This one is by Silver Brin. It is his take on the halo OST song "Under Cover of night." It has a very mystical sound to it just like the original. But anyway enjoy the remix guys.

This is one of the first UA-cam videos I watched, back in 2009. On Christmas, that year, I got this computer. And I loved Halo. I didn't really care for the soundtrack, but then I came across this video. I was shown how good it can be, and how good people can make it. Now I feel all sad listening to this, because I remember the old Halo.

The Halo Reach music was AWESOME it was very minimalist and rocking I think.
I don't think I'll love like I did with Halo for a while. I was brought up a similar way, except with my brother and one of my friends. I played a bit with my dad and that was great. I still have fond memories of those nights on custom Halo 3 maps, playing on co-op Halo 2 and the first time I played Halo CE. I don't enjoy Halo 4 very much, it could just be me but i think it's mostly the game being very different. Yeah, life goes on. I still have the fond memories of my time spent playing Halo.

That level was my favourite level. I used to replay it for days on end. Sniping the heads off of the aliens.
halo combat evolved my favorit games of all time i played that game when it first came out and still play today :D
I like this more then the real song, but this seems better when the gunts making the "Blaauugchhaaa" when you headshot them, silenced guns going off, assault rifles going off, grenades, elites screaming, shields on a spartan making noises, Those plasma turrets going off, etc etc.

The old days of youtube. Just looking at the description gives it away. Not just because of when it was posted but the way he put subscribe.
Every time this song starts in Halo 1, no matter who I'm with, how many of us there are, what time of day it is, my friends all now instinctivly stop talking, having been hushed by ME a dozen times before at the songs opening strains.
Sometimes, "music" just isn't enough of a word.

This revamps memories of Halo 3, and Arby N the Chief, sucks they ended the series in such a sad way.

man, bungie should have brought this theme back in reach for nightfall, not the cutscene that happens after Long Night of Solace (the dogtags)

I really liked where this remix was going at first, and it's still really good, but it doesn't quite sound like the original.
The beats sort of remind me when I double mash up Cloaked in Blackness and Under Cover of Night. Sounds awesome.
But this is better than that.
