Strongly agree about how great the trukk kit is. Its not the best looking kit but its a dream to kit bash with. The more recent ork vehicles where very disappointing in that aspect.
Yeah, I've managed to do a few things with them but they're not easy. They look great for the most part but I think they're just a bit lazy. No axle, just nubs to attach the wheels to, no detail underneath, just blank spaces or hollows, zero options on the build 😥
Nice collection you have there. Ace converting/kit bashing. Now I’m thinking I may have to check out the Toy Section. Maybe a Bulldozer scrap bash. Hard to find the right scale. Love Da’ battle wagon traxx on yer trukk.
Thanks bud, it can be like that at times. I tend to mix it up between vehicles and infantry, just chipping away (tend to despise batch painting) then when I get tired of them I'll switch it up and do some marines. But if I'm not feeling in the mood for any modelling it's best to not do any, otherwise burn out awaits. It's a hobby at the end of the day, and it's meant to be fun 😁 All the best bud 😊🙏
Terrain's a good option too. Nothing too mentally draining and quick, plus it gives the boyz something to stand around. The Drunken Ork has a video on painting up vehicles quick and Sonic Sledgehammer Studio has a similar fast and effective one for 'Sector Mechanicus and Necromunda' scenery that really fits a rusty ork aesthetic. I've been using it for my own stuff. Just search the terms above. Good painting!
I'm going to give it a try, it'll be more work I reckon but well worth a try. Maybe not on the next few vids though, just cause I've already got a few under way 👍
Haha, yeah that's right thanks man, it's been sitting there awaiting a tap over the line since back then. I get round to everything......... eventually 😊👍
All your Trukks look spot on mate, the Taurox (spelling?🤪) is probably my favourite though. I think a bit of actual video footage of you Mekkin stuff would be great 👍🏼
Looks awesome! How did you do the rear portion where the tracks are connected, would love to get some inspiration how to change my ork trukk into a half-track.
With that one I built a boxed section below the Hull to house the 3 main axels for the track running gear, but to be honest it was totally unnecessary. Any way you can get them stuck on the side is fine by me and I could have saved myself a lot of effort 😊🤷🏻♂️
Nice plasticard work it really disappears into model after you've got you overall base coating on. Of your four Trukks, It's a tough call. I actually have a Rockgrinder and some Taurox bits/kits kicking around that putter about with every now and then to orky up, to go along with my Ridgerunner Squig Buggy. If I had to pick one it would probably be the Goliath. I am not a huge fan of the doubled-up back tires, but I like it better than the treads on the back of the Taurox--they are nice tank treads, but I think I would like the Battlewagon one's better, for the same reason you didn't go with half each track track on the newest Trukk. The truck-bed cap on the Goliath (made from elevated bed bits) in particular looks cool, along with all the plasticard detailing on the side panels, and toothy dags on the fenders.
I believe they're called flat back pearls and are used for nail art and craft stuff. I'm sure mine were about 1.8mm but they come in loads of different sizes and colours 😊👍

Here’s a fun idea to try:
Ork traction cities
Haha, maybe one day, it'd be a proper beast 😅👍
@@TheDrunkenOrk have you ever contacted Shy from Adeptus Ridiculous? She’s a major Ork fangirl and it would be sweet to see a collab between you.
All 4 of those trukks look bloody awesome mate! Hard to choose a fave. So I won't.
Look forward tp facing one of or some of them soon. 😀
Haha, cheers Stevo. I'm sure they'll have their work cut out against your tankbustas 🤣👍
Nice one, the ork trukk kit's easliest the most versatile kit GW currently make and anything you do with them looks orky - everyone's a winner 🤣
Yeah, it's a cracker isn't it 😊👍
Proppa orky!
🤟🤪

Cheers Erik, yeah those tracks are awesome 😁👍
Amazing models

That is one awesome trukk, sir!
Thanks very much Widow 😊🙏
Pure genius mate!
😊🙏
Great wOrk!
Always like your stuff!
Cheer bud 😁🙏
NEW TRUKK!!!!
😊👍
Another great conversion. Still trying to decide which is my favourite.
Thanks very much bud 😊🙏
I've got to say the ork trukks are my favorite ork vehicles coming from my favorite faction in 40K.
The trukks, like the orks themselves, are incredibly versatile from a modelling perspective 😊👍
@@TheDrunkenOrk I also like killa kanz
And the squigs that the beast snaggas use.
Brilliant stuff mate, I probably like the Goliath most
Cheers Dan, I do like the Goliath too mind 🤔👍
4:55 The bit at the top is from the front of the Taurox.
👍
It’s hard to choose there all amazing
Thanks very much mate 😁👍
Cracking result. Have to confess I am struggling to get motivated to paint my 40K Orks up.👍😉

Love the weathering ya put on em all. I cant imagine an ork vehicle what was clean!
Haha definitely, gotta love them mucky trukkers 😝👍
I like the WETHIS "Soft top" truck. I'm always in favor of anything scratch built.
It would be interesting to see the bitz you're picking through.
Thanks very much 😊🙏
Id love to see a live stream... get an idea , get the bits out and knock something cool out in an hour or two :)
I think this is definitely a possibility, I can at least give it a try at some point in the (hopefully) near future😊
Love it!
😁👍
Would love to see your process in video form!

@@TheDrunkenOrk I'll be looking out for it!
I remember you working on this last year, thought it was done, glad to see it finished. It is a great piece mate. :)

Cheers man, looks like the 'videoing' is on the cards bud 😁👍
The first time I saw the taurox, I thought “that’s not an IG vehicle, that’s an ork vehicle!”
I KNOW RIGHT!!!!! Damn guardsman stealing our deliveries 😠

The half dome things, what size? 4mm?
I think they were 1.5mm or 1.8mm, definitely no bigger 👍
@@TheDrunkenOrk thank you

So awesome....
I'd say the soft top-Trukk could go as a freebooters trukk
I think that's what I'd run it as 👍
A tank with an exposed engine?
Yeah boy, welcome to orks ya git 🤟🤪
What are the glass beads you use for rivets called
