'If you don't see it in practice you are not going to see it in the game' -CP.....They don't run in the game because they don't do it in practice...or they aren't committed to running the ball in practice. They don't even have any creativity in the run game....The little running they do is just a little show to get critics off the HC back. They are not and have never been committed to running the ball, very sad....Maybe next year it will be different. I wonder what the difference in personnel will be next year when they actually run the ball.
Coming off the wrong loss to copy & paste that message. Can't run the ball in a game when you're down two possessions with a D that can't get off the field. That literally would've been coaching malfeasance if CU would've attempted it as KU was already successfully limiting the # of possessions in the game as per their strategy.
Why are we not doing what we did at UCF. Why? We ran different offensive sets. We were under center. We were moving people around and we were dedicated and determined to run the ball. Our best game. We've not done that. We've fallen back to the 11 wide personnel and people know what's coming. That's not creative. Where was Micah last week? I think you throw Charlie in you throw somebody might be seeing the gaps and making things happen week after week. You got to give everybody a shot if we're going to be by committee. You got to see if somebody's got the vision this week. We don't have a Devin Neal. In my opinion, from what I've seen and I've watched every moment. We don't have an offensive line that dedicates itself to the run and run blocking. We run so much spread. They're used to pulling up not driving people off the ball. I don't blame the guys last week for the most part. I blame the coaches for not completely changing up the approach after halftime give me Trevor woods at safety. We all know why. Trevor was one of our best. Defensive players was pulled off his position. And I'm not going down that road but I know Trevor woods can wrap up... How many times did y'all see people trying The knockout technique? No hands, no arms. Just hitting people thinking they're just going to be blown up. That didn't happen. Maybe cam and makai were the exception but everyone else was just trying to knock people down, not wrap them up and tackle them. That was frustrating to watch. As a fan I've put my heart and soul and to believe in these guys.
No good running backs will never come to this team. They dont run the ball smh. They are going to need a good one while having a freshmen QB next year.
Put Shedure , Travis or Shilo at running back = 20 Touches 😂😂
