my friend, could you give me plans in PDF, I am from Argentina and here there is nothing of those instruments and I want to make one for myself since I have been playing the simple steel guitar for 35 years and my dream is to have one with pedals, I thank you for beforehand
Your driving me nuts. Now I want to build a pedal steel in the worst way. Did you ever list all your measurements somewhere? The pacman mouth looks like 45 deg but thats just a guess. Great work mate.
Hi , JR i had the same problem , it depend what is your equipment/tools , but i already build one , and i am on autocad to design and build another one , so if you are interested , let me know
@shebeeable Hi Ann Thank you for your interest in pedal steel, I do need to know what strings are connected to the pedals, counting the strings from farthest away is string one to six closest to you, Ray
Hi Sheila, did you ever get that tuning chart for your Harlin Brothers Multi Cord. I played one as a child and I still have the instrument. I also have a co-pedant (tuning chart) for the Multi Cord.. Most Harlin Brothers guitars had 4 pedals.. not sure what a two pedal would be. Does it have only two cross bars on the changer or 4 ?
I'm trying to maintain my very busted pedal steel. My question, on the changer the holes for the fingers are M3.5 (3.5mm). What would happen if I redrilled M4 (4mm) on the changer. I'm asking because some holes don't let the pull rod slide freelly and smooth as should be. The changer is very busted. Is this sollution viable?
