I’ve been to their office to book & pay for this exact trekk today (starts tomorrow)! I saw this video ages ago (I’ve watched it maybe 4 times since) and have been adamant I was gonna have this exact experience too! When I was asked how I heard about it I told them about your video and even showed them the little intro & they looked so happy!!! Thanks for sharing this I’m SO excited for tomorrow 💗
I can’t tell you enough how much i love your videos! I am absolutely ITCHING to get to Southeast Asia in 2022. Thank you for these vids, i absolutely love your channel xo
I'm in the same boat! Have been planning a 6-12 month sabbatical in SEA for the past couple of years. And have binged all of her videos the past 2 days haha
The tour guide is hilarious!🤣 I salute to all of you in this tour that you all spent the night in Karen village to learn different cultures. 🙏👍👍👍 22:50 The 2nd tribe village house is to die for, for me. I love this wooden high floor cottage. And THE FOREST VIEW AT THE OPEN BALCONY- SPECTACULAR!!! Can live there in real life.
Wow, this tour is an absolute bargain for 3 days, 2 nights. This is very up my street and I would 100% do this tour whenever I make it to Northern Thailand. 🙌🙌 Love Jeremy's sarcastic comments 'you smoke it like this', 'because I'm a special guest' You need to get him more involved But then your comment at the end 'I'm being splashed by the elephant poo' 🤣🤣
I really want him more involved, he is hilarious 😅 he’s still very camera shy and prefers it behind the camera so it will be a working progress lol. Yess the tour was such good value!!
oh my god, literally everything in this video is reminding me of the last time I was in Chiang Mai, like the incredible views, the beautiful people, the elephants, the rafting, the trekking, the food and the villages. UGHHJGSJSJK I WANNA GO BACDCCK
I definitely enjoyed watching this exciting adventure. I hope you were able to find more shoes. Thanks for sharing and allowing me to see things I'd never otherwise get to view. Stay safe. xx
Great video! I’ve done all of the tours in Chiangmai except rafting. It looks like an amazing experience and I will have to try it I love the various kinds of sticky rice inside of the circular bamboo enclosures. I loved it so much that I wanted to share it with my family in the U.S. Imagine my surprise when I opened 2 day old sticky rice and it had considerably rotted in those two days. I can’t wait to see your next location!
I live in Vancouver British Columbia and I have my own elephant here but I'm the one only person who rides him. I don't like other people doing that because it gets him a little nervous. Nice video. Thanks for sharing.
I absolutely loved this video. Seriously makes me yearn for Thailand again ❤🇹🇭 Hoping to go back out there in January 2024 and do some travelling while remote working!
@backpackingbananas, couple questions: what month did you do this trek? I've heard smoke pollution in winter months and we are planning for a trip shortly. Secondly, do you know the difference between this trip and the 2 day 1 night trek trip?
I really love your content. And I really have laughings sometimes. Just a quick question… could you zoom in on your next vid about how it is to be travelling in asia during covid? I’m planning to go for a 6/12 month trip in September… and very curious how it’s to travel with covid
I’ll try and touch on it here and there but honestly it’s quite like normal 😅 just with mask wearing and the nightlife being more dead that usual but restrictions are changing ALL the time so it will likely be a lot different in September!
Thank you for the Video. I have seen on their site. that sleeping bag needs to be brought. The backpack in the video were small to hold a backpack right and I did not see any sleeping bags being carried. wrt to charging of phones or cameras. How did you manage?
Great video! ☺️👍 Did you regret not taking hiking boots? Also did you have many vaccines before you went, to go into the jungle etc? Love your videos fly out to Thailand on Wednesday can't wait 😍😄
Hi Christianne! That was an awesome trekking adventure. I wished I were there. Love your editing and narration. I was glued to my tablet the whole time. Btw, when you encountered those water buffaloes earlier, did anyone notice they had taken up a defensive formation just in case they were "attacked" by straaange visiting humans? Lol! Look again! Wonderful video. 10 👍 in my book! Bye! 😊
Very interesting insight into what's on in Chiang Mai. Btw, slight correction, elephants eating 3-4kg per day... more like 150 to 170kg of food per day. They spend in the region of 16hours a day just eating, so 3-4kg wouldn't last long. Otherwise, great content as ever.
What a great Vlog, I have a question for you I would really appreciate it If you answer it. I noticed all of the team are couples, do they allow solo adventurers ?? Thanks
Omg girl please get a pair or water socks! Every time you have to put your feet in water in your vids, I want to ship you a pair! Lol these mesh rubber soled socks w tread that quick dries is so comfortable and no risk of stepping on something that grosses you out or hurts or pokes your foot altho not thick enough to step on oyster shells in FL! I bring in my eagle creek daypack & wear waterproof hiking boots and changeout
Thinking of doing some multi day treks in Central America this summer and would love to hear how you book yours! Is it a better idea to book a trek online prior to the trip or is this something that can be done in town/ at the hostel? Love your videos, have so much fun!
Deffo just wait until you get there! Like I mentioned at the beginning, the hostel had loads of flyers for various tour operators. In the end, I looked online to find the one we wanted to do. We booked about 2 days before the tour departure
They definitely feed you very well! I can't believe the abundance especially in remote places. Hopefully not long now before I can travel again! All depends when Aunty Cindy lets us in or out of the country!
So you’re telling me you don’t want to be downstream of the elephant poo? 😂 also I can’t believe your shoes decided to break in the middle of nowhere, that would happen wouldn’t it
Did you keep your regular backpack at the Hostel? If so, was it the same price as staying the night or was it cheaper since they were just holding your bags?
I’ve been to their office to book & pay for this exact trekk today (starts tomorrow)! I saw this video ages ago (I’ve watched it maybe 4 times since) and have been adamant I was gonna have this exact experience too! When I was asked how I heard about it I told them about your video and even showed them the little intro & they looked so happy!!!

Aww that’s so nice! 🥰🥰 hope you have an incredible time and tell them I say hi ☺️

Thanks so much Cara ❤️❤️

@@BackpackingBananas Show him the comments... who knows, maybe it'll boost his confidence?! You 2 make a great team though!
it's a bargain for you, not so much for the rest of the world :S
Thank you so much for these Thailand videos! You are literally planning my trip so I need to add this expedition to it!

The guide is so lovely, I like when he gave you a sticky rice in bamboos to you all. (It’s called Khao Lham).
Good to try 😄

Been on that exact same hole a few yrs ago...and yeah swimming in the waterfall was really nice.

Loved this video, it looks like so much fun! The elephants are so sweet! Isn't the blue whale the largest mammal?
Hi Christianne! That was an awesome trekking adventure. I wished I were there. Love your editing and narration. I was glued to my tablet the whole time. Thanks Raymon! That makes sense with the water buffalo! They did seem very wary of us!
Very interesting insight into what's on in Chiang Mai.
