 and the dmg just stacks. like it can do around 30k in total for me in 5 seconds if i space the attacks right its honestly great. you just need to have decent ping and some elemental mastery.
A tip for Signora fight: You don’t need to break the 4 pyro stones in the corners, they stop the meteor without breaking them and they make the floor cold (Similar to cryo plant). the only time you need to break them is when you get her to her Crimson witch of embers transformation. After breaking them, they will spawn a pyro butterfly somewhere random in the field.
You don’t need to break them AT ALL unless the floor around you is icy/burning or you need to quickly get rid of the sheer cold or burning effect. Breaking them doesn’t spawn anything. The crimson moths spawn on their own during her transformation phase
It’s so refreshing to come and watch your videos. Lately it seems that every character is “trash” or “underwhelming” and while the Shogun isn’t my type of character personally, I still think her playstyle is really unique and interesting. It’s just nice to see you test the characters and enjoy them
I heard that if you use an electro damage bonus goblet and the energy recharge that the attack becomes too low and the ER is too high so it's better to go ER / ATK% but some people have enough energy recharge through substats and weapon and just use ATK%/ATK% or ATK%/ELECTRO DMG BONUS :) I saw a video on UA-cam doing damage comparisons and showed all of the stats and everything.
1:03 Atk goblet is better because your ER converts into electro damage already, and since you are using an ER sands, your atk is probably low, therefore an atk goblet is better, it balances your stats. I think her burst also counts as burst damage and not electro damage, so an electro goblet is almost pointless

They recommend getting ATK goblet if you have ER sands probably because of Baal's talent passive, Enlightened One. Each 1% above 100% gives you more electro damage and energy restoration so you'll have enough for electro damage. I'm not sure though XD
@@Elsa.zoneNt not if her attack is like 1600-1800, which it will probably be without an atk% piece or her signature weapon (atk will be especially low with 4 star weapons that dont give atk%). Ideally you wanna get atk to 2000. Electro dmg bonus suffers diminishing returns with her since it scales additively with every other dmg bonus. So she gets like 60% electro dmg bonus already from her passive, plus a little over 20% from her skill, plus about 60% from the emblem set, plus 32% if you're using the catch. So more electro dmg bonus would be a dmg increase, but also suffer from diminishing returns and lead to overall dmg decrease since her atk would be really low.
They have to give more resin and also make it so 4 of the weekly bosses cost 40 because there's no way you can do them all in one day with this little resin
For the Signora fight, her aoe damage puts cold spots on the floor during the first phase which will damage you, the same with fire in the second phase. The destroyable lanterns in the corners take away sheer cold and sheer burn by standing next to them, but also rid their quadrant of the aoe mess on the floor. So the best tactic is to fight her near one of the lanterns, when she lays down her damage on the floor, destroy that lantern and move to another. Hope this helps.
Yeah I learned that part way through the first time I fought her its dumb that you can do damage to it. It makes it seems like destroying them is a priority.

The reason you’re supposed to use an attack cup rather than electro damage is because she already has a lot of electro damage from her skill, so adding more will have less of an impact. The damage formula is skill damage * attack * damage bonus; so similar to how you want to balance crit rate and crit damage, you always want to balance atk and elemental damage bonuses.
I just finished her last ascension and got her talents at level 6. I prefarm her artifacts. I love having her on my team. I can spam the teams ult wuth her. But her The Catch is still in the process. Run her with Zhongli, Hu Tao and Kazuha.
the reason why you go with an ER sands and ATK goblet is because she gains electro damage bonus from her ER, so if uou have around 280 ER or more you don’t lose on any stat if that makes sense
The reason that people use atk% goblet with er sands is that her passive converts your er to electro dmg bonus. So you need atk goblet to make up for the atk lost on the sands otherwise electro dmg will give you diminishing returns

with Signora's battle the little things at the corners are like heat/cold sources (depends on faze) and they slowly remove the status from you. If you destroy it, it completely removes it and clears the floor because some of Signora's moves either make the floor really cold (sheer cold increase) or make it really hot (it increases the heat status)
I love her. The first character that causing me to pull her signature weapon. She's literally has Unlimited Burst Work with good burst rotation. I had so much fun playing her.
So, Moga. In regards of the ER sands, it is best to keep it ER instead of atk, because her scaling is so good, but also, at 300% ER, the Emblem Set gives the full 75% burst dmg bonus and the Engulfing Lightning atk passive. Depending on the weapon, atk goblet and elemental goblet can be switched, and since u have the Engulfing Lightning, u can run her with the electro goblet, since her atk will be high enough. Hope this helps^^
Many people are using attack goblet for Baal because of her passive giving you enough electro damage bonus that it would benefit her more to use an attack goblet instead of getting more diminishing returns from the elemental bonus. And usually she is used with an ER sands so the extra attack can make up for it.
You usually use atk goblet because the damage is multiplicate, and the way multiplication works is: if u have 10*1*x u get 10*x, but if u lower the 10 and make the 1 bigger, u get a bigger number, like 9*2*x=18*x. Basically too much of something at the cost of another thing is worse
Moga love, all you have to do to make the sheer cold and burning go down is stand next to the crystals, just like dragonspine. No need to destroy them. Lol. I enjoyed this video. Raiden is such a fun carachter to play.
an idea is to bring allies with enough ult cost so that when u use all their ult once, with the additional resolve stack gain from her passive, ull be able to reach max resolve stack. (raiden gets more resolve stacks the higher the ult cost used) the trial team achieved this. it had 2 80 cost ults, and 1 60 cost ult. that, and if u can produce a particle every 3 seconds, you should get max resolve stack in 1 team rotation. zhongli having a 40 cost proly made it harder to get max stacks. edit: c1 can proly reduce the total ult cost needed to get max stacks
Attack % is what she lacks the most and since with a great ER you can get the same electro damage bonus as having an artefact it’s better off to have ER and attack as this will massively boost her attack in burst, not much point having high electro damage if the attack and ER can’t take full advantage of it
Currently c5 with her but damn I’m digging her on my account. Once you lvl and build Sara she will become a staple . So far my biggest hit is 320k . I will say her damage is not very ftp friendly. When I hit c3 and got her weapon my damage went through the roof. Almost a 100 percent increase it felt (maybe closer to 75 percent). Only character i felt undeniably powerful everywhere with constellations and felt worth it to get more than a couple . That said she needs some tweaks. 1: make her work with beidou, electro traveller, and the skyward spine. It’s silly and restrictive she doesn’t. 2: her and albedo need to be able to proc against abyss mages and heralds. It’s silly and hurts a big part of their kits. 3: electro resonance needs a rework and perhaps the element and it’s reactions. This won’t be easy because Most electro units seem to have their kit built around being a terrible element
The reason atk percent goblet is better is because her third passive talent gives free electro dmg bonus when u have a lot of ER. Plus, her abilities scale off of attack so the more attack you have, the more damage your abilities will do. Electro dmg bonus will only buff elemental portion of the damag you are dealing, not the overall ability.
i think the overall consensus was: ER sands + electro goblet = BiS, if u run her with grass cutter and an atk buffer. could be wrong, it's just what i repeatedly read on forums and the like iirc.
The higher the burst cost the more resolve stacks you get so deciding who you put on a team for her is important. Zhongli works for every team but his 40 cost burst will give the least resolve. 80 cost bursts will give the most. That's why I like using Sara, who is basically made to work with her, or Xiangling or Jean or Beidou. People are complaining that she can't proc Beidou's burst during her burst but that's because they want Raiden to be their main DPS. I use Raiden and Beidou to support Yoimiya's dps and it's a little crazy.
I think it's a contest of speed vs. power. The higher cost bursts will give your more resolve stacks, but the lower cost bursts can easily be spammed to get stacks maybe faster. I use Keqing to get stacks quickly with C1 Ei
@@saberalter1586 The issue with lower cost bursts is that you will need more than one rotation if you want more resolve before using Raiden's burst. But with higher cost bursts and enough ER on Raiden you can cycle through them all in one rotation. I am not saying one approach is more ideal than the other but it is a consideration to be made. I LOVE that Raiden and Sara make us think and give more player expression to team building than "see broken character. Pick broken character."
I ecently decided to work on Ei and yeah, it's easy to farm for her. I got the last batch of fruit to ascend her in like 5 minutes, you could probably just spend 3 days on Seirei Island and you're golden o..o
Basically, with about 260-ish% total Energy Recharge, one of her passive talents gives her enough Electro DMG Bonus to be equal to a fully levelled Electro DMG cup + a Thundering Fury 2-piece (+15% electro damage), but of course you also have all that Energy Recharge too. It's important to run SOME +atk% on her so that all this bonus damage scales off of something. Therefore it's GENERALLY alright to run ER sands + ATK goblet, if you have like, a weapon that already boosts ER. It's probably not worth it otherwise, since in order to get that much ER without a weapon that boosts ER, you need to sacrifice other, more important stat rolls on your artifacts (e.g atk/critrate/critdmg). Electro DMG + Atk Goblet is a fine alternative.

The burst is burst damage but it also takes into account your electro dmg bonus

They recommend getting ATK goblet if you have ER sands probably because of Baal's talent passive, Enlightened One. Each 1% above 100% gives you more electro damage and energy restoration so you'll have enough for electro damage. I'm not sure though XD

@@Elsa.zoneNt not if her attack is like 1600-1800, which it will probably be without an atk% piece or her signature weapon (atk will be especially low with 4 star weapons that dont give atk%). Ideally you wanna get atk to 2000. Electro dmg bonus suffers diminishing returns with her since it scales additively with every other dmg bonus. So she gets like 60% electro dmg bonus already from her passive, plus a little over 20% from her skill, plus about 60% from the emblem set, plus 32% if you're using the catch. So more electro dmg bonus would be a dmg increase, but also suffer from diminishing returns and lead to overall dmg decrease since her atk would be really low.
They have to give more resin and also make it so 4 of the weekly bosses cost 40 because there's no way you can do them all in one day with this little resin
For the Signora fight, her aoe damage puts cold spots on the floor during the first phase which will damage you, the same with fire in the second phase. The destroyable lanterns in the corners take away sheer cold and sheer burn by standing next to them, but also rid their quadrant of the aoe mess on the floor. So the best tactic is to fight her near one of the lanterns, when she lays down her damage on the floor, destroy that lantern and move to another. Hope this helps.
Yeah I learned that part way through the first time I fought her its dumb that you can do damage to it. It makes it seems like destroying them is a priority.

The reason you’re supposed to use an attack cup rather than electro damage is because she already has a lot of electro damage from her skill, so adding more will have less of an impact.
The damage formula is skill damage * attack * damage bonus; so similar to how you want to balance crit rate and crit damage, you always want to balance atk and elemental damage bonuses.

I just finished her last ascension and got her talents at level 6. I prefarm her artifacts. I love having her on my team. I can spam the teams ult wuth her. But her The Catch is still in the process. Run her with Zhongli, Hu Tao and Kazuha.

the reason why you go with an ER sands and ATK goblet is because she gains electro damage bonus from her ER, so if uou have around 280 ER or more you don’t lose on any stat if that makes sense

The reason that people use atk% goblet with er sands is that her passive converts your er to electro dmg bonus. So you need atk goblet to make up for the atk lost on the sands otherwise electro dmg will give you diminishing returns

with Signora's battle the little things at the corners are like heat/cold sources (depends on faze) and they slowly remove the status from you. If you destroy it, it completely removes it and clears the floor because some of Signora's moves either make the floor really cold (sheer cold increase) or make it really hot (it increases the heat status)
Ei's stacks recharge fast when using high ult energy cost supports like xingchu and xiangling
I love her. The first character that causing me to pull her signature weapon. She's literally has Unlimited Burst Work with good burst rotation. I had so much fun playing her.

So, Moga. In regards of the ER sands, it is best to keep it ER instead of atk, because her scaling is so good, but also, at 300% ER, the Emblem Set gives the full 75% burst dmg bonus and the Engulfing Lightning atk passive. Depending on the weapon, atk goblet and elemental goblet can be switched, and since u have the Engulfing Lightning, u can run her with the electro goblet, since her atk will be high enough. Hope this helps^^

with her at C1 a full single ult cycle with one electro support you always fill up her circle and do max damage. so it's worth it.
Baal is just insane, although she needs a lot of er she can still be very strong and good as a sub-dps too

Many people are using attack goblet for Baal because of her passive giving you enough electro damage bonus that it would benefit her more to use an attack goblet instead of getting more diminishing returns from the elemental bonus. And usually she is used with an ER sands so the extra attack can make up for it.

Ok but ppl need to realize Electro doesnt even need any reactions to deal massive damage unlike other elements.
You usually use atk goblet because the damage is multiplicate, and the way multiplication works is: if u have 10*1*x u get 10*x, but if u lower the 10 and make the 1 bigger, u get a bigger number, like 9*2*x=18*x.
Basically too much of something at the cost of another thing is worse
This is why half of the Genshin Impact community is f2p.

an idea is to bring allies with enough ult cost so that when u use all their ult once, with the additional resolve stack gain from her passive, ull be able to reach max resolve stack. (raiden gets more resolve stacks the higher the ult cost used)
the trial team achieved this. it had 2 80 cost ults, and 1 60 cost ult. that, and if u can produce a particle every 3 seconds, you should get max resolve stack in 1 team rotation.
zhongli having a 40 cost proly made it harder to get max stacks.

Attack % is what she lacks the most and since with a great ER you can get the same electro damage bonus as having an artefact it’s better off to have ER and attack as this will massively boost her attack in burst, not much point having high electro damage if the attack and ER can’t take full advantage of it
It's worth mentioning that if you use bennett or sara with her then you should use an electro cup to avoid attack% staling
Currently c5 with her but damn I’m digging her on my account. Once you lvl and build Sara she will become a staple . So far my biggest hit is 320k . I will say her damage is not very ftp friendly. When I hit c3 and got her weapon my damage went through the roof. Almost a 100 percent increase it felt (maybe closer to 75 percent). Only character i felt undeniably powerful everywhere with constellations and felt worth it to get more than a couple .
That said she needs some tweaks.
1: make her work with beidou, electro traveller, and the skyward spine. It’s silly and restrictive she doesn’t.
2: her and albedo need to be able to proc against abyss mages and heralds. It’s silly and hurts a big part of their kits.
3: electro resonance needs a rework and perhaps the element and it’s reactions. This won’t be easy because Most electro units seem to have their kit built around being a terrible element
Video idea: Get the most amount of defense you can get on your artifacts and tank every boss
The reason atk percent goblet is better is because her third passive talent gives free electro dmg bonus when u have a lot of ER. Plus, her abilities scale off of attack so the more attack you have, the more damage your abilities will do. Electro dmg bonus will only buff elemental portion of the damag you are dealing, not the overall ability.
Might be worth running Sara if you have her C6, it gives electro damage +60% Crit damage for the duration of the buff. Haven't tried myself yet though

i think the overall consensus was: ER sands + electro goblet = BiS, if u run her with grass cutter and an atk buffer. could be wrong, it's just what i repeatedly read on forums and the like iirc.

The higher the burst cost the more resolve stacks you get so deciding who you put on a team for her is important. Zhongli works for every team but his 40 cost burst will give the least resolve. 80 cost bursts will give the most. That's why I like using Sara, who is basically made to work with her, or Xiangling or Jean or Beidou. People are complaining that she can't proc Beidou's burst during her burst but that's because they want Raiden to be their main DPS. I use Raiden and Beidou to support Yoimiya's dps and it's a little crazy.
I think it's a contest of speed vs. power. The higher cost bursts will give your more resolve stacks, but the lower cost bursts can easily be spammed to get stacks maybe faster. I use Keqing to get stacks quickly with C1 Ei
@@saberalter1586 The issue with lower cost bursts is that you will need more than one rotation if you want more resolve before using Raiden's burst. But with higher cost bursts and enough ER on Raiden you can cycle through them all in one rotation. I am not saying one approach is more ideal than the other but it is a consideration to be made. I LOVE that Raiden and Sara make us think and give more player expression to team building than "see broken character. Pick broken character."
I ecently decided to work on Ei and yeah, it's easy to farm for her. I got the last batch of fruit to ascend her in like 5 minutes, you could probably just spend 3 days on Seirei Island and you're golden o..o

Basically, with about 260-ish% total Energy Recharge, one of her passive talents gives her enough Electro DMG Bonus to be equal to a fully levelled Electro DMG cup + a Thundering Fury 2-piece (+15% electro damage), but of course you also have all that Energy Recharge too.
It's important to run SOME +atk% on her so that all this bonus damage scales off of something.
Therefore it's GENERALLY alright to run ER sands + ATK goblet, if you have like, a weapon that already boosts ER. It's probably not worth it otherwise, since in order to get that much ER without a weapon that boosts ER, you need to sacrifice other, more important stat rolls on your artifacts (e.g atk/critrate/critdmg). Electro DMG + Atk Goblet is a fine alternative.
