I always feel a profound sense of personal failure when I find a mistake 😁. I have to correct it, but thank goodness for emergency heddles and weights to hang off the back of the loom!
I’ve tied replacement heddles to the shafts but I will start using the safety pin ends as they will be easier to use and also portable as needed. Thanks for the tip.
Since my heddles are thin metal, I have a metal clipper and I *clip, clip* and use them where I need them and believe it or not, I have had to remove weird double threads...now how did THAT happen? LOL Lots of weirdness can be adjusted or 'fixed' and you what, I ain't above pitching the whole plan...I have even removed warps from my floor loom and used them on my rigid heddle. At first I kick myself but...the whole process just calms me to my soul...my loom room is my happy place :)
What a clever tip, the replacement heddle! Thanks

@@robertrobert5583 Oh no! My friend, it's just weaving! You are allowed and expected to make some mistakes - please don't be hard on yourself!
