From the looks of it, the JP boys are willing to learn English to communicate w/ their global fans and those who can't speak Japanese. How is the Tempus boys not being good at Japanese a "tragedy"? Japanese is a difficult language to learn, even Japanese themselves don't memorize all 2K Kanji characters required for fluency. It's not as if their senpais or the JP fans require them to learn Japanese in the first place anyway. Plus Axel's Japanese is pretty much native level, Vesper is brushing up from the Japanese he studied from college (he used to do Japanese learning streams by translating his senpais' tweets w/o using a translator), Flayon and Hakka occasionally do Japanese Duolingo streams, Altare, Dez, and Shinri can pick up some Japanese and try to use them to communicate w/ their senpais (though the senpais never really respond to them in Japanese in return), not sure abt Bettel. Even Temma is willing to teach the Tempus Japanese if they're interested. In short, Holostars (both JP and EN) are doing their best to communicate as much as they can and learn from each other. Honestly, learning Japanese just by watching anime won't work either. Immersion is the best way to learn any language imo.

Altare has abt 3-4 JP girls who are regulars on his streams. There's also a few JP girls on Vesper's streams too. Quite a lot on Axel's streams (esp. when he does Japanese-only streams). None on Dez (time zones/language barrier), Flay has quite a lot of JP fangirls on Twitter (based on the fanart surge on the JP side of him). Dunno abt Betsy or Shinri. Bottom line is, Tempus boys do have JP fans. As Izuru said in the video, the language barrier + not enough official merch are probably the main reasons why the EN boys don't have as much JP fans, or that they're rarely seen in Japan. And also seeing that Hakkito girl irl made Izuru happy, shows how much he supports the EN boys as much as he supports his fellow boys too.

I don't think he and Bettel met during the arc b/c Bettel joined in a little late and time zones suck😖

They do pop-ups at anime conventions around the U.S. I knew abt them b/c I bought a plushie for my nephew from them when I went to my local anime con last year.
I was just on twitter and there was a hakka fan who appeared at the expo with a plushie of Hakka, well she also has a hakka themed bag, with how Izuru described the bag it looks similar to hers, she used the hakka coasters you could get at the expo on the clear part of her bag, could it have been her bag Izuru saw?
