Though she may not have always won the competition, she is what is known as "the peoples' champ". She has that certain "swag" , 'X-factor", 'it" that relates to the masses and makes them feel that her successes are their successes. It is better than winning 1st place or gold. She is the type of athlete that makes you forget who placed ahead of her.
This Girl Had ALTITUDE 4 DAYZ!!! SO MUCH BETTER THAN SOME OF THESE GYMNAST 🤸🏽♂️ TODAY!!! NO-1 COULD EVER REPEAT WHAT SHE DID IN THESE GAMES!! NOBODY!! She EARNED THAT NAME “AWESOME DAWSOME”!!!👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽🥰🥰🥰HER!!!!!
My favorite and my role model!!!But instead my grandparents sent me to dancing school, my grandfather said it was too dangerous, and i was very upset about that
They can be done now gymnast seem to focus on single difficulty tumbling elements but I truly think someone should to connected tumbling runs like her cause the connection would be very well rewarded
longbranch11207 She did. This was the same music and mostly the same choreography as she did in Atlanta. She had upgraded her tumbling so she did a double layout on the first run, a different second pass and a full-in at the end.
Jackie M Jackie M Watch her at the 1992 Phar Mor competition. Her Floor and beam was my favorite there. Another favorite floor routine 1992 Dodge Championship it is different from the Phar Mor and a perfect 10
back when floor exercise was more than just power tumbling. she's still an icon for usa gymnastics.

Why I fell in Love with the sport of Gymnastics!!! 2021 and still watching...
damn she was a beast, this performance would have won her a gold medal in 2015
No. It wouldn't have come close to top 16
My favorite and my role model!!!But instead my grandparents sent me to dancing school, my grandfather said it was too dangerous, and i was very upset about that
Now that was awesome!!
I admire her so much!!
Awesome Dawesome!!
She's That
I wish the FIG would encourage such double passes again.

Would’ve beaten Gogean for the World Championship EFs that year with this performance
Icon
can someone tell me why she didn't use this routine at the 96 games?

She also had bad ankle problems so her coach wanted her to have 3 passes but with 10.0 SV
I prefer the 1996 routine where she did the pass rearrangement, and the dance was more crisp in the 1996 routine
@@TheTimo5494WoW You sound like you love her Gymnastics a little more than me, and I'm not used to that!!! Lol
W.O.W! and I thought Raisman's gold medal was good at the olympics...
