THANK YOU for reviewing this product. I have complicated undereyes and always have such high hopes when I watch videos on concealers. I ordered it right after watching your review and just got it. OMG, this is the ONLY concealer that is actually different. It self sets, and blurs (somewhat). It just looks beautiful! I ordered the same color that you did and it is lovely. I would have never tried this on my own and likely would have gone for something lighter, so TY, TY, TY!! Love your channel for us mature gals with less than perfect features.
I wish I liked it. I am 67 with very dry under-eye skin, so concealers are always challenging. This formula is a bit too thick for me, and adds to my dryness. Looks very nice on you!
Sorry it doesn't work for you, Maureen. You know your skin and your preferences best. I received another new concealer a few days ago - so what out for another review in the coming days!
"Makeup is not compatible with sweat". Preach, sister! I live in the tropics and it's the worst trying to get anywhere without sweating my literal face off.
Oooo try Sarah Creal face flex concealer! It’s made for women over 40 for one so you know thought and care went in to making it for such a specific skin type. The finish is a natural glow not matte at all and just a touch glowier than natural, it looks like healthy skin. I’m 31 with oily skin I do prefer a glowy base and this wears so well on me despite my oiliness. I’m not used to a foundation that is glowy that also wears long and well so I’m super impressed. It didn’t create and if there was any it was so minimal it wasn’t offensive. I apply with my fingers it’s a concealer doe foot applicator it just blends in so easily with taps it’s great for the face and under eye, I usually don’t like those types of bases but this somehow is different. Only downside is limited shade range but I am hoping that’s because this product is new to the market and will expand over time
This concealer is definitely on my to buy list. I think in the speaking parts of the video your overall base looks amazing. Nothing appears dry, it appears very natural and smoothing and the overall tone is perfect. Thank you for the video Kiki❤
I really enjoyed this review. I wish I'd seen it before I purchased! High hopes for this one, but the thickness was a problem for me. I have a tissue-paper thin, hollow under eye area and very dark circles, and for this issue, thin consistency is better. It looks beautiful on you and has great coverage. I hope you review every new concealer, because that is the hardest product to nail, for me, and your reviews are the best!
Revisiting this video as I swatched the concealer in store and it stayed beautifully on my hand - so I have high hopes for under my eyes. Thanks for the very thorough and informative review!
So glad you reviewed this Kiki, as westman atelier is my favourite brand. I have been using a touch of the liquid tinted highlighter in the rose under the eye and this just brightens the whole area. Saying ths iI don’t really have puffiness or dark circles. Very in-depth review as always.
I picked this concealer up the other day at my local Sephora and I got the M1 because I am light-med. It blends nice and I like the “clean “ ingredients. It doesn’t match perfectly because I am cool toned and her concealers are peachy but like you said after a while it mellows out and looks fine. I’m glad you did this video 😃
@@TheHoodedLidI also find the drmtlgy corrector suddenly mellows a few minutes after application… it magically looses the preachiness to the point that so often I can skip the concealer on top. And it’s also a product that seems to sit better when pushed in with finger tips rather than a brush.
When I look at my under eyes with a 10x mirror with no makeup, it is smooth, I don’t see textured skin. The minute I put any concealer on (I always moisturize well first) it looks like I applied fibers on my skin, I can even scape them off. I have a blue indented trowel under my eye so covering is a must, so frustrating!
I adore this concealer, I bought L3 and M1 and use them both to do my full face. It has lasted better than anything I’ve tried on my oily, makeup eating, melasma face. I’m curious what you thought about the L4, during certain times of the year you’re my shade sister (I’m on the other side of the world)..maybe I need that colour too! 😂 ❤ Thankyou Kiki! I was so looking forward to you reviewing this one.
Wow - that's so interesting that it works for for oily skin as well! It's been so sweaty here, I've been make-up free the past week - I need to try this color with a few of my "tried and true" foundations to see if the color works well with them.
I just bought this in shade L3(golden) so I am excited you demonstrated various applications. I may try a teenie repher brush to get into the corner, because with my 74 yo deep set eyes. Thank you for this wonderful review! (Btw where do you live with 90 and 100 degree heat, but it happens so seldom that you don’t have a/c? Just wondering.).
Thanks for your review of the WA concealer. I was on the product launch zoom but I’m always skeptical of makeup/skincare hybrids and the marketing in general. I trust your opinion though, Kiki and if you’re giving it a thumbs up, I’ll give it a try. It might displace my Sisley concealer 😊 Glad to hear the heat is abating a little - cheers from a fellow “Sweaty Betty” in the Southeast.
Personally, I’d prefer cosmetics not have hyaluronic acid. When it’s in the top/outside layer, it can draw all of the hydration out of the skin. (I have dry skin that I hydrate well. I need to keep that locked in. I feel like I’d need to put something occlusive on top of this concealer to keep it from drying my skin out through the day??) Maybe, this molecular weight is ok, and maybe in this combination (with peptides, etc) it won’t do that? Very curious. I do want to try it 😊😉❤
Good point. I always go one with a moisturizer after a serum with HA - so the HA has something to pull into the skin rather than out of the skin. I didn't feel that this made my under eyes look (or feel) dehydrated.
Hello Kiki, I have under eye areas that are dry with fine lines, some discoloration, hollow and bags develop at times. What are your recommendations for skincare and concealer? It was 100+ degrees in the OC last week through the weekend! Wow, you are tough without AC! Thank your for you beauty info for us Golden Gals! I just turned 64!
You're issues are a bit different than mine. With hollows' you'll want to go use a lighter concealer to counter the darkness hollows create. Not too light though. You might want to try the "triangle" and pull the concealer down to a point onto your upper cheek. For skincare - wear sunglasses to protect from UV rays, use eye masks for hydration, and try the DRMTLY corrector (I did a video on it) it is a great primer and has SPF. Also use eye cream day and night!
Kiki, I purchased and love the Westman Atelier concealer! Its’ formulation is like no other I have tried! Application with fingers work best like you suggested. I watched your video re: under eye skincare. I purchased the DRMTLGY under eye corrector and the Advanced Eye Cream. What under eye patch treatment do also recommend? Thank you!
I think you're on to something - I get better results using concealer before foundation too - and Pampered Wolf did a review the other day saying the same thing!
Hi. I have to say that you look more younger than couple months ago. Bc I haven’t seen you a while look at you so beautiful. Please share with us your secrets. Thank you.

Not really...it's has less fluctuation that other states. I can live with 85f - but we almost always have about four to six weeks of 90-100 in the late summer. If last week is the only heat wave we get this year - I'll be delighted!
Wow thanks Kiki, it looks great. The models on Sephora’s website also look so much better after application . I’m psyched to get this, in a fall shade for me. Thank you! Congrats Grace on your kennel , fall is coming soonish. !! 🩷🩷🩷
You're so welcome! I think she's been afraid of the crate because I ended up using it as a table and put things on top of it and a few times a lipstick fell through while she was in it - lol
Seeing your thumbnail, I thought for a second you were Cherry Jones, she played Nan in Succession, which I just finished watching

You are one of the very lucky ones! If I didn't have darkness, I'd skip the concealer, too!
Which do you prefer the westman or rituel de fille sorcery, as well does the WA look dry later in the day?

This is beautiful on my mature skin. Wears a long time and most importantly covers my dark circles l 😊
I'm loving it too!
Thank you Kiki. I was very curious about this concealor. I would assume in a cooler climate it would perform even better
I would think so as well. Certainly, application when one is not sweating would be preferable - lol

You have fantastic skin for 62. I would have thought 42 years. Good on you. Do you drink a lot of water as a matter of interest.
I do try to drink 1.5 liters a day - but don't always hit that goal. I highly recommend sunscreen!

Your eyes are hollowing due to aging. The bones seperate around the eyes. Try less salt and potassium for your bags.
