The transition from getting the Starman to being on Rainbow Road sold it for me!
The feeling of being a kid again was amazing and I'll definitely be coming back someday!
I like how most pov vids aren’t good, but this one was spot on, especially having to record through the ar goggles

The best recording I've ever seen, congratulations, but I doubt it, is the image generated in AR in 3D with the perspective for each eye as in VR or is it just a projection on the screen without depth?

This was really cool! I got to experience it on the good guys side (Team Mario!) and I had a lot of fun! It’s a really cool ride that really uses AR correctly! Also, that ending with the riders getting the Starman and it transitioning to Rainbow Road was seamless! It looks like you’re actually in Mario Kart!
I wonder why there is still a track. I thought we are now in the trackless dark ride era. Looks cool though

Hey Mondo, I was curious after reading a ride restriction article. How's the fitting for us husky folks?? Great POV!!
I have never got the *Next Gen* of Mario Kart (only N64 and GameCube Versions); but seeing this makes want ride this and play the new stuff. BTW thank you for posting this, probably one of best *POVs* I have seen. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 times 💯
While most of the tracks are from Mario Kart 8, (the first scene, despite the World 1 type environment, has elements of MK8’s Bowser Castle, and the Bowser Statue that attacks you at one point is from said track), the underground scene is based off of Piranha Plant Slide from MK7, the one with the airship, lava, and aforementioned Bowser Statue is based off of MKWii’s Grumble Volcano, and the final scene takes place on 64’s Rainbow Road (something I’ll bet you’d appreciate)!

How long do you think the wait time will be the first month of opening? Should I expect a 2-3 hour wait?
So far wait times really haven’t gone over 30-45 minutes. The lines constantly moves
Dont be fooled with FIRES 30-45 min wait times. The land is in soft open mode. Most of the people entering shocked it's opened. Park capacity is slow. And the ride breaks down. A lot. 200 min wait times posted. And it will get even crazier when land officially opens 2/17. That being said, they have a single rider line. Where u can ride in 5min if little wait. I rode it 10 times because of single rider line. It's pretty good. Ignore the crap AR filmed videos bloggers like this one posting. It's shameful.

Nice vid, im a big guy, 6’2 300lbs, i read online the ride might not fit bigger people. Can u elaborate more on that if u rode it. I want to ride it, i got denied on the harry potter ride, but it was cuz my shoulders and arms where too big
I don’t fit at all on Harry Potter but this ride I fit super comfortable and I’m a 3xl who Carry weight in the belly
You should be fine for this one, more extreme rides are naturally more restrictive to ensure rider safety. This one is more tame.
@@hellacia8151 yea i rode it last year, plenty of room if u ride in the back 2 seats. Wish they made harry potter big seats like they do in orlando

Why is it SOOOO slow though? That ruined it for me. Visually stunning, but extremely underwhelming as far as the ride goes. The snails pace is boring

This ride was very disappointing after waiting in line for over a hour.
