Hate saying it but did anyone notice the bruises on Samantha's kneck and on the side of her right arm. I love Samantha and watch her all the time. Dont remember seeing those bruises any other time. As for the performance, just awesome. Hope to see her show soon.
I love the Tedeschi Trucks band but I don't see any influence in her music. The TTB is going more late 60s/early 70s hippy rock right now, and Samantha, at the time of the video, was heavily into rock blues. Her guitar playing is more Mike Campbell than Derek. Derek plays claw style and gets a whole different sound going on. Just what I hear. I freaking love this song and was baffled for the longest time when she didn't record it in the studio.
