+thepoultrypeople do you know which one I have, I feel like it had a slightly suggestive name. The suspension is hard plastic and the main crossbar is brown?
sounds like the stiffy mate, wooden plates and metal trucks? if you upload a pic to google+ be able to tell you for sure
+thepoultrypeople plastic, deffo the stiffy lol. I'll put a quick vid up.
+bigfil1981 Ahh, actually it's a browser, stiffy was what I wanted but no where sold them in Devon.
Michael... Was that competition in Salisbury on May 7th 1995/96 in the main car park in Salisbury? If it was then I was also there man!! That's too funny. It is one of my best memories from when I was about 10/11. I also had a comp board at the time. Then got a pro, then pro freestyle, then skinner. I don't have any of my original boards but I do collect them now and I own 11 or 12 boards in total. I have all the really old ones... even with the pink "S" and the one with the green "S".
I remember I got this on a VHS tape that came in the box with my first snakeboard when I was 13. I haven't seen this video for 25 years!
And I just got my badboy comp board with the straps back out and I'm getting confident again on it. I probably look like a nob on it at my age but I couldn't give a shit because I'm having too much fun tbh.
Same. It was my best Christmas lol. I still have my snake board and the VHS
Because of you I'm going to get back on mine
@@omlet1231 Do it man. Ive been back on mine fir the last 5 simmers bow and I've even bought a load more different snakeboards models that people were selling. I love it.
Hatte ich damals auch. Total Geil die Dinger
So cool!
Nice one !
Thanks for creating the snakeboard you have made a lot of people enjoy 1000’s of unique moments.True unsung hero!
Omg this reminds me of my childhood! Where can I buy one now? I can’t seem to find it
Ebay is a good place to find an old board if youre looking for an original Snakeboard brand, If you search also on the web for PivoBoard and streetboard you can find Dimension and a few others selling the latest offerings.
9:36 Does anyone know the title and the artist? Many thanks.
I still ride my snakeboard
Nice, which model? have you tried freeline/drift skates?
@@thepoultrypeople I use the Stiffy pro free style. There is a video on my channel of me using it. It's like one of the first uploads I made.
Can anyone remember another Snakeboard video back in the 90's?
Had proper videos parts from pros like Ingo/Kelly Dean, with music from Voodoo Glow Skulls etc.
Trying to find it but can't.
Part number 2, okay?
I'm trying to find all the old snakeboard videos around the time of hellburger, natural disaster etc , does anyone remember any names ?, I'm looking for one in particular that had alot of downhill skating in it but can't remember the name , any ideas ?
"Easy, I'm D, from Snakeboard. I like boogie boarding...................and the House of Pain"
i had the pro freestyle too
Its not about beating it, its about the ride. You still rolling?
Michael... Any chance you could upload the vid of Salisbury?
Also used to watch this daily, anyone know the name of the tune at 9.35??
Just asked the same question. :)

Any one know where I can get hold of snake boards now a days? The rubber shocks on mine are completely gone.
matt ford you talking about the rubber shocks on the skinner and the stiffy?
thepoultrypeople yes I am
matt ford might be your lucky day but dont get your hopes too up, ill need to go and have a dig in the manshed but i seem to remember a bag of bits/trucks floating around with them
thepoultrypeople mate you might just be a life saver! I was starting to think I was going to have to give up the snake board!
matt ford did you watch the video from the top of the mancave m8 ;)
it didnt stick i guess
Does anybody know where i can get a snakeboard?
It'll have to be ebay for the original boards. For a modern board look up Dragan Boards. They have a youtube channel.
