The country needs to think about api led connectivity and leverage organisarions like Cloud Advisory Group who are experts in open source development, public cloud infrastructure such as AWS, Azure & Oracle Cloud and the ability to connect seamlessly & privately among agencies.
Thanks to CPD for organizing such meetings. BIDA's action plans seem promising, and I am hopeful they will execute them effectively. Mr. Fahim made some excellent points, and Mr. Ashik Chowdhury appears proactive and capable of contributing positively. However, Mr. Muazzem, despite preparing a presentation, did not effectively utilize the projector. The content was not clearly readable for the audience. It seems he displayed the entire report on the projector instead of summarizing it into a presentation format. Mr. Abdul Awal’s speech was valuable but focused solely on his bank issue, which felt somewhat off-topic. Perhaps CPD or another government agency should acknowledge the Doing Business Indicators report by the World Bank and organize a meeting to discuss strategies for improving those indicators. Overall, the direction is positive, and there is room for improvement in the style and structure of government meetings.
sometimes private banks want to know the parents occupations and then select candidates based on their parents' occupation. FOR example, 2 candidates seem X and Y and come from the same university. X's overall marks is slightly high and viva was good but father is a farmer. on the other hand, Y's overall marks is slightly low and viva is as good as X or slightly low as well as father is a corporate job holder ( I mean doing a high salary job). Then I can assure that some bank will select candidate 'Y' over 'X' just because of his/her parents occupations. I want to mention it again to avoid misleading that some reputed banks follow this kind of recruitment process, not all the banks do it. However, It is pathetic for the candidates who come from a middle or low level class. Everyone wants to change their current situation and want to grab a good job by hard working but Sometimes have to face unfairness. Finally, I would like TO say that everyone's father is a super hero despite his occupation. perhaps your father is a big businessman and my father is a farmer. I think it shouldn’t be considered when someone hires us. I hope CPD will work on it.
