Gonna miss Wayzata Bait! And love your video, guys seem fun to fish with! For those worried about overfishing the lake the bays that Ice fisheman camp on all winter are overfished but this year has a 11 in average! Lets the big females full of eggs go and all will be well.

Great video. I remember last year's video where you were kayaking among the ice for crappies. Nothing beats being back in the boat.
I have been going to Wayzata bait since I was a teenager. Tim was there then and is there now. I hope all in the shop enjoys their retirement or whatever else they do. Very sad to see it go. It's always been there as I look over while driving by. It's never been easy to go to, but it's always fun looking over looking at the rigs stopped out front picking up their bait. There is a certain comfort in that.
I feel the same way Trevor, there is a certain comfort in seeing boats parked outside a bait shop

Great vid. Here in Michigan we use a 1/32 oz. Twister tail under a weighted bobber. Cast and retrieve. It’s deadly on spring crappie.

Holy Crappies, Mr. Sobi!! They are my favorite fresh-water fish to eat. Mmm. I live in Colorado, and they are sooo hard to find. I can find five different kinds of trout (which I don't like) in the same lake or river, but no crappies!! I'm so envious!

That baitshop is set to be bought out by the car dealership next door. The whole strip mall is to be purchased by them.

Love how they're concerned about over harvest but still name the lake, the water temp, the baits and show exactly where they are fishing. Prime example of how social media wanna bees have the potential to blow up spots and even devastate lakes.

Sobi, if you would learn to reel left handed, you wouldn't waste time shifting the rod from hand to hand. The result is more time gained to catch fish. You have excellent fishing skills already and this would increase your efficiency. Good vid.
