lol…Mandy, your husbands announcement regarding our bodies is pretty darn close to spot on. At 72 years young, I am probably in the best shape I’ve been in years. I walk almost every day, do Pilates and try to lift free weights. I eat pretty healthfully most of the time. And yet………the mirror shows slack skin, looser muscles and more wrinkles. My joy is that every candle we add to our birthday cake is a blessing! I don’t expect to look like I’m 40 , but I do want to look and feel the best I can. And just a heads up, I loved my 50’s and 60’s. The only thing that really freaks me out is that both my kids are in their 40’s, so no matter what my brain thinks, I can’t be 40 anymore. Cheers to being our healthiest, best selves.🥰🍷
LOVE the Nyx blushes, Getting Butter is my fave so far. I’m 47, with extremely dry skin, and the new ELF foundation is my new holy grail! It looms so flawless and skin-like.
I absolutely love the NYX buttermelt line. I have one of the bronzers and three of the blushes. Butta Biscuit in the bronzer, My Butta Half, Butta With Time, and For the Butta in the blushes. So pigmented, but I love that because it lasts so much better on my oily skin than most blushes do. I love the more unique shades in this line that you don't see often at the drugstore. And I love the scent, too.
Another great video, Mandy. I so enjoy your channel. With the buttermelt bronzer and blushes, I've tried them (also liked 03 Deserve Butta) and couldn't handle the fragrance. It was so strong... like the Physician's Formula products. I prefer products with no scent and have been happy with the L'Oreal Infallible 24HR blushes/bronzers. As a side note, thanks to you, I've fallen back in love with my curly hair and it now looks almost exactly like yours. Thanks for your video about your hair care routine. 💖🙏🏻
My opinion on the butter melt blushes is the same as the bronzer. I like bronzer and blush to be more buildable. I do like them, but they can easily get away from you if you don’t have a light hand, I will continue to use them, but they are not my tippy top favorite.
Have you ever tried concealing that sunspot *before* your foundation? I have a similar spot and it seems to work better. Light layer, lightly blended then let it set before patting foundation over it.
Another influencer recommends applying Maybelline stick concelor to spots, lightly blend and then apply foundation. I always apply foundation with a brush for more coverage
I have been planning to put fall decor for the past week, but today's the day! Steady exercise makes such a difference when you get older, I can tell a difference in how I feel if I miss some days. Hugs from the Pacific Northwest! 🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲
Hi, Mandy. I picked the elf foundation as soon as it was stocked. I LOVE it! I am 53 and have dry skin. This foundation looks so beautiful on my skin. I get so many compliments. And I only set it with the PF butter glow pressed powder in translucent glow. I love the setting powder by PF also. ❤🥰 I love your content. And you are so gorgeous Mandy. I just love watching your content. Take care and God Bless😇Jeanie from Alabama
Ohhh I was sweating it when you were dipping your brush into that bronzer 😂 I thought ohhh man she better wipe some of that off her brush, it’s going to be too much ahhh! lol. Those eyeshadows looked great on you! You always look so good with cool toned eyeshadows 😊 Yes, I also avoid sharpening my liners at the last possible moment because I don’t want to waste any product lol 😂 I can’t use any Elf complexion products. They look awful and cakey on my face, and they break me out. I haven’t liked one of their foundations
You are the most beautiful woman on youtube. I'm serious. If I had the color of your natural lip color I would only wear gloss. I say that because I'm always looking for a color that's light pink but it all turns dark on my darker lips. I'm pale like you but have mauve lips and if I use foundation or something to conceal my lip color first it turns cakey and gross on me. You know that maybelline pink gloss with lip plumper? well that's a perfect pink that you got but it's to painful to wear. I recently saw your older video of skincare and started using the Cetaphil products and am loving my skin now. It's way better than anything I've ever used. I'm so happy you made that video long ago!!
I have bought 3 shades of the NYX Buttermelt Blush. I have the cool pink My Butta Half, the soft mauve For the Butta, and the vivid watermelon Butta with Time. I use a contour brush, with a graduated loose spray of hair. I use two quick taps on the blush, then brush it up my cheekbones. They are definitely super pigmented. I prefer the pinky tones because anything else tends to look orange on me. I love them.
I have the NYX Buttermelt Blush in For the Butta and love it! Much like the bronzer, it is VERY pigmented, and a little goes a long way. It also has the most stunning sheen on the skin. You really should give it a try, Mandy.
I love the NYX blush in the shade in Getting Butta, . It's highly pigmented so use lightly! I think it blends great. I use it in combo with the ELF camo liquid blush in Berry Well, just a tiny bit give great color and I top it with the NYX. My go to!
I don't care for the Elf foundation, personally. But I'm also aging (I'm only 37 but I'm a whitey with weird skin!) so I'm leaning more towards almost zero coverage because it sets on my skin weird. I just use a good primer and goof powder to set with. My new blush obsession is the L'oreal Lumi liquid blush in the shade Dewy Worth It. I haven't used another blush since I purchased it. It's gorgeous and gives a sunburnt look. I love it. And I'm glad you're giving that pallet love. It's gorgeous. I fell instantly in love with it.
Amen. I don't care for it either. The elf foundation was splotchy on my skin. I have combo skin but lean more to the oily side. It just kind of sat on my skin and never married with my skin. I don't think oily prone skin likes it.
I don’t wear foundation everyday, so the elf foundation has been amazing when I want to look like me but better, lol. It does oxidize so I had to get a lighter shade. I am one that loves it, I put a light amount on my fingers and rube it around just to make everything look even. I have more oily but also dry skin and 42.
Final look is beautiful. I have not tried NYX but if you like the smell give the Physicians Formula Butter Bronzers a try. They are also very pigmented & smell lovely in my humble opinion. Make the rest of your Day a Good One!🌻
Oh Mandy!! I was expecting You to buy at least One Blush to say if the yes its great, no its terrible, some clarity.. but looks like some of the comments here just seems to say a very light touch of it is best!! The bronzer is obviously the same!!😊
Haven't tried the buttermelt blushes but will now. I really like it on you. For the eye palette, would you recommend that for a bride? I'm a brunette and looking for the best bridal palette. Any recommendations?
Girl im 42 and sometimes I feel like I'm idk a lot older with someone who has my health problems i did go a little bit harder on my body when I were younger so I guess its inevitable to not feel the best. But im blessed to be able to say im happy enough and I'm here 😊
You should definitely get a neutral shade. Also, your natural hair, eyebrows and eye color look cool toned. Why do you think your are warm? Because of the self tanner ? You even look better with all your Sydney Grace cool toned eyeshadow. Do you have a color analysis person near you?
I see so many people with self-tanner applying warm foundation to naturally cool skin and they’re like, “don’t worry, it matches the fake tan on the rest of my body, it looks fine in person..” Idk about that. 😬
@@iwillstom I know, the self tanner addiction is real lol. I will say JuicyJaz realized it. She looks to be a dark winter neutral/cool. Also I myself chatted with Vianney Stick a couple years ago. I don't like them as Elf foundations or anything like a foundation turns orange or even orange reddish on my skin more than yellow. Gave up trying to find one, because people say they are wonderful. They are just okay to me, you are right you feel like you want to love it. thanks awesome video

I could not tell what kind of shadow you used at first in the small pan. Was it white or light matte or shimmer. I was watching someone more pale doing a review on bronzers for hlighter skin she liked the first one butta up I think it’s called a bit rosey Thanks
Made it to 48 before I noticed anything. My advice would be keep up working out. I fell off the wagon after 50. Did myself no favors! Hard to get back to it if you stop.
I absolutely love the butter bronzer. I swatched the lightest and the next one, all buttad up. The first one looked grey on my hand swatch. I never tried it on my face. The one I got, I use as a blonzer. Every. Day. Also, I don't think I like your husband. I'm going to be 44 next summer too. Ugh...
Ok, maybe the minority here, but I have a lot of trouble with the Nyx buttermelt bronzer AND blush. They are so pigmented and I have trouble blending them out. I was very excited for them and they disappointed me. I have mostly cream bronzers and blush (Im 63) but I dont have this issue with my Hourglass jellyfish palette. I also have powder blush by Laura Mercier and patrick ta that blend out well. I also have a Loreal Infallible powder bronzer that is very nice. I let myself be influenced, shame on me!!!
I took a nose dive at 60. No clue what happened. From 56 to 58 I ran 29 5K’s and 4 milers total. Now I can barely get a mile in a day. Just glad my body held up to 60. Lots of health issues now no clue how I turned into such a mess. I liked the Elf foundation but needed a darker color. As for the bronzer the color is great but I don’t like smells due to my sensitive eyes. Another fun issue I developed.
You know it's funny. I never care about how much is in a product, except eyeliner and mascara. They are the only two products I actually go through and finish. I can't recall the last time I finished a blush or foundation, or even powder. Maaaybe a couple Fit Me concealers. I just never finish one whole product.
I’m 55 but I feel better now than I did at 45 in perimenopause with horrible insomnia and all sorts of weird joint issues (frozen shoulder twice!!!!). Also, men are built differently than women, and what is normal for them in terms of upper body strength is not normal for women.
Dang! Men can be so obtuse, just because they read it doesn't mean they have to repeat it... LOL! A lkfetime ago I was into weight lifting I could bench press three times my body weight and leg press almost five times my weignt. That took me three years of lifting five days a week and pushing myself Way too far too fast. Be kind to yourself, you will get there. You don't want to look like the Hulk.
Yea! My favourite palette too is the ABH Rose Metals! Great inspo for and eye look, I think I’ll save the video and do it myself. Bronzer look like a cool-rosy colour I might like too . As for not sharpening your lip liner and not sharpening it lol life’s too short to be that frugal hun! Come on , I know a lot of people are tho . Like they save an eye palette for only special occasions and then what happens is that they never end up using it lol! Then that’s actually worse cause it will go bad and then it goes to waste ! As per waste . Having a a broken essence highlighter that’s older than your kids?! Mandy!! Essence may just be the most affordable brand out there , since you love it so much, just spend the $3.99 and grab a new one and save your face from the bacteria! It’s definitely there you just cannot see it ! Life’s to short not to live it up . That why I find it interesting you still have hyperpigmentation, when there are so many different readily accessible drugstore priced products that will get rid of that in months, in fact in my be cheaper to buy a product to get rid of it for food than buying so many different makeup products to hide it too! And if you need a cure all to get rid of it and a product that will probably last a long time is the Nars Pot Concealer and apply it after primer and before your foundation, it’s thick and should stay and cover anything! Take care and I love your videos!
Why don' you reply to your subscribers comments? I don't leave comments anymore because I feel like I don't matter. I love your videos and I will always watch them
You really need to test the foundation with a brush. These sponge applications are so time consuming and tedious with little coverage which is a waste of money. If I use foundation I want coverage or why even bother buying foundation.
I really like the NYX butter melt bronzers and blushes but I have to use a really light hand with all of them - but that is usually what I do anyway - but they are really good, and not just good for the price. :-)
It is so sad how much you focus on aging, hyperpigmentation, wrinkles, etc. I don't watch you very often for just that reason - you are obsessed with aging and not in a good way.
DARK SPOT - try color correcting with LAGirl Pro conceal in the pink shade before foundation. For even better coverage I layer over the corrector Dermablend leg & body makeup! Then apply your normal foundation. I have dark spots like no tomorrow and this technique has been very helpful in achieving coverage. Yep, no fall deco out yet 🫤

That took me three years of lifting five days a week and pushing myself Way too far too fast. Be kind to yourself, you will get there. You don't want to look like the Hulk.
If you can do a barbell back squat with good technique (a** to grass as they say) with your own body weight, you’re doing very well!
I think your husband might be right on those ages. 44 and 70 I just turned 71 and Boy. Have I felt the change in my body 😢
Don’t worry about your body at 44, I didn’t see any problems until 60.
I love your videos and I will always watch them
Old age starts at 35. That's when everyone started having back problems. I'm 54 now. It only gets worse. Do your stretching exercises, people!
Wow that is a lot of bronzer, blush and highlighter. I prefer mine to look more natural. I’ll pass on those products.
You really need to test the foundation with a brush. These sponge applications are so time consuming and tedious with little coverage which is a waste of money. If I use foundation I want coverage or why even bother buying foundation.
The damp sponge just melds the foundation to your skin. Looks more natural!
I really like the NYX butter melt bronzers and blushes but I have to use a really light hand with all of them - but that is usually what I do anyway - but they are really good, and not just good for the price. :-)
Your a cosmetic reviewer!! Stop reading reviews before you give YOUR REVIEW!!!
Stop with the drugstore products.
