Generally, I'm not that big on soup, but one I make that hubby and I love is Brunswick stew. I use an electric pressure cooker. I cook the chicken breasts or brests and thighs combo (approx. 2 lbs) in a quart of water with the Better Than Bouillon chicken flavor. I usually cook a smoked pork neck bone with it for added flavor. When that's done (25 min), I remove the neckbone and shred the meat. Then I add 1 large onion chopped, 3-4 potatoes chopped, 2 cups frozen lima beans, 2 cups frozen corn, a qt jar of my home canned crushed tomatoes, a couple Tbsp of tomato paste, several shakes of Worcester sauce, and a few shakes of hot sauce as well as salt and pepper. Bring back up to pressure for 6 minutes. Then it's done. You can do a quick pressure release or a natural one. Great with cornbread or crackers. This also improves in flavor the next day. We eat it for lunch the next couple of days because it makes a good amount, but you could also freeze leftovers for a future meal.
Thank you so much for sharing!! I haven't had anything like this. I have to try it! Love that you can, pressure cook an use neck bone to flavor your soup! We should be friends, lol!!
Great grocery haul! One of my favorite soup recipes is a beef stew. I got the recipe from an old Sunset Cookbook. It even tastes better the 2nd and 3rd day after you make it.
Love a good haul video and smashed the like button.👍
Thank you so much!
