Episode 18: Making of Ensiferum album One Man Army - DDD hammond recording

Video from October 2014.
This video was originally supposed to be released during the recording session as studio diary. Due circumstances not related to Ensiferum the video was never released. As I have some two dozen cool videos from the session, I decided to upload them on UA-cam with the permission of the band.
This 18th video is about recording hammond parts for DDD aka Descendants, Defiance, Domination. Emmi is delivering great emotion and movement in style of Deep Purple. On the side note, please check out what Markus is doing in the background! Our 70’s Leslie speaker speed selector cannot be operated in the control room so Markus was our “lepattaja” aka the operator of Leslie rotation speed. He was brave enough to spend the evening by the speaker altering the speed how he wanted and when/if he felt like it. We witnessed some amazing karate kicks and other strange moves by Markus while he was operating..
