True! There are actually a couple things in the dev options I’d do to make this phone better, buuuut I don’t know that the average buyer of this phone would know/want to make those changes 😞
@Christopher Adams Go to the about section of your phone and where it says build number, tap it seven times (it could be three times for older versions of android.) Then the developer options will be enabled and somewhere in settings, a new entry for developer options will appear. Somewhere in those options will be an option to force apps onto sd card.

I got it from metro 48 bucks and first month included ..it works amazyng can't go wrong...metro coverage is difficult outside the city like in the wooded areas .
When you mentioned about hot being able to move apps to the SD card , there's a function near the bottom of the developer options which is called "force allow apps on external" which makes it so any application you've downloaded can be transferred to the SD card
LG was still about to block apps from moving even if u use this development options. I tried it. Alcatel, LG have for some reason have blocked any way to move any apps to SD card. The 32 GB ROM is not enough for K51 . Half of internal storage is used on system. By the time u download 3 or 4 large social apps and 3 of the better games the sixteen ROM left will be using a lot of it. Want be able to put many of your personal apps on phone.
Great review 👍. I'm going to T-mobile and look at this to see if it would be a good replacement for my K20+ but I'm just not sure I'll be getting much more with this K51.

So if I use my old number cuz I switched from boost to at&t and that didn't go well and I wanted to know if I re-enter my old number into boost it would still give me problems like I already had or would I need to have a new number? To not have the problems
Is the K51 a decent choice for $150? T-Mobile is offering three months of their monthly prepaid service and the K51 for the selected price tag. Or should I wait for the Moto E 2020 to be released on T-Mobile and buy that for $80-100?
I personally would not buy this phone for $150. There are other options (A series Samsung phones, Motorola phones like you said too) that are better values with higher specs, more storage, better cameras and more.
I font know if you got answer already, but I just came from another review and they said it wasnt but I would double check with a google search just in case
bro I need ur guidance I am living in India and recently in my region the one year old Samsung a80 is available for a price exactly the same Of a31.I m totally confused.should I go for it
@@blessingsamuel2901 it depends on what you want from your phone. Try watching C4etech's review of the Samsung A80 and A31. However, @Techdaily especially recommends that people get the A31, since it appears to be the best value for the money. Mind you he is talking about the model with 6gb of RAM and 128gb of Storage.
Increase the price up to $150 Add LG G6's Screen but only on HD resolution with a ppi of 315 display gets a bump up to 6-inches with slim bezels all around and a U shaped notch at the top. Add an SD460 with 3/4GBRAM and 64GB ROM. 1 main 1 wide camera set up. Decent speakers and a finger print scanner. 4250mah batter with 15wats charging. And you got yourself the best entry level handset. (Note: The display will be your favorite with this one since it's the same display tech as the G6) if LG were to make this, it would be KILLER
I agree, I just got this phone today with my Xfinity mobile carrier for $199 but it’s shipping free and arriving in 2 days. Yeah you know it's funny just cuz this phone is a hundred bucks everybody treats it like they're doing it a favor by reviewing it Knowing damn well if we go back five years this phone would have probably cost you $1,000. It's like no matter how good or better things get for consumers to purchase they still want more. Everything on this phone is excellent when you're holding it feels like you're holding up thousand-dollar phone it doesn't feel cheap at all the screen looks great the pictures shockingly are amazing and it's just fast enough for anything you want to do gaming surfing the web. So for whoever paid $900 for the LG k 60 which is supposed to be the flagship phone how smarter are you that lgk51 one could do exactly what that $900 phone could do.

Ok so what I'm gathering from this is the Helio p25 is the same as the p22 and doesn't offer much more. The LG premier pro plus gets a geekbench score of ~140 single and ~480 multi. And an antutu score of between 80k and 90k with 1.8 gigs of RAM. The cameras better be a lot better for LG to consider selling this or the reflect for anything over $100 when all their performance is not noticably better than the $80 LG premier pro plus. But I get there's the whole it looks better thing but who has a naked phone?
Well well wade , LG steeping up their game , but lg I think needs to start actually sending actually updates to their phones sigh , btw I saw that they also released a new lg phone call the velvet , snap 765 chipset and 6.8 inch screen, I would love if u could maybe get it and review it cause i really dont understand, anyways really nice video bro , keep it up man👌👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
@Pamela Bailey Hi, if you don't mind how were you able to get the phone for $1 plus tax? I received a deal from boost for this phone, but it's not for $1.
Yes, but it depends if you're buying online that's unlocked. For example, let's say you purchase a Boost Mobile variant, that mean it will ONLY work for Boost Mobile services, if you buy the Metro by T-Mobile variant, it will ONLY work for either Metro or T-Mobile. 😉👌🏾
It's between $89 to $150, depending where you're getting this phone from like a carrier or a different store though it might be higher than the price mentioned. 😉👌🏾
We got this for my 3 year old niece to ply with.. she abused it hard. Then, my mom used it a year.. then it sat in my drawer for a year. I recently pulled it and did a factory reset Like 8 updates later it’s on Android 12 and works alright. It’s slow.. everything lags. The input lag is so bad I’d not be able to daily drive it. But.. makes a good banger to throw your sim in when you’re going out hiking or something. Only thing I really hate about it is the aspect ratio.. it’s got that super tall Asian style tall screen.. I do not like that. I want the stubby iPhone screen lol. And we got it at t mobile for like $60 at launch. My sister worked at metro though so she got a discount I’m sure.

So if I use my old number cuz I switched from boost to at&t and that didn't go well and I wanted to know if I re-enter my old number into boost it would still give me problems like I already had or would I need to have a new number? To not have the problems
What u get with the phone lg k51
Hey! Love your vids! Keep up the good work
Thank you! So glad you like them! 😊
I just got this phone for FREE at Metro by T-Mobile. Boost also has it for FREE. When you switch your number to them. Love my new LGk51
I just need to know where the darn screen mirror button is because the screen broke
How to fix slow charging on lgk51
Would this phone be recommended for a kid
Is the K51 a decent choice for $150? T-Mobile is offering three months of their monthly prepaid service and the K51 for the selected price tag. Or should I wait for the Moto E 2020 to be released on T-Mobile and buy that for $80-100?
I personally would not buy this phone for $150. There are other options (A series Samsung phones, Motorola phones like you said too) that are better values with higher specs, more storage, better cameras and more.
@@TechDaily ok, thank you dude! I'll definitely consider the other options. Is the Samsung A11 a decent phone for $150?
@@typhoon_8086 it's a decent phone with a good battery and processor better than k51
I paid 110 and after seeing the title of this video im angry
TechDaily is this phone NFC compatible ? let me know bro thanks your vids are thorough.
I font know if you got answer already, but I just came from another review and they said it wasnt but I would double check with a google search just in case
bro I need ur guidance
I am living in India and recently in my region the one year old Samsung a80 is available for a price exactly the same Of a31.I m totally confused.should I go for it
The A80 is a totally better phone than the A31 so go for it.
@fake shadow noo it's a brand new product from a trusted seller
@@blessingsamuel2901 it depends on what you want from your phone. Try watching C4etech's review of the Samsung A80 and A31. However, @Techdaily especially recommends that people get the A31, since it appears to be the best value for the money. Mind you he is talking about the model with 6gb of RAM and 128gb of Storage.
Nice job on the video... For $90 you can't go wrong with this phone.
I think you get an instant rebate and get this phone for $129 at Metro.
Increase the price up to $150
Add LG G6's Screen but only on HD resolution with a ppi of 315
display gets a bump up to 6-inches with slim bezels all around and a U shaped notch at the top.
I'm on boost mobile I got the K51 and I got mine for like 77 and some change
Good for you so f****** bragging about a prepaid phone
@@antoinettefarley4412
I'm not bragging man I got mine in the website bro it's was a discount
I agree, I just got this phone today with my Xfinity mobile carrier for $199 but it’s shipping free and arriving in 2 days. I suppose I’m paying for hassles free shipping (no COVID-19 face mask wearing which I hate) and free shipping? Oh, and I’m paying on installment plan (interest?). Thanks for a great video!
*shopping
I got mine from xfinity too at the same price arriving tomorrow. I'm beginning to think I made a mistake and will send it back.
What is the third button on the left side of the phone for!?!?!?
google assistant
This phone is good just got mine today
Does it lag or is it a relatively smooth experience?
Its not laggy at all its good for the price
@@zaxm3627 do you think it's worth $150? Or should I buy the Moto E 2020 with better specs but one less camera and RAM for $80-$100. I buy my phones on Prepaid from T-Mobile
What about the camera??
@@denissegrullon449 It's pretty decent, although it's not gonna have a flagship quality camera, again, just a decent quality camera that'll take good and/or acceptable photos and videos. 😉👌🏾
What is boost mobile, T-mobile. I am unable to understand that. Can you explain ?
Boost Mobile is the Prepaid version of Sprint, however, Dish Network is trying to buy it from T-Mobile. T-Mobile is one of 3 major phone networks/Carriers in the U.S. T-Mobile also bought out Sprint and is selling it's prepaid networks off to Dish Networks
Nice presentation bro!
😭😭😭 i didn't find a cover for my k51
Congrats 108k!
Thank you so much 😀
TechDaily no problem
I paid mines for 86 from metro basically i really paid 60 for the plan 26 for phone .....but it do be messing up a lot
I actually like this phone i bought it like 2 days i was gonna get the samsung a20 but you had to pay more like the activation so i when ahead and got the LG k51 for 89 dollars and right now im liking the new phone there is not any problems with the phone i tried out some games like dragon ball legends that runs really good on this phone 89 dollars is really worth getting this phone but 100 dollars or 200 dollars not worth it
Could have gone for the a20
unknown person yeah but I had to pay about almost 200dollars
Does the weight of this phone feel heavy? Had a Stylo 5 for a month, but the thing was a boat anchor, so sent it down the road.
Not as much to me, I have this device also. 😁👌🏾
Well well wade , LG steeping up their game , but lg I think needs to start actually sending actually updates to their phones sigh , btw I saw that they also released a new lg phone call the velvet , snap 765 chipset and 6.8 inch screen, I would love if u could maybe get it and review it cause i really dont understand, anyways really nice video bro , keep it up man👌👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Boost mobile website would sell me one $68. The store wanted $180. They told me there was no way the website was correct.
Man that's some BS, for real LOL! 😂😏😰
Thank you for this review! Boost is offering this to me for $1.00 plus tax! After this review, I am taking them up on the offer. :D
@Pamela Bailey Hi, if you don't mind how were you able to get the phone for $1 plus tax? I received a deal from boost for this phone, but it's not for $1.
@@mdesign158 Tbh, I have no clue. They offered it, so I took it.
Can this phone be unlocked for any carrier?
Yes, but it depends if you're buying online that's unlocked. For example, let's say you purchase a Boost Mobile variant, that mean it will ONLY work for Boost Mobile services, if you buy the Metro by T-Mobile variant, it will ONLY work for either Metro or T-Mobile. 😉👌🏾
How mach is this thone
It's between $89 to $150, depending where you're getting this phone from like a carrier or a different store though it might be higher than the price mentioned. 😉👌🏾
I just got this phone from metro 2 for $166 and me and my wife so far its pretty great i would say
i think the galaxy a01 is a better choice especially when it comes to the speed . the sd 439 does a better job
Yee
Going to be doing a video comparing them in a couple days 👍
I bought this phone for over 200 and its so worth it:) its the best phone ive ever had and I really enjoy using it.
Huh since lg has shut down my k51 is acting up terribly I might get the a51 or the a52 from Samsung or just a full on galaxy s21 plus
@@samuelhere41 just go full flagship
Do a battery test with the A11, A51, A71 the S20 Ultra snapdragon version and this LG K51
is this phone compatible with hearing aids
Not something that I've heard of before, it should be I'm guessing. 🤔
Does this phone have the Android Pie emojis?
Just got it for less than 13, that is THIRTEEN dollars w/ xfinity mobile!!! I will say it was a bit of a shock coming from a moto g7 but ill adjust!
What was the biggest shock? I have a moto g7 and I mostly hate it so I suspect I would love the LG as I have in the past.
You can get it free at Tmobile. July 15, 2020
Internal storage on my LGk51 is only 30gb! The previous model works way better! I'm only rocking with Samsung from now on!
We got this for my 3 year old niece to ply with.. she abused it hard. Then, my mom used it a year.. then it sat in my drawer for a year. I recently pulled it and did a factory reset
Like 8 updates later it’s on Android 12 and works alright. It’s slow.. everything lags.
Honestly this is a good starter phone
Its not bad for your first phone
Yeah, but I've owned over 10 touch screen phones LOL! I'mma be getting this phone next from eBay coming in a couple days. 😉👌🏾
I got mine yesterday
Got it from metro
Hi!
How much did you pay?
@@kmarquez6362 It should probably be like $149 or lower (depending if he/she has switched over to a different carrier). But I ordered mines from eBay for only $110, which is coming 2 days away. 😉👌🏾
Warning, this phone is not built to last, it’s good for a month and then it starts lagging and bright spots on the screen start appearing, I had it for 5 months but then I got an IPhone 11, don’t get this phone unless you want to use it for only 1-2 months. If your looking for a temporary phone, this is a good buy.
so almost 3 min in and still going on about the price.... going to start the review? just an update its $80 on Boost now
It's a great starter phone. I added a line to my service and my roommate got this phone for free. It has amazing features but still surprisingly not better than the LG Q7+ which is my phone. Even though it's bigger. Still a great phone though. Metro pcs has amazing deals. The biggest drawback? you can't tap to pay with this phone
I bought this phone from boost I love it but I am having to change companies because of service I moved out of range. Long story short she know of. Long story short I'm trying to find out how to unlock this phone Boost won't do it
I sell these like hotcakes, especially since now you can activate on the boost advanced network which is (t-mobile) while still under boost
As a reseller or you work at a mobile store?
I hear boost advanced service is shit I want to k51 but I'm get g7 supra cricket that will piss on the k51 and stylo 6 period
finally a western phone thats not expensive as fuck every other phone in this price range ive looked at dead ass was in chinese or hindi
Just got this yesterday
If you add a new line to T-Mobile you can get the phone for free
lies 🙄🤔💯

The LG K 51 phone it's not for every mother f****** body
@@antoinettefarley4412 Why you mad LOL?! 😂😂😂
Getting it through tmo while it's not my first choice in phone, it'll probably do in a pinch.
man cool info
Got the phone its fine but for some reason on Facebook Instagram sometimes youtube it slows the video and the audio is fine any ideas?
In my phone its extremely buggy
Sighs - throw. The - phøñè
Buy it at boost mobile it was 100 if its your first time
I am not at all happy with this phone. It is my fourth phone and I cannot follow the directions and I cannot get anywhere on my phone. It is driving me insane. Why don't you have the same back home and the memory that you have at the bottom of the screen.? I find it impossible to get anywhere by swiping. I don't know how many times I have followed the directions to get my contacts matched up to my phone and it goes back after a few tries. That's not the only thing there's so many things that are wrong with this phone that I'm about ready to smash it
Verizon is asking $168 for the phone but with my upgrade I was able to get the phone for $68
Ironically. People will buy a $900 phone that breaks easily against a $100 phone that can survive a nuke. Logic.
