agree with everything you said. If we could unlock the rocket pass on both rocket league and rocket racing that would help the game a lot 🤙🏼
I agree and feel you 100+% Blair.. it's sad, but still holding on to some hope.
The kicker is there’s a avatar skin for the octane in rocket league that carries over to RR, but is not earn able in RR
100% agreed. it's so cooked and it's sad to see cause its a really fun mode.
We need EPIC to be cooking, not Rocket Racing to be cooked haha
I was expecting to have either more maps or more of a competitive incentive for Rocket Racing to happen season 1. I think at this point the online motivation for most people will just be the new season and ranking up again.
I'm with you, I think the amount of maps that were added are fine though. I think more will come or at least I'm hopeful they will.
Well, I hope that in the future they will bring a battle pass for rocket racing, duo ranked queue and more details on customization, in rocket league we have many painting styles, many are animated, collaborations would also add a huge weight to the game just like in Fortnite. but this will take time. Unfortunately, we can only wait.
So much potential, just needs to be realized.

As someone who's been playing fortnite since 2017, NEVER get your hopes up for a new season. They have always had the potential to make the best or the worst season ever. Also their decision making has always been questionable at best.

It breaks my heart that they ruined rocket league and removed trading (my favourite part of the game) and this is what they have the show for it...

br do these events regally dont think its that bad of a deal to not have a pass. quite refreshing to not have a pass tbh never liked them
That's fair, but a lot of people like then, most of the community in fact, because it helps with their attention span. Gives them something to work for, yk? It's just epic trying to bring interest to Fortnite cause it's their like, og creation.

The matchmaking system is terrible for the elites and low champs (like filler you know...) , they're up against the top 10, honestly, I feel sorry for them. The double pads are dead, the map pool sucks, that's my opinion. Where is rocket racing heading? I don't know, but the downhill slide has begun. Ranked is a mess, it's not the same flavor as last season.
Trust me Rocket Racing will never be the same, Golio was right.

He said the game won't be the same as before, there are too many bugs, he can't even raise and lower the nose of his vehicle. He also said during his last stream, "this is the last time you'll see me streaming," I think he's very disappointed with Rocket Racing. He himself told me that he wouldn't give his all in the new season. Moreover, even though it's over now and he's surely had time to digest it, losing his first place demotivated him. He's taking a break, I see him working on UEFN maps but that's about it

It could indeed be, hopeful that it won't be though.
You hosting tournys did more for the game than epic has. They should have announced racing tournaments like they have for BR ranked but its clear they dont care about the mode like the ugly step child or something.
They will never make tournaments for a game that barely reaches 11k players per day. (It's absurd to see the RR graph on Fortnite gg) The only tournaments we'll see are the community tournaments hosted by streamers, Discord servers, which is already great, a big thank you to them.
And just as we launched the ranked 1v1's on the channel spectating breaks. -_-
@@Genesisx299 If they wanted to grow the game mode why wouldnt they? Showcasing cash tournaments for racing like they do BR would surely bring in more attention. And like you said there have already been successful tournys by streamers n discord servers so why wouldnt legit tournys hosted by epic be even more successful? Halo infinite has a lower player base and they never stopped doing halo tounrys all these years. The real question is does epic want to grow this mode or forget about it, not would tournys work or not.
@@BlairZED Ive been too chicken to join the 1v1s as I think ill get smacked but ig I dont even have the chance now? sad, hopefully gets fixed maybe tuesday update?
Yeah at this point im not too confident the game will succeed, and thats really sad for us but also the rocket league community who sacraficed a bunch of content while the devs worked on this. Doesn't mean I wont still play the game, because I really like it, but I don't see the game getting too much love from epic down the line. It could become stale very quickly.
I'm still champs i really don't care anymore about.
Rocket Racing is dying slowly..
The starter pack is a joke. Over twice the price of both the Lego and Battle Royale starter packs for a skin that is worse than both Clara and Brite Agent and a car that is worse than both the Admiral and the Masamune that I got for free from Rocket Pass. Rocket Racing is not currently enticing to play. No good free rewards this season or a path that will engage the player base. Whoever thought the starter pack at $9.99 with no grindable path to gettting cars or skins was a good idea has lost touch with reality. The game has potential but the add wizards that are making the starter pack pricing need to go away and make that kind of content free or way less than $10
The rewards that you grind for this season are quite lackluster indeed.
They should put a rocket racing launcher in rocket league, it would make it easier for the rocket pass and you would get all the cars from rocket league, they wouldn't have to transfer them over every like, once a month.
the issue is that they run on different engines
@NightDayZX Yeah, ig honestly they should just make it its own game. It's been suggested a few times, bit I think it would really help the community.
Lmao rocket racing ain’t successful as it could be because there isn’t much to it. They straight up said they were making a MARIO KART TYP RACING GAME so that through a lot of people off for one
It’s great but yea. If they release it later that is meh kinda wat no mans sky did but I don’t think people will care by then
As for the rocket pass yea lotta people will play it because everyone isn’t good at rocket league
The avatar event was already planned and leaked long ago so man you gunna have to let that one go, there’s a lotta leaked br stuff they planned tbh
Rocket racing isn’t gunna get a lotta players tbh due to the skill ceiling being so dang on high especially towards end game you gotta think bout that too
But eh that’s if you wanna keep long term players they also didn’t make a casual Que playlist so it’s SUPER COMPETITIVE which turned mad people away aswell so that’s solely on watever dev thought that was a good idea😂😂😂
And with all that only thing epics gunna do is question should they eve be supporting the game mode anymore

Seriously sometimes I just wanna have a causal race and maybe run into 2 or 3 people on my level but noooo I’m stuck in sweat city lol and I know there’s a tone of folk that feel the same
Also doesn’t help that there’s speed hackers and teleporters in rank aswell so you just straight up get cooked and have to hope you get lucky to not Que against them

I made it there in season zero but stopped playing and slowly lost rank but eh that crap was stressful
