Came across your video today Dr. Aamer. Thankyou for sharing this wonderfully informative video. I suffer from PPMS and am extremely disabled. My left side is as good as paralyzed and my right side is grtting weak to the point that my right leg doesnt lift properly. I work in a very stressful environment. Just wanted to know if its possible to recover balance at this stage with exercise. Also how can i deal with depression and mood swings. Thanks.
Hi Mala, Thanks for the comment. Balance can definitely be worked on by specific proprioceptive exercises and will improve given enough time for adaptations to take place. Speak to your clinician for more information (and exercise referral). Depression and mood swings - try to find out the underlying causes, patterns of when it happens etc. and then try to target those. You may need counselling, and/or motivational interviewing, cognitive behavuoural therapy. Again, a clinician will be best placed to advise based on your specific circumstances. Keep positive and always have hope that with hardship will come ease.
This video puts every single doubt about MS in a nutshell:) Thanks for the time taken to describe everything about MS so clearly.
Thanks very much for Sheela for taking the time to leave this comment. I am pleased it was useful. All the best.
Perfection is the best word to describe your explanation and pathophysiology of MS.
Thank you very very much Aamer!

No problem. Search for McCardle, Katch and Katch. Also, reference 11 in description above is very useful.
