  • This track is from a rare Led Zeppelin bootleg CD, capturing a live gig in the Netherlands, which was was produced in Italy in 1990. It records one of their last performances before John Bonham’s untimely death in September 1980. According to intelligence gleaned from specialist online sources (for example, bootlegpedia.co...) there is an error in the packaging, which refers to July 1980 as the date of the live recording: The correct month for the gig is June 1980. This and other sources also indicate the recording was made via the soundboard. More information, and photos of the gig, can be found at: www.ledzeppeli....

Good vibes with zep in this period. They would have kept going I think.

I haven't verified this by trying to play myself, but a quick online search comes up with: D G C G C D as the main answer. Unsurprisingly referred to as a "G sus4 tuning" by some.

Really rushed by Page. Doesn't sound like he's relaxed and in a groove at all.

He can't 'rush' it. He's not playing a cover. He's playing that way (his timing) I assume in order to affect the song whichever way he was feeling. His sound is Impecable.
