This is the best selection of our advisor panel. We need a person like him to fix and clean the rust from, NBR, CCIE, BIDA, BEZA, BEPZA, RJSC, City Corporation to make ease of doing business for ethical businessman and making business touffer for mafia business group.
Lutfey Siddiqi is extremely good about explaining Economics and how the global economy work, he should be in charged completely in reshaping our economy, well spoken gentleman, I would kindly ask Mr Lutfey to implement Investment banking in the Bangladesh and ask all the local bank to make a department of hedgefund and train staffs under global investment bank like JP Morgan and Goldman Sac, Our banks should have global footprint and should have alteast 2 percent exposure in the global stock market. we need to make 100s of thousands Equity analyst and Profession trader trained by Global bank at our local bank.
Prof Lutfey's interviews with CNA (Channel News Asia, Singapore) and CNBC in July-Aug this year on student-led uprising were one of the heart warming ocassions which I had during those very difficult and traumatic weeks. Didn't even know existence of such Bangladeshi who can speak so eloquently and present a difficult case like a story (how disconnected our political regimes kept regular Bangladeshi from knowing its intellectuals, philosophers, etc spread accross the world). Wish Prof Lutfey Godspeed in his new responsibility in the service of people of Bangladesh. Wish he speaks with public media/forums sometime which i am sure will educate regular people on subjects of economy, finance, business, etc.
We have this kind of economists, experts who can implement economic reforms, economic systems to systematically upgrade the economic systems of a country. But our government cannot implement their valuable thoughts, suggestions. It's time that we did value their suggestion and start discussing the valuable suggestions and implement them regards Bangladeshi environment run economy in proper track.
Wow.... awesome .. he is addressing the core issues and what really needs to be done. This is the right path to grow the business and can avoid oligarchy business modules, which hasina did.
Perfect analysis. Right on point. It seems like we have right people in the right place finally. Its time now to set our sails in the right direction as far as the country's economy is concerned.
Bangladeshi peoples are lucky that the country got such a genius for uplifting business. If people don’t believe rightly then you have to suffer in the long run run
Yes, we need a business reform Commission. On top of that we also need Reform commissions in the municipalities, starting with municipalities of Dhaka and Chittagong. The aim of THIS Municipality Reform Commission need to be 1. how it can function better 2. How it can service street side businesses much better by recording them in GIS system. 3. Monitoring them daily with municipality police etc or the like 4. How can municipality reduce taxes on residence it administers and so many other things specially utility companies which currently acts like autocrat institutions.
Bangladesh needs to be spiritually revived....the rich suffer from spiritual poverty since they do not want to sharevgid given wealth witj the less endowed
That's a typical argument people always do but without looking at the outcome. Lets say tomorrow all the rich Bangladeshis shared money with the poor. What then? Everyone will have money, but will the country have more products to sell to everyone? Will the country have magically more food, more clothes and more everything? No. Its the supply of money in everyone's pockets will reduce the value of the money. And inflation will soar and further fuel economic collapse. Its the same thing done by Erdoğan in Turkey. He increased minimum wage to get votes and popularity. But it increased inflation to a dangerous level. Without increasing productivity, giving everyone money is very dangerous.
Thanks Lutfey. Please go ahead with your plans and I am coming to Dhaka by 11th December from Canada to find out if I can be of any assistance to you. Mohammed
We need more professionals, less talking, more output oriented people with Prof Yunus. Even after a political govt is formed there should a team of professionals working for the country.
It's even impossible to imagine someone so brilliant like him in Awami or BNP government. Our political parties are filled with shitty people. We are lucky to have Mr. Lutfey Siddiqi in the interim government.
Since you have mentioned reform of the Judiciary System let me share my concern, "why does it take years or decades to get verdict on some cases"? Can anything be done to set a timeframe to get a verdict. Regards
Reforms in business sector got to ensure no employment of foreigners without Work Permits, no bank loans to people having dual citizenship, no poans to MP, all MP election candidates must clear bank loans before submission,
never bring cbdc neither digital currency rather bring back gold and silver as the legal tender in the market the only way forward for the monetary system nothing else
He talks in a language as if we are in the virtual world. So most of his sayings are not understood. This appears to be a talk for talk, not ment to be understood, so that he needs to talk again - a kind of self selling agent in the guise of an expert. A.Azim

Also in BSEC
Right
We need to give him a full team so he can make swift and lasting chnages.
Mr. Khalilur Rahman is also a magnificent choice
Even if the BEZA and BEPZA come out as possible, it would be a remarkable achievement.
Strong analysis! We are definitely on the right track if we have people like Professor Lutfey Siddiqi working for the country.

We need to roll up our sleeves and get things done. No more short cuts. We need structured regulations and equal business opportunities for everyone.

A big qualitative change in the governance is the find. To wonder, where we were

Re: Adani Power, hope you get govt funding and help from the Hindenberg lawyers who indicted them in USA.
Those are great concept but how to achieve?
Wow>>> TOTAL AMERICAN DIALECT , BUT LETS NOT FOCUS ON SHALLOW THINGS , BUT LOOK AT HIS DEEPTH OF UNDERSTANDING , IF WE COMMITTED TO MOVE FORWARD
No, British accent; except for the pronounced 'r' at the end of a word.
There's nothing called 'American' dialect.

#lutfeysiddiqi, lose HSBC bangladesh's CEO in your and government appearances. He was the banker of the past kleptocracy.
what a person he is❤
He talks in a language as if we are in the virtual world. So most of his sayings are not understood. This appears to be a talk for talk, not ment to be understood, so that he needs to talk again - a kind of self selling agent in the guise of an expert. A.Azim
His accent is clear and intelligible. He has transformed the advisory committee with the vibe of his talent and youthful presence.
Good Storytelling. How much Bangladesh economy saturation knowledge does this guy have?
More than uneducated, unqualified awami politicians who got elected by giving Shingara and Biriyani to chapri people!
😊
❤❤❤❤
GREAT guy..talking specific.
