Ninety percent of the time, when I have heels on, I take them off and wear Flats. I don't ask how nice the shoes are. I ask myself, can I walk in these?
When I ask my husband, he takes a picture and texts my sister and asks her. Then she texts me back and gives me the answer. That goes with clothes too.

I was really evil one time. Hubby and I dressing up for a charity event- I came outta the bedroom in Dress #1, asked his opinion, then same w/ Dress #2, then Dress #3... then went back to Dress #1 & said "which one of the 4?" Without telling him Dress 1 & 4 were the same. Poor man's brain nearly exploded.

I am a woman. I don’t understand the changing into a million things for a night when one is already late. We asked the “does this make me look fat” etc. Question in the store. We bought it and took it home because the answer was “no”.
Yes but home it’s different lighting, mirrors ya know? 😂. Did you ever see that Seinfeld episode with Elaine buying a dress then taking it home and it’s ugly? It’s funny.
While I don’t change more than once and I’m always on time, I still feel paranoid I look gross.
I didn't either until after having kids now 90% of my wardrobe makes me look fat so I go through 3 outfits before leaving the house or go to my same trusted shirt & legging combos until I buy more. Which no need yet cause pandemic.

I've been asking the same man how I look since 1988. You'd think he'd have a better reply by now. Bless his heart, he says it without even looking at me "You look great. Let's go..." (In his defense, he is good about handing out compliments at other times--without prompting. He just doesn't seem to understand the importance of the "How do I look?" question).
I coached my 26 year old who is about to propose to his girlfriend on this matter. "Look at her. Really look at her! Then tell her she looks beautiful in (whatever it is). You'll be even better off if you tell her this before she asks."
He laughed at me. "Don't worry Mom. I've got this covered."
I'm pretty sure he doesn't.

i was feelin' decidedly alone.... I'm 54 and was only diagnosed two years ago. I thought I was losing my mind, little did I realize I was in a war with my own brain that I didn't know I was losing!.... I mean, some of the more toxic aspects of the disorder cost my my home and family, but at least NOW my whole life makes sense!!.....

Holderness family I can’t thank you enough for all of the videos. As a now 40 yr old family of five I have been doing this to songs for years as we are in the mini van going to church, school or where ever we are adventurer go too. Only because it makes the kids roll there eyes. Keep it up.

Funny video. Nice moves bro. I never answer the "loaded" questions my wife asks in these scenarios.... it never yields a good outcome lol. They can "feel" the fact that you're like... "I don't care... let's go". Every woman wants to look "unique", so I typically will say something about the uniqueness of what she's wearing... and we're out the door! :D You're a lucky guy for sure, I'm certain your wife looks great in nearly anything she wears... why does she even ask? LOL
The response to "How do I look dear?" "What do your friends think?" Cut to the chase. Very funny, but who was the dance choreographer?
I tell my male friends that the answer to this is to say "you look (gorgeous, stunning, beautiful... pick one), I love the (specific defining feature: ruffles, necklace, cut of the dress)." This makes the woman feel good about whatever item you complemented rather than insecure about the whole outfit. She will also wear that specific piece more often because she thinks you particularly like it.
@@ediem9127 You got it! Penn tells us he doesn’t care and he complimented how her boobs look, making her self conscious. Saying that you love it because the colour brings out her gorgeous eyes compliments her taste and a part of the body women don’t usually feel insecure about. Talking about a detail shows you’re paying attention because you care about how she feels about herself

This is so funny! Love it! After seeing myself in a home video a few years ago, I learned the hard way to quit asking my husband if something "makes my butt look big" because it was obvious that he didn't know what that means in wife-speak. Now I ask if it makes my butt look "bigger than it really is." And no, I still don't trust his answer...so I make him take a picture...and then I go change. 😂
