Seung Yoon is an amazing solo artist, but he also loves his group aka his brothers in WINNER so much too! He wanted to fulfill his role as leader/main vocalist/main composer of WINNER first before spreading his wings as a solo artists. He purposely put his solo projects on the back burner cuz he wanted to focus more on the group and supporting his members that have solo projects. That’s just how dedicated he is to his members and he’s still like that. Now that the eldest members are serving in the military, he finally had a solo comeback after 7-8 years! He got to release his first solo album called PAGE and got to promote as SOLOIST KANG SEUNG YOON. He’s always been so active not only in music or music related shows, but he’s also a rising actor this past year and a half. He’s been a radio DJ, MC, 6 TIME KING OF KING OF MASKED SINGER, a legit photographer, and even a fashion collaboration alongside Mino with PLAC for 2 lines already. Yoon and Mino became recognized for their art and photography have their work hung up at an art exhibit called, KOREAN EYE 2020: CONTEMPORARY KOREAN ART. So yeah while I agree we should have more of soloist Yoon and that we want more music for him. He’s very loyal and will continue to make music with WINNER too. Whenever they’re all done with their military service, they have said they want to continue making music together. 💙💙💙💙
I don't love you is already a good song. In fact it is my 2nd fave korean lovr song. No matter who sings this song, it is just so good. So when they made this version, I knew exactly this will be my favorite. Kang Seungyoon is on another level. He deserves more recognition. The voice, emotions, you can feel the passion, innocence, genuineness and sincerity.
It's always a treat to find another person who admires Kang Seung Yoon. I love him for the same reasons you gave. I am forever grateful for King of Masked Singer for his time and for the solo projects he has been able to do as a consequence. And Gummy is always impressive. I never get tired of their "Shallow" duet. And I melt anytime I hear this song--it just full of heart-wrenching emotion. Thank you!
