I hope the complaints about the palest shade being "too pale" doesn't cause the company to stop making it, because some of us (me included) NEED the lightest shade. Tilbury's shade 1 is absolutely perfect for me, as I am naturally pale as a ghost. The fact she makes a light bronzer makes me be able to take part in using bronzer at all!

I think they will only add because the shades skip from fair to medium, leaving room for light. It's great they made a fair shade, there aren't enough this fair.

I'm SO glad I watched this. I'm blonde and fair, but not as fair as you. (I'm also old enough to be your grandmother - lol.) I wanted to see the Fair on a live person because I have to mail order CT and I detest returns. I will definitely get the Medium and I think you'll look lovely in the Medium, also. No it is not to fair it looks very pretty. I have nc10/nw15 skin and bought the fair, it looks natural to dark looks unnatural you are only suppose to go 2 shades darker with your bronzer and dont forget your chin 😀

And you can add depth with a contour shade. I use the cream contour from her the one in the tube and then the fair bronzer and then a soft blush. Dont forget,..we, fair girls, look odd with a lot of bronzer on unless you self tan. Do you ever see those beautiful english rose girls like in the costume drama's with a lot of bronzer on?? No, nor should we, embrace your fairness,

Best review of this bronzer for very fair skin in UA-cam took me a while to find an indepth good review you have helped me decide to get the medium shade I'm more light not fair.

I had ordered the bronzer based on the advice on the website, received it and was shook at how light it is. I had contacted the company that sold me the bronzer to return it, however when I look at your review you kind of make sense with the way we are "used to bronzers being brown". Now I look forward to the winter months to use it in combination with a contour!
That is so wonderful to hear! I felt the same but once I added that contour I got the definition I wanted and then the bronzer just gives a gorgeous natural warmth :)

This bronzer is gorgeous! However, I’ll be trying her new cream bronzer in the shade Fair now because it’s so much more cool toned and I think I can easily contour my face with. Can’t wait! I love Charlotte Tilbury products!

Even though I am very pale I ordered the Medium and then I ordered the Tan shade. This one is very pretty on you. I guess it depends what you want...👍🏻

Such a helpful review - did you ever try the medium charlotte tilbury - just one step down :) Ahh you just told me - I am going to order the medium - you can always use a lighter hand with a darker pigment
I never tried the medium but the formula is so good I would still consider it when I finish the fair and just buy the refill.
I bought fair and I will be honest I was a little worried. Now that I’ve seen it in action, I think I will enjoy it because it will just give me a little wash of warmth and not muddy me up. If it really becomes an issue for me I’ll just grab a medium one too and miss them LOL! I just didn’t think the medium one would look right on me because it’s a little too dark. We need a light shade in between the fair and medium. I will probably use the contour wand and set it with the fair powder. I am probably gonna just gonna get the medium one too lol 😂 indecision May or May not be my problem 😆
A light shade would be perfect wouldn't it? Maybe they'll come out with more shades in the future....hopefully haha. I added contour underneath and loved how it turned out with the fair so it does have versatility and will never look muddy which I love the most!
It looks perfectly natural! But the yellow tone (like the TF milk chocolate soleil) doesn’t look good on me
Pixi has a bronzer more pink toned, but very nice on fair skinned people
May I ask what shade you wear in Mac foundation for reference? And how much you built it up? If you can remember. Honestly it Looks exceptionally lovely on your porcelain complexion. Thank you.
I don't wear MAC foundation but I had a powder a while back and I think it was NC15. I am a Fair Neutral shade usually. I went in on this bronzer! I used more than usual and it never went cakie or felt over done, very blended and natural looking :)
I love it. I just put it all over my face like a powder make-up base. A gente layer and doubled up on the cheeks. I'm very fair. It's so beautiful and the quality is obvious. Then, I add some darker bronzer where I want it and some blush and eye make-up, etc. It's a beautiful, classy base and the compact is magnificent. Powder your nose during the day, in public, is preferable, just to show off the compact.

I ordered this bronzer yesterday but in the shade tan because fair just looked way to light and medium just didn’t look much different. Looks beautiful on the skin though

Will it work as face compact powder for medium skin tone?
I’m not sure as its a very dry formula which is good for the bronzer but I dont think it would be suitable for face powder. I hop that helps :)

I think the medium will look better on your face I'm a red head to and bought the Charlotte tilbury in medium it makes our cheeks pop. Just so you know

Samantha Izundu I have fair too and I’m considering getting medium. They all seem to work on almost anyone. I saw one dark skin girl use medium and tan and even the medium showed up on her but she had to dig into it more. The fair I find I need to apply sooo much but I can see it so it works. I think with medium I could lightly swipe it and that would be perfect? Let me know if you get medium I need to see it on you. What shade are you In light wonder or airbrush flawless finish foundation? Anyways new subscriber👍

I'm as pale as a ghost the palest of pale and even I went for medium 2. The fair 1 looks almost yellow toned and ive been using 2 medium for a week now and I love it so so much you can hardly even tell I have bronzer on but it looks fab! I love it most because it is so similar to the filmstar bronze and glow in light med and that was my holy grail. So glad i went with shade 2, you really can build it!
ok now i really want the medium shade because I agree the fair is too yellow!
@@samanthaizundu definelty try shade 2 if you are stuck deciding I've had most of charlotte bronzers in the past her contour wand in light/med, filmstar bronze and glow light/med and her lightgasm pallete with the bronze shade in, and all those 3 shades of bronzer are darker then the new airbrush bronzer shade medium so that says how light of a colour it is. And I never thought any if these bronzer were to dark for my ghostly skin, I mean you want a bronzer to be a bronzer if your going to use one in the first place, and fair 1 looks yellow toned to me, medium 2 looks more neutral.
Btw this matches hoola lite to a tea literally just better formula and more product
I didn’t even realise how perfectly it matched until I got i out can’t tell difference. I prefer the Charlotte tilbury formula though much more buttery. I agree with everything you’re saying though I think I’m going to get the medium too🤷♀️
I feel like charlotte is much softer/less pigmented but shade colour is the same!!
