Ppl saying it looks slow, hopefully it feels a lil faster in person. I think theyre saving the highspeed experience for FZero ; )
There’s a lot going on in the AR that the slow pace isn’t that noticeable when actually on the ride.

It's open for everyone but you need to reserve a time to get in because of how crowded it is, unless you have a platinum pass, then you can get in anytime after 3

@@NinjaB You’re basically shooting at enemies. There are also hidden blocks in certain parts of the ride.

Do the AR glasses simulate depth, similar to 3D?
That's what I'm curious about too... I don't think so since they are just visors with an image projected onto them and don't work the same way VR headsets do which have multiple lenses stacked on top of each other to simulate 3D depth... and AR visors don't do that so I'm gonna take a solid guess and say no but I don't know for sure.
@@1ROCKET- One thing I noticed on pictures of the glasses is that there are two lenses, one to project an image on each eye. That's what got me to ask that initial question, and to see if each image is of a different perspective, similar to VR or 3D.
@@jorgearnoldson3107 Oooo I didn't notice that... hopefully they have some depth, I guess the only way to find out is to ride it ourselves...
@@1ROCKET- I don't think it has depth, unless some major technology leap was made just for this ride, right now we don't have the technology to do 3D Augmented Reality without the use of a full VR headset

What happens when you don’t put on the ar goggles
You lose any sense of speed, interactivity, storytelling, etc.
Is it the same item for every ride?
The paths are identical, but the AR graphics will change depending on what you hit and how well you steer. It is also possible for Bowser to win, but your whole cart basically needs to tank the game on purpose for that to happen
