HOW I FOUND MY VOICE

  • Life is tough! Growing up I have been through many challenges and I soon found that being an adult wasn’t any easier. From a death in my family at an early age to going through a divorce, I had lost my voice. I no longer knew who I was besides being a mom to Will, Nash, and Hayes. I wasn’t happy and knew I needed a change. I hope you find inspiration for your own life through my story!

Hi Elizabeth! This video is honestly really inspirational for me and my mother...
(This is my mothers story ⬇️)
My mom is 40... she has 7 kids... here it goes.
At 17 my mom got pregnant... yet my stepsisters dad didn't want to do anything with her and help her take care of their daughter...
She never got to finish high school because she had to take care of my grandma and my stepsister...
My mom finally met my dad and he brought her and my stepsister to the United States...
Me and my 2 other siblings were born in Mexico as well... I was only 4 months old when I came to the US...
my dads parent never liked my mom... (She is 40... she gave birth to 7 kids! It was really hard for her lose weight) so they would judge her and tell my dad "Do you see your brothers wife's????" They would always compliment my uncles wife's but never my mom... my mom tells me that when she was in Mexico my grandpa told my dad that she was cheating on him... (which wasn't true) but my dad would beat my mom... that didn't just happen once it happened multiple times... all because of my grandpa... he would tell my dad lies about my mom... Now that we are older I listen to their conversations when they are arguing... my mom always brings it up... saying "I REMEMBER YOU BEATING ME.... BECAUSE YOUR FATHER WOULD SAY LIES ABOUT ME... JUST BECAUSE HE DIDN'T LIKE ME... I NEVER FORGAVE YOU OR YOUR PARENTS... THE ONLY REASON IM WITH YOU RIGHT NOW IS BECAUSE OF ALL OUR KIDS..."
it makes me sad knowing that my father did those thing to her... but he has changed... well I hope!
I don't know if I should be sharing this but... someone needs to know my family's story... 😐

Thank You! I just hope that my grandpa sees what he is doing to my parent... he wants my parents to get divorced... and my dad knows if he leaves my mom it's going to be hard taking care of 5 kids in the house... (2 other siblings moved out)

Omg. Prayer trails sound so awesome!! This was so inspiring to me!! I love to run but I haven't in a while, but this makes me want to go to the gym right now and run cause it really does fuel me now that I think about it. I feel so good and energized after I run and listen to worship music on my headphones. 😄

I´m from Portugal and I started riding a moto with my father when I was about 3 almost making 4 years old, and I used to love it but at one point of my life my dad stopped riding and I quit riding to and now at age of 16 I´m taking my license and gonna start riding again. All because of your family, who inspired me every day. So thank you, I love you.

This video is insperational to me. Thankyou so much. Your words inspired me so much right now. My mother actually went through so much and I know what it is like to live a different life coping with the bills, finding a job, my mom getting divorced and even more especially, her raising us two kids now grown up. But, its amazing what you do for your family through all that you went through, a tough phase in your life that you overcame. You believed in yourself and you made great life changes. Very insperational.

Wow! I have to communicate this with you Girlfriend. This video is just the 2nd video of yours that I watched back to back. I know I live under a rock to have just now found you. With that being said , I have to tell you ( wish it was face to face) that you just became part of my testimony! Wow!! I was a teen Mom , my daughter turned 18 recently ( she's an only child) and I have been really thinking and wondering about me as a person. That's hard to do when all you know how to do is be a Mom. I literally broke down and just prayed and prayed for guidance last night and this video answered just about every single question I asked God! I'm looking forward to my journey with ease and excitement now! Thank You Thank You Thank You! God Bless Your Journey! 😇

    Hello Elizabeth,
seeing you stay true to your faith & striving for a peaceful, non-materialistic lifestyle, has inspired me to be a more giving human being & really appreciate life as is comes!!! after my parents divorce in 2013, i was devastated & couldn't bare the heartache that came along with it... but seeing the experiences that you have gone through as a child, mom, & wife, not only gives me hope for the future, but gives me strength and prosperity to which i can share through out my life experiences as well! so thank you Elizabeth, you truly are a blessing!

I like to watch your videos over and over, because they are an inspiration to me too. I admire your strength, and your mentality, and I agree and can relate to alot of what you share in your videos. When you said that your father died when you were 14, and that you had suffered alot of anxiety and depression, it made sense why I had felt something after watching your first video. I am like a burden bearer, and I can feel other people's pain, and I can sense things, and I had felt like something was oppressing you, or you had an issue about something painful, and I actually felt drained a little. So I had prayed for you, that it would be lifted off you, and then I felt better. You are right about praying everyday. If I don't pray always, and everyday, then bad things seem to happen, or I am weaker, and vulnerable. I have to pray for protection all the time, because since I am sensitive to spiritual things, I am the target of abuse. There's alot I could share with you, do you have an email?

You are such an inspiration, it really hit me how life can give you these situations and we have to get over them, it helps make us who we are. If life did not give us these bumps in the road it would be too easy, life would have no meaning. We need to stay strong and true to ourselves of who we are and who we continue to be. You have shown me, even as a teenage girl that, staying strong is hard and we will go through these moments that are sad, depressing, happy, exciting, and angry. However, the outcome will be even greater knowing we have set ourselves up for greatness, when all along we thought this is it, it cant get worse than this and we may have set ourselves up for failure. But failure makes us stronger and we cant forget this. Thank you for giving me this time to pray and think my way through. ❤️🙏🏼

You should make a book. Your a great inspiration. I lost my dad when I was 8 my brothers were 3, they are now 9 and I am now 14 and just watching this video helps. You always have a way to make my day and talking about losing parents is really a hard subject, especially when you were really close to them. And its also really hard when people point out similar traits that you and your parent have. My mom a little over 1 year ago started dating someone. He has had a great Impact on me and my brothers lives and hes so much like my dad it shouldn't even be real it seems like. Thank you for always making me and all the other fans feel like apart of your family. I really hope to meet you, the boys Skylynn, and Jonnie some day. Lysm

Breonna Alvarez - I have bad anxiety too bc of people at school who I thought were friends…Lately in Sunday School my teacher has been saying to always remember to pray in those tough times, not only for yourself but for others too. From this I've really learned to take everything to God and that always helps me day to day and I hope it could help you too! 😌 I also try to remember that even in the midst of the storm, when you think everything's going wrong, God has a plan, and a reason, and he's always there. And even when you think you're alone, he's always there by your side.

I've been though what I call harassment. When I was 12 my grandmother passed away and my grandfather passed away when I was 17. That had a huge impact. I deal with mild depression and anxiety. As a mother and wife now I strive for healthy for my family. I love buying organic, non-gmo, natural products. My FB account was used against me. What I said to a family member backfired. Second hand info was passed and that was twisted.
I have been turned into CYS 4xs in 3 years. I was turned in for neglecting medical care, buying organic, my mental health was questioned, ect. The first time I got turned in was when our oldest was about 2 months. I cried uncontrollably. By the 4th time I welcomed the caseworker in the house like she was a friend.
To this day I still buy organic, ect.

As a hardworking mom, I'm sure you have some tips to stay calm in stressful times.. right now we are a week away from our school play and everything just seems like a mess... it's really stressed me out and I listened when you said you do yoga or water flowers, do you have any other stress relieving tips? Maybe a certain kind of tea or just some techniques you could share with me if you see this.. thank you ❤️❤️

Maddie Lynne- Hey Maddie! Honestly I think things stay a mess during this time in our lives. It can be so hard when the holidays are approaching and the kids activities seem to be full throttle now, more than ever. I pray every morning for God to cleanse my soul with peace that only he can give me.....a mothers soul can get so weary if we let it. Lay it all at the feet of Jesus....HE WILL TAKE IT!

Elizabeth Grier-Floyd thank you for replying!! This helped because I haven't prayed in a while and it reminded me to.

Elizabeth, I just came across your channel because I saw the video of your beautiful farmhouse tour...I am so glad I did. Your house, lifestyle and country living is beautiful. I love how simple and minimalist you are. I hope to one day own a piece of property like yours. It is amazing!!!!! LOVE your channel! By the way, thanks for your message about God because nowadays so many people fear speaking about Him because they don't want to offend people. I appreciate that!!! Although I don't go to church, I strongly believe in Him and pray every single night!!!!
