There is an interesting use of the Rutherford castle theme from the Thief 3 soundtrack in this mission. Anytime you go beyond a certain height the track starts to play what is best called the “Lady Elizabeth” theme which I still think is one of the best of any Thief tracks.
Welcome back and congrats on the 2000 subs milesone, aboutt the stuck guard on 01:14:20, what i usually do when im in doubt i force them to hunt mode to see if they can move from its position, or even engage them in combat so they have a different set of movements compared to just walking arround and then leave the area and come back after a while to see if they move or not, better if i can watch them when they do so i can see whats going on (at least in the case that they are stuck but on ground level, not stuck with their heads over the celing or situations like that when they walk ontop of objects and get pushed up) . Its not very often but when someone is stuck hard and in my path i do make the exception to the rules to try my best to unstuck them, flashbombs also can come handy.
Hi Klatremus, found your channel recently and love your videos. Enjoyed this mission a lot, good to see new authors. If you are looking for recommendations, I would suggest “A Thief’s Training”, a recent Thief Gold mission, also by a new author. Thanks!
The title and ditties in the book from 1:09:31 seem to at least partly paraphrase the incantations in the (near) final scene of Ninth Gate (a quality culture movie). Elevates the mission a bit.
I wonder if "Balkan Skull" is a reference to Bulk and Skull from Power Rangers... I guess not, but still, that's what I keep thinking. A loyal friend to Bulk and Skull. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I did have that problem with the objectives sound on fan missions some months ago, i think you need to deactivate/activate certain mods on the mod manager or do as i did after it didnt resolve permanently and clean install thief again, i installed with all the mods activated again and for some reason it worked.

Just finished watching this, absolutely loved it. Truly a 'THIEF' mission. Thank you! Again welcome back.
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it.
Happy to know you are back. Looking forward to this very much. Best to you and yours from your old stomping grounds in AZ.
Thanks! Been in AZ this weekend actually.

Pleasant track indeed. I hadn't heard it before this mission.
Glad you’re back! And holy moly this guy sure love treasure hunts and switches!
This is so massively huge. I started my taffing experience a few months ago with this, and oh what a fan mission this was.
You have not seen anything, some fms are so big and well designed they make pro games blush.
Welcome back! This was a pretty great mission. Looking forward to this run through. ✌️
Absolutely phenomenal video! Love all your videos, btw! ❤
Thank you so much!!

WB! Hope your hiatus went well.
It did, thanks!

Not versed in Power Rangers whatsoever, so that's your area, Fen.
@@klatre I only saw it as a kid, but I just remembered that.

Yes someone helped me out with a script that should have gotten it fixed. No need to reinstall, I believe.
This is awesome, do you ever live stream taffin action on Twitch?
I don't sorry. No live streaming. At least not yet.
Could you do Nest of Vipers next?
Got a couple of missions to do first, but then maybe. Nicked's missions are always tempting.
@@klatre Also, Cardinal sins is awesome.
Man I'd love to play some more Thief but the spiders.. They're too much. Wish I wasn't arachnophobic :(
Wow, it's that bad? Fortunately there are quite a few missions without them.
@@klatre I think i'm gonna try exposure therapy.
