- Great trip into my agate and geode claim looking for those amazing natural treasures. Had a great day prospecting. this time it was for semi previous gemstones and not gold. But I absolutely love doing this rock hounding and gem collecting.

You must have a huge stockpile of rocks and gems. It would be really cool to see a showcase of your collection!
agreed
Yes please! A livestream of even a portion of your collection would probably be mind blowing to the majority of us
Absolutely 👍👍
Here here i want this aswell
I also agree I would like to see this
I don't know if this is a general feeling with your subscribers, but I would love the opportunity to watch more of your lapidary work in some videos. It would be great to see more of the processes you use to finish the stones we see you find.
I really love your antics you can be anything light and bubbly
Awesome video, thank you for sharing your agate finding. God bless, take care and stay safe and well 🙏🙏🥰🥰👏👏👏👏👍👍👍👍💖💖
I am in love with that tiny geode 🥺
I like gold finds and natural journey u do in all you're finds and video. Thank u for advice on where to look and everything.
Thank you very much. For taking us along on your agate search.
May God continue to bless you and your's Amen

Nice pile of aget Dan thank you for sharing five stars sir
I found natures treasures in abundance.
Good fertile soil built through sound practice that delivers shining smiles from my customers when they order for next year.
It's a good thing you like rock hounding because I like watching your podcasts. You're rocks are amazing and you can find them. My oldest daughter owns a big mountain in Nevada and I get to find so many beautiful stone's. Thanks and God bless you
Little does Dan know he could walk around NYC or LA dressed exactly like that and people would think he was an "influencer" these days. Dan is actually the kind of influencer we need!!!!
Dan you're an absolut gem!
ROCK on Dan!
Don't apologize Dan, I wear those EXACT same socks and I don't apologize one bit. :-)
My wife once bought me a pair of sandals similar to those and I NEVER wore them without socks. She hated it.
Loved the druzzy one! Sparkely! 🤩🤩🤩🥰
I love agates ! Keep on digging . May you hit your largest gold find very soon !
Love those Agates!

Hi Dan I have been watching your videos for several months now and also order some of your products and love both. I was wondering why you had heart surgery and I'm glad your doing better Thanks!!!!
you bring me joy every time i watch your videos dan you are a master of information on the subjects you talk about and i thank you for brightening up my day
Love the safety boots Dan 😂🤣
Agates and Geodes are my forte!!! I'm excited!
Looks like fun, you’re making me nervous with that hammer drill, thanks for sharing!
I really like walking the access roads to places like this during light rains. A lot of these roads use local mediums/gravels to top the dirt works and I find tons of agates, quarts points(frequently damaged), flower stones, sizable garnets, and rough amethyst nodes. There are always a lot of other interesting stones that are more common.
Geodes are my weak spot. Fell in love with them when I was 8 years old.
Yea my mom had a Indian squash blossom that was made with turquoise and aggite. It was beautiful
neat to know Dan did not know but you are the best thanx
Excellent agate finds Diamond Dan!!
Ive gained cool knowledge and a wicked desire to move to Canada and just marvel at that scenery. And the folks seem pretty cool as well. ;) Thanks for sharing your adventures sir!
Love this great content Dan
love the safety sandals!
I got the flower stone and the ocean picture stone in the mail the other day. My neighbor's young children saw them. My husband told them they were prettier when wet so they started spitting on them! The rocks are now in my collection.
Love digging for stones
Generator, jack hammer, sandals and socks ! That’s how I want to prospect!
Your socks are great. I have the same brand and I love them. Lol
the forest you are in reminds me of the upper three forks of the Gila River in the Gila National Forest in southern NM
kinda the opposite end of the Rockies
gotta love a canuck who properly uses pounds
Those are beautiful
Lots of this stuff in my local stream. I found a flint knife there last week.
Thank you Dan, great video. That tiny geode can make a great pendant!
prize of my collection is a 5 inch geode....never dug for em...i'm too lazy, find them in streams. Have thousands of the small 2 /3 inch types. love the video.
Great adventure we have great geodes in Navajo county in Arizona nice finds take a mini excavator in there you’ll get your watermelon. Lol thanks for sharing see you on the next one👍🏻👊🏻
Idk much about kissing bugs, but the warning from other commentors seems valid. Check it out and take care of yourself Dan! It is a fun video, nice work as always.
Bit of sponsorship value for Milwaukee today Dan keep getting better mate. Hi from Australia Queensland again.
Thank you so much for another awesome informative interesting adventure! Keep on having fun and making great finds. You inspire us all Dan!!!
Definitely a lot different from the agates we find here in montana. Not just the moss agates here but the other fortification banded ones.
Love the Milwaukee bag
Must have the same luck with red drills as me, 😆 lol noticed u were using a blue one. Awesome video as always Dan 👌
I definitely want to see the process of polishing and finalizing rocks and such.that would be a great video
I have a video showing the proccess on my Ocean Picture stone: ua-cam.com/video/PBsHnUWWRdk/v-deo.html
Great video, Dan! That looked like alot of fun. You are looking extra Beardy today😁
Dan l love your shoe selection, my wife gives me grief about socks with sandels, but I still wear them.
I watched Evan Schaffer hike the entire Appalachian Trail (2190.3 miles) in the US 3 years ago, in sandals and people gave him grief as well. Haters, who cares? Dan can do any thing he wants! Shut up!!
Thoroughly enjoyed. Thank you. Happy Autumn
If your after geodes, geodefest in keokuk iowa in september is the place to go
I really appreciate when you do agate videos, and I love seeing the different forms of agates from your region of the world. I live next to lake superior (northern MN) and most of the agates i find are iron stained red and the very rare are the blue almost black agates. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.
Gonna try to get one of those grab bags since I can't afford to travel the world just yet and find them myself! I promise I will be supporting your business because I've been following you for a long long time!!! I'll even post the jewelry I make from them once I'm done and tag your page! Lol
Boyfriend was asking me what I wanted for our anniversary the 29th, may know what I want now! 😉😁
Another awesome video!
Love it Dan, I'm gonna have to pick up a grab bag, I just bought my 5 year old son a rock tumbler, and we've been having a blast with it
Some of those bugs depending on where you're at or not ready harmless I believe one of them look like a kissing bug or assassin bug and they can carry a deadly parasite
They carry Changas disease
I came here to say this. Definitely do not let those bugs crawl on or bite you!
Canada, probably nothing deadly lol
Your vids are always really interesting Dan. I love seeing the stones gems and anything else that you find. I'm sure I'll watch everything you have here. Thank you for teaching us so much. ^j^
I love geodes ahhhhh
Dan,love your channel. I know sometimes you save videos for a time ( which is OK ). so that you can edit and release every week. I would appreciate an indication of when it was taped so that we can keep them in order.
I have 10 videos at any given time in various stages of editing and readiness. They get released pretty much in order of how I shoot them and usually about a month after the fact.
i see you have you Beach work boots on !!!! LOL
Can you show some more lapidary work Dan 👍👍
You should tumble all your "scraps" (agates, garnets, jade, etc) and do a video of them (miracle of video..explain process, show beginning, then jump to end result and show each stone) . Sell them in grab mags maybe. Mixed tumbled, etc..
10:40 - the last thing you see or hear when you are on Dan's claim
you have earned my suscription
Agate the power!!!
Tip: atm the huge game Minecraft has released an update containing amethyst geodes, calcite, and dripstone. If you want some extra views use these as tags. Love your chipper way of talking to us.
you could use a whisk, a little straw broom to sweep the dirt. It would save the wear and tear on your hands..
We have a farm in northeast missouri that let folks look for geodesic dont know how much they charge to let you in but they have found some pretty big ones in there its up by Taylor missouri
Good morning Dan, thanks for the upload :)
My pleasure!
I enjoy your stone vids. Careful with those kissing bugs. They carry chagas disease.
lol @ safety socks !
Try Avon Skin So Soft. It is a moisturizer that bugs hate. It does not kill the bugs; they land, don't like and leave.
I've found things like them but I've never tried cleaning them because they look like iron.
That was a shwackload, no doubt.
You are living the dream aren't you! Lol...you funny
I would love to see you take a trip, pandemic permitting, to Herkimer, NY to go after the " diamonds" there
That broken agate face right next to that first geode the whole time was really getting me.. good thing it wasn't a venomous snake. I take it you killed your Milwaukee hammer and upgraded to a Makita? Now you just need to get Australia to open up to visitors again and go work in Lightning Ridge and use that luck of yours to find millions of dollars of black opal.
That stone at 7:35 looks like an axe head.
Dan I love your videos!
I live in southwest mo, I've always liked rocks, but I don't have an eye for valuable ones. I've found arrow heads, and the like, I also know where a cave full of quarts crystal is. Is there anything I should be looking for in my area that would have any value? Thanks for the fun
Great Vid as always. I was wondering if you could do a video on where and how one acquires a claim? I live in Colorado USA and I know there are some good places in the mountains here to find all kinds of cool minerals. Would love to find a claim here to begin my adventures. Thanks for all the videos. Dan C
10 minutes in and I'm starting to wondering what agates are and it's like Dan read my mind 🤣 Noice
I stumbled upon an amethyst/quartz deposit down a trail at the end of an old logging road. Wouldn't have found it if there wasn't a sign saying no crystal hunting without permission and there was a phone number on the sign. Random
Hello from Dan
Hello from Wales fella
hmmm so if agates are formed from silica rich liquid filling voids in rock, they must be somewhat similar to opal and potch i guess? only without the variation in colour as it's more like quartz?
I wish my kids would be in your class at the school
Hey Dan is there a creek downhill from that area? Given that agate is so durable in comparison to the weathered basalt you should be able to find some sweet examples at the valley bottom.
I am on team socks with sandals. It's totally fine.
Shoot the videos!!! Or you'll miss the find! Then publish other ones after. MAYBE get an LED strip sewn into your agate bag, then you can light them up while you put them in the bag.
Hi Dan,
I absolutely love you and your channel. It's so much fun, it's like being there!
Hey, I have an observation. The geodes you found matched the cobble around them. Is there any big cobble on that site?
I find tons of quartz geodes at my cabin in Payson Arizona. How can you identify what type of geodes you night find in a certain area? all I ever find is quartz up there
You have the best job ever
Hey Dan great vid, but tell me, if these geodes come out of lava bubbles, where is the lava? Just curious
Thanks Dan for sharing with us how the geodes are formed. Your so good at explaining. Are these just on the surface or do they go down deeper? If so perhaps there might be bigger ones further down?
Don't mind my I just bearding out over here... I nice to see yo back in top beard form :P
Yummy watermelon 🍉
