So glad you guys are finally doing Agatha! You two are some of my favorite reactors because you have such deep knowledge with comics. After watching the entire series, it’s nice to see you guys catching the little things I missed myself. Can’t wait for the next one!
He is a resident. He was the mail delivery dude who assured Wanda's boys their mother wouldn't let anything happen she didn't want to happen. I think it was when they went out looking for Sparky. But yeah, my first watch through I thought he was prob Mephisto too, but watched some WandaVision stuff later and ... he drove the little white delivery truck. Y'all have a great vibe. I love that y'all are watching this. :)
This show is like a giant puzzle where the pieces are all over the place but when they all fill in you’ll look back & be like OMG 🤯🤯🤯. And Agatha is like an onion, LOTS of layers 😅
They relayed the antidote across because a) they were too unsteady on their feet to run and b) the writers wanted to give them all a reason to "work as a team" As for the potion and the "can a sous vide boil it in 3 minutes?" question. Answer = of course not. I think the potion is more along the lines of Potion Making in the Harry Dresden universe (Jim Butcher/The Dresden Files) where it is the "quality" each step or ingredient embodies or represents that is more important than "chemistry". It's also why they didn't bother opening the beauty products. Looked at this way the potion requires: 1. The prospect of new life (EYE = mustard seeds, an incredibly fast-growing plant) The life blood of the collective (GUT = honey, the life of the colony) 2. The concept of death (30million yr old corpse = petroleum) a substance that dispels evil (Frankincense, 3 is a magically powerful number) 3. To spark the magic (Heat it up) 4. What the problem is (hair from the poisoned) The desired solution (blood of the unpoisoned) Also, Teen's "amulet" is his handy-dandy notebook! (aka Spellbook or Grimoire) The tiny budget this show was given has led to a triumph of practical effects and design vs "throw money (CGI) at it You'll note in future eps that what little CGI they do use is to enhance the practical or is often deliberately "slightly off/cheap looking" which invokes memories of all the classic old movies where we loved the rubber faces and wobbly sets.
5:49 yeah about that… 22:19 oh interesting theory. I didn’t think that when I watched but I can see how you got there since he was the one alone by her body One thing I enjoy about reactions is that after having seen the whole season, it’s fascinating watching it back and noticing things you didn’t before. Some cool stuff throughout this season.
Fun to rewatch with you guys. Teen does have a personal item but for him it is his spell book that he is always writing in (how do you spell alewife?). It was on his hip with this outfit. Most of the women have amulets/necklaces/jewelry. (Jen has a potion bottle on a chain, Lilia and Alice both have amulets and Agatha has her brooch.)
Don't read too much into "who's Sharon?" It's just Agatha being so self-centered, as always, that she still thinks Sharon's name is Mrs. Hart 😂 This show is so good in a new way on a second watch, and I'm glad my second watch gets to be with you guys 😁 With the questions you're asking, you will continue to love the show.
When you’ve finished the series, to avoid spoilers don’t do it beforehand, but watch some of the behind the scenes and costume designing details. Not only are the sets actually practically made, but there’s a lot of specific clues and details woven into the clothing designs of each character. Including teen. The amount of work and attention to details the cast and crew have put together deserves awards. Kathryn Hahn deserves special recognition for the acting choices she makes throughout the show. Went into this thinking it’ll be as disappointing and hollow as secret invasion, and came out of it actually enjoying it way more than wandavision. It may not be everyone’s cup of tea, but I’m so glad they decided to go their own unique way in their story telling. Can’t wait for future reactions! Still 6 eps to go 😭
@ right!! Not only have they been engaging to watch, but they leave you feeling personally satisfied with the time they gave you. We can thank the actors, but a lot of that goes to all the behind the scene crew who put so much love, sweat and tears into giving us a story we can hold on to!
a lot of people forget that Agatha was trapped in wandas spell for 3 years and has litterly JUST broken out- like she did in epi2 with the "car" insisting on calling Sharon Mrs Heart may be because she been calling her that for so long " who is share" Agatha doesn't know a sharon she knows Mrs Hearth
35:32 The guy in the library is a resident of West View, he's the mailman from WandaVision, Dennis the mailman. I can't wait to see your next reaction. These episodes progressively get better. Buckle up!
Enjoyed your reaction/discussion. Looking forward to the next one. Always hesitant to comment/correct some of your thoughts to avoid spoilers but if your interested see below for a POSSIBLE SPOILER... x x x x x x The man in the bookstore commenting on the fire was the mailman in WandaVision.
The strange man was the mail man in town. I took that scene to be just part of Agatha’s skewed perspective because of the hex on her more than anything else. So I think a part of her knows the Darkhold and Wanda are “gone” (whatever that means for Wanda)
I love the vibe of that doctor. He gives me real H.H. Holmes vibes, even though I know Holmes would have been a bit earlier, history-wise. And I appreciated the looming figure of Death in Lilia's hallucination more this time, too; I think I got a better look at it on this rewatch (maybe my settings were too dark before). Basically, I respect the heck out of what this show was able to do.
So the library guy was a resident/townsperson from WandaVision - the delivery guy. I mean theorize away, but you're basing it rn on a premise just not remembering that he was in almost every ep of WandaVis.
The face in the library was the "mail deliverer" from WandaVision.

He's in episode 2 and the finale of WandaVision too.

I thought the guy at the book shelf was the " don't shoot the messenger " mailman in WandaVision
When Sharon was hallucinating about Wanda and her husband she was talking about the first episode of Wandavision when her husband was choking
Folks have commented elsewhere that the guy in the library was the mail guy/messenger from Wandavision.
Thanks, Julia! Thanks, Trent! 🧙♀
Ah yes, “who’s Sharon ?” Generational line
Running the potion to Sharon would have risked spilling it. Handing it across everyone involved seems a better option.
Sharon's hair wasn't in the potion. It wouldn't work for her. She also had a double dose of the poison.
I can't wait to your reactions to the rest of the series! Especially the last two!!
Glad you doing these pretty quickly. I would hate for these to be spoiled for you. Its a great show with great surprises! I'm here for it.
When you get to the end of this, rewatch the series. It puts a whole new light on a lot of the dialog and what happens.
“Who’s Sharon?”
Yeah she’s just being ignorant. Remember she only knew Sharon as Mrs. Hart in Wandavision and nothing else. Just a dark joke lol.
Notice that Alice, the Protection Witch" is the last to go into the oven.
And Jen was the first.
5:49 yeah about that…

Bless Sharon that sweet innocent heart

Power = Agency, and Agatha feels that she needs agency.
i love you two reacting and your thoughts always :)

Remember that Jennifer has been bound for one hundred years. The "doctor" said, "You inconvenient woman."
Even just watching this reaction I'm seeing so much I missed the first time...can't wait to do a full binge rewatch

Agatha All Along and Loki are some of the best TV/cinema I've enjoyed in the last 10 years 😊

The man in the bookstore commenting on the fire was the mailman in WandaVision.
When the potion was being brewed, did they get one of Sharon's hair? How many glasses did Sharon drink? Did she need multiple doses of the antidote?
I think the hair was the missing part.
She drank two glasses of the potion, but only one glass of the cure 😢
@@deborahjanes3706 Her hair was not in it, so it doesn't how much potion she drank.
The strange man was the mail man in town. I took that scene to be just part of Agatha’s skewed perspective because of the hex on her more than anything else. So I think a part of her knows the Darkhold and Wanda are “gone” (whatever that means for Wanda)
An inconvenient woman, not an impractical woman. The doctor called her an inconvenient woman.
I love the vibe of that doctor. He gives me real H.H. Holmes vibes, even though I know Holmes would have been a bit earlier, history-wise.

So... I hear you guys will have all episodes dropped by the end of this coming long weekend 😋🫢

Oh, Rio was in this one. You just can't see it before ep7.
Hello there
Pay attention to Lilia's "Divinatory Tourette's."
