She is amazing and I love coming and listing to her on youtube when I get a chance. You have to realize she is in a club. She is there basically for background music. You are always going to have to deal with people talking because is not in a concert hall setting. Now I would prefer to listen to you myself because I think she so very talented and pretty too!
I thank you for this footage., I'm waiting to hear when she will be performing at SXSW in Austin. This young lady is is so awesome!!! I know she will have many new followers when she leaves here!
Great Video. Try the YT video software stabilizer. If you don't like the results you can always go back it gives you the option. May take 1 -24 hours in the mean time the original stays live.
You are truly amaing, but I'd like to make a small suggestion. As a professional musician for the last thirty so,me odd years, I have found that it's best if you move one of your headphone cups back halfway on your ear. This will help you hear your pitch. I always did this in the studio, I didn't wear headphones live, but I did wear earbuds, and the same thing applies. If you only hear yourself through the phones you will tend to be pitchy, as Randy Jackson used to say on American Idol. Mostly, you will drift flat. Especially live. You have an amazing voice and an awesome talent, and you are truly original. I am thoroughly enjoying your performances, and if you need any help or advice for a career doing this feel free to contact me, thanks, Mitch.
OUTSTANDING!!!!!!!! and I'm with Ray Padilla... too bad the audience can't shut and let her talent really shine!! I have never been to a concert although there are many singers and bands I would have loved to watch live on stage... and the reason for that is that I have a real problem with paying the ticket prices only to catch a live performance of screaming 'fans'. I guess it's too much to ask that they hold off and do their screaming and yelling in between the songs.
concerts where the audience are calm and don't talk/shout/sing/party are awkward, for the audience, but especially for the artist. You really begin to wonder why the people are even there if you play your most up beat song and nobody moves/screams/etc. I play music to touch people, to move them, because it moves me. A concert should be a huge party, not something where people are quite so that others can get better phone recordings for youtube. So please, with that attitude, don't go to concerts. Or maybe classical one, I heard having a good time is shunned there too.
Emperror1 I'm not a musician but I think you should know that not all people who enjoy music agree with you. I for one disagree. I go to concerts to hear the music not to yell my head off. It depends too what the music is for. Sometimes the music is about partying, it can be flash in the pan. But I appreciate the art.
Emperror1 You're making an assumption there Emperor... and it's a wrong one but natural since you and I are not acquainted. If you did know me you would know that I love music and can party with the best. There are very few music genres I don't enjoy. I go to an open jam on the first Friday of every month and party with everyone (been doing that since I came back from California 15 years ago... I also go to Karaoke as often as possible and can't wait to try out a noraebang (a Korean karaoke bar with rooms that you rent either alone or with friends and you can sing your heart out). I can sing in Korean, Hungarian, Tagalog, Italian, Spanish, and now there are some Chinese ones I want to learn as well so I don't think you're right in saying I have an attitude and shouldn't go to a concert. What I meant was that with the price of concert tickets being so steep and mostly out of my reach if I did manage to buy my way into a concert by a singer or band that I love I would want to be able to hear THEM not have the screaming fans obliterate their performance. If it was a free concert then by means let them scream themselves hoarse... I don't care... but if I pay through the nose for a ticket I want to at least hear the music I came for. I would be jumping up and down and screaming too... it's just that I would wait till the song was finished before I do. To me that is just courtesy, respect and appreciation for an awesome performance. You said you play music to touch people... how can your music touch people if no one can hear it because theyr busting their lungs and their guts screaming?
I.M.H.O. - it all depends on the venue & more importantly, the artist & the way they "lay it down"... If you got to a 5FDP or Metallica, etc., THEY want you to scream your ever-lovin' nuts off. If it's a Bad Co. or a Molly Hatchet etc., then screamin' a "HELL YEAH" might be in order & that's before, during &/or after the song, whenever's clever. =-) But should you go to see a class act like THIS Young Lady's & it would help if peep's keep their hoopin' & hollerin' down until between the songs. Shows like The Fixx & Berlin it's great to get up, dance & sing to just have a great time. Look - - even Yanni can get his crowds on their feet dancing in their seats! But I wouldn't do it at a show of Kitaro's, his & many Jazz shows are best to just sit & enjoy. PEACE Y'ALL! -Lone Wolf
Jaymze Micah She's using software now-Ableton Live 9. It's probably a step up in sound quality. www.kickstarter.com/projects/kawehi/robot-heart I hate software. Lol. I'm going to spring for the RC 300. Her music is inspiring isn't it?
