I love that you keep a cat zine on the floor! I’m chaotically organized too and as soon as I try to organize differently those things disappear. 😂 I’m really enjoying your content, you’ve inspired me and my daughter to start making zines as homeschool projects (instead of trying to make her write a report).

At the moment I have all my zines in a basket, both ones I have bought / traded for, and one copy of each of my zines.
I store my trades in an A5 expanding file, and trade mini-zines in an old cardboard box which is the perfect size.
My zine collection is still tiny, so it lives inside a biggish regular cardboard shoebox. I actually like the solution, so I'm coming up with a pattern to make a similar box, only slightly bigger, to put the bigger zines in. But, let's face it, that red mini shopping cart looks tempting to keep the "to be read" pile in!

I've been thinking about getting those long magazine shelves that are really thin to display zines, but they're so expensive 😩I do like your clothespin on a string idea tho! Very cute and much more economical frfr

My collection is still relatively small so I’ve been storing mine in clear plastic folder sleeves that my sister bought at a Japanese stationary store. They are super cute, if you can find them.

A cat zine that waits for you outside of the bathroom sounds like the perfect place for a cat zine from what I hear about having cats. 🚽🧻🚪🐈

Moved by my sense of nostalgia for the collectable magazine pages from Hachette Collection’s “Apprendre et Connaître l’Astrologie”, I’m changing my zine format entirely so they can be printed onto ring binder refills.

I loved that your zines are all over your apartment. 🙂 Cool set-up on your wall too! (I just would be careful with paperclips as they might rust after a while). I'm curious about your set-up as a stallholder at zine events now!

Already making zines for pride next year and organising them is going to be important, because I lose things. A lot.
do you ever go back and remake zines? I've made some that I feel could be better, but it feels disingenuous to do the same concept multiple times without sharing it
All the time. Almost every zine I share online has multiple failed attempts no one ever sees. Sometimes I share my process, sometimes I don’t but I don’t think of it as disingenuous at all. I think of it as perfecting your craft 👌🏽

I have a dumbstruck toy in my bathroom...but it holds toilet paper :P
I have a question is it ok that I don’t share a lot zines with people? I mainly make perzines and I get a little too personal in them so when people ask to see them I don’t really like to share them
That’s totally fine! Some zine can be just for you to express yourself, vent, etc. kinda like journaling
Hi!! I just wanted to say, I love your content, it's so chill and really inspiring hehe. I just have a question: is it still a zine if you keep it to yourself? I know the point of a zine is to be shared, but I personally don't really have anyone to share zines to. And I don't know anyone who even knows what a zine is! That's kinda sad lol.
I would love to make more zines (I only have one for now) but I don't know if they really are zines since I'm keeping them to myself. Is it just a small mini-book then?
Yes of course it’s still a zine even if you only make them for yourself! A big part of zines is just being able to express yourself in a way that best suits you :)

I use the scanner attached to my printer! If you don’t have a scanner there are free ones to use at your local public library 📚
No offense, but when you started describing the chaos section all I could think about was this scene from Daddy Day Care only with Zines. If anyone asks why you keep your zines where you do just "I missed" and be like IYKYK 😂
