Seeing the 25th anniversary logo has sent me back to high school when I was collecting the 15th anniversary merch. This emotionally hit me way harder than I expected. Big feelings.

It's not really hard to imagine when FF is literally SE's cash cow series. None of their other original IPs make them as much money as FF......sadly (also, FF saved their company from going under).

I literally cried when I saw that Crisis Core was getting a remake!!! I still have never played the original FF7 but Crisis Core is in my top 3 games of all time, but I'm so saddened by the recast of Zack's voice actor. I really don't know if I can bear it. Maybe if all the lines of dialogue are the same, someone can mod the original voice lines into the remake. Zacks voice is iconic to me

I've played Crisis Core so much, and the remake should be a dream come true for me, but I honestly don't think I can take the re-cast. His old English voice was perfect. What a shame to see how little value is placed in performances of Western voice actors. JP voices are never re-cast unless it's some earth-shattering circumstances. Ugh!
I can't believe I'm saying this, but Square Enix won E3. Even Ever Crisis looks pretty good. Heck, i would've been down for just an updated remake of the classic FF7, but this is cool too. Reminds me of Chrono Trigger for the DS and the additional content it had.

FF7 is my favorite game of all time. I was bummed for the first half when you were trying to sell me rings and cell phone games. Those last two trailers got my HYPED!

Not really interested in FS but Ever Crisis looks incredible - the whole compilation of VII realised in a revamped old school style. My complaint is that it won't be on Steam or console because I hate mobile gaming and it looks like such as a good game to waste on that medium.

@@JoshWiniberg I heard that the battle system is the traditional ATB with some added Crisis Core elements to it. I think the reason why they made it for mobile is probably because this remake might clash with the other remake, if it was made for consoles. Also, retelling every single game from the compilation all at once + more, could take a lot of more time to make requiring more manpower that SE might not have right now. Making it for mobile helps them go thru the compilation one piece at a time, with having a lower budget attached to it. If it becomes successful and they complete the whole compilation, they might make a port for consoles & Steam in the future. I'm hoping SE does that, since I'm not really a fan of mobile gaming myself (I don't hate it tho, some mobile games were helpful like Re:Universe for the SaGa series, which helped fund the remaster for SaGa Frontier 1).
This was such a let down. Played original too many times and still got my original copy for playstation. They've saturated the FFVII name with ffvii this and ffvii that 🤑🤮🤧🤬 all i see is a cash cow being milked to death. Also take note of part two's title "REBIRTH" it loses the REMAKE title and becomes rebirth. Meaning what was a retelling of the story now becomes a new story and I bet they do not kill Aerith off. Ff7 reunion looks awesome! And rebirth really looks even more like a completely different yet intriguing take on the story, as they could still go with the AU route, or completely do something different, and reveal that the aerith that is in remake turns out to be Genova in disguise or smth wild. I hope the final part of the remake comes out before the release of a PS6. The scenario I think of is the latest Halo trilogy. 4 came out on Xbox 360, 5 on Xbox One, and Infinite on Series X. It’s frustrating to have to buy a new console to enjoy the next game in a series. That’s why I hope we can all enjoy the full FF7 Remake trilogy on the current generation of PlayStation.
I like that Squaresoft really takes their time to make a quality product with the OG 90s players in mind, presenting something new and intriguing but also honoring the original. Way more meaningful than the garbage rehashes we see from various Hollywood studios today simply trying to milk the nostalgia of the original fan base who has now grown up.
I hear people asking for the next part of remake. Aren't both rebirth and crisis core reunion the next parts of remake? Not chronologically, but they look to be parts of what will be the complete remake of the story of final fantasy 7
I remember playing this in 98 without knowing what the game was about. I couldn't get past the scorpion boss for some tries so I left the game aside for months. I then started playing MGS and I loved it. Right after I finished it, I gave another try to FF, beat the scorpion and played like a maniac for 80+ hours until I finished the whole thing. The Ruby weapon fight was the most difficult for me. Whenever I hear that music, I just travel back in time. Good times.
Looking forward to reliving memories from the content they show and hopefully seeing what way they will expand on the story in pt 2. 3:00pm can't come any sooner!!!

Damn its been 25 years, although I didnt get to play this miracle of a game till 2 years ago. It was phenominal to experience a world and its characters that I thoruougly enjoyed. I played it in middle school. I was so enthralled i would run through the halls with my chest forward and arms behind me like how cloud runs. I also wrote up a 3 page guide for a friend playing it about how to get golden chocobo. still greatest game ive ever played.

I still feel kinda weird about the Whispers and Sephiroth's prominence in this first part, but I am excited to see more of the characters well fleshed out and added world-building.
@@moshpitfuneral In the books, Sephiroth can only come back via Cloud's memories. I kind of wonder if this is him using that to come back into the past and messing with stuff. So there would be the actual Sephiroth of the time and then future Sephiroth going back in time.

Played a few FF games when I was like 12 and forgot about them a bit. I started playing Ff7R thinking "I wonder if this still cuts it for me" as I expected a form of turn based gameplay / random battles and I hated that. 200 hours later after getting platinum on the gradual increasing rollercoaster ride that is FF7R, I thought it was probably the best game I've played since TW3:HOS/B&W. So excited for part 2!!
So the new stuff is more FF7 Battle Royale Mobile game content (already out), FF7 Remake Ever Crisis Mobile game content coming out late 2022, Ever Crisis Remake this winter (2022) and will be on PS4, FF7 Remake Part 2 next winter (2023), and finally a part 3 announcement meaning the entire remake will have 3 parts. So much new content for FF7 Remake and I'm here for it.

Man part 2 looks so different than what I imagined it would be. Really interesting to see how different it’ll be. I have my theories and conspiracies, and I’m excited to see what they come up with! Leading up to this I’ve been replaying the ps5 version of FFVIIR and just jiving it all over again!
Pretty happy with the ever crisis news, and crisis core is at least on all platforms, but I really feel screwed not getting the ff7 remake on xbox. It's been way too long. If I could afford a ps5, I'd get on. Just sucks not being able to play intergrade on my ps4

It’s frustrating to have to buy a new console to enjoy the next game in a series. That’s why I hope we can all enjoy the full FF7 Remake trilogy on the current generation of PlayStation.

I like that Squaresoft really takes their time to make a quality product with the OG 90s players in mind, presenting something new and intriguing but also honoring the original.
Way more meaningful than the garbage rehashes we see from various Hollywood studios today simply trying to milk the nostalgia of the original fan base who has now grown up.

I remember playing this in 98 without knowing what the game was about. I couldn't get past the scorpion boss for some tries so I left the game aside for months. I then started playing MGS and I loved it. Right after I finished it, I gave another try to FF, beat the scorpion and played like a maniac for 80+ hours until I finished the whole thing. The Ruby weapon fight was the most difficult for me.
Whenever I hear that music, I just travel back in time. Good times.
Really appreciate the square Enix team for bringing back a classic. Pumped for Remake Part 2 news.

Damn its been 25 years, although I didnt get to play this miracle of a game till 2 years ago. It was phenominal to experience a world and its characters that I thoruougly enjoyed. Congrats on the wonderful work the team put in. Taliking about original, Remake part 2 is going to be amazing I hope we get news but don't forget this is a celebration for the original's milestone.

I played it in middle school. I was so enthralled i would run through the halls with my chest forward and arms behind me like how cloud runs. I also wrote up a 3 page guide for a friend playing it about how to get golden chocobo. still greatest game ive ever played.

I still feel kinda weird about the Whispers and Sephiroth's prominence in this first part, but I am excited to see more of the characters well fleshed out and added world-building.
The theories I've seen is that this is Sephiroth trying to change the outcome of the first game, like he knows what happened and wants to change it
@@moshpitfuneral In the books, Sephiroth can only come back via Cloud's memories. I kind of wonder if this is him using that to come back into the past and messing with stuff. So there would be the actual Sephiroth of the time and then future Sephiroth going back in time.

Played a few FF games when I was like 12 and forgot about them a bit.
I started playing Ff7R thinking "I wonder if this still cuts it for me" as I expected a form of turn based gameplay / random battles and I hated that.
200 hours later after getting platinum on the gradual increasing rollercoaster ride that is FF7R, I thought it was probably the best game I've played since TW3:HOS/B&W.
So excited for part 2!!

So the new stuff is more FF7 Battle Royale Mobile game content (already out), FF7 Remake Ever Crisis Mobile game content coming out late 2022, Ever Crisis Remake this winter (2022) and will be on PS4, FF7 Remake Part 2 next winter (2023), and finally a part 3 announcement meaning the entire remake will have 3 parts. So much new content for FF7 Remake and I'm here for it.

Pretty happy with the ever crisis news, and crisis core is at least on all platforms, but I really feel screwed not getting the ff7 remake on xbox. It's been way too long. If I could afford a ps5, I'd get on. Just sucks not being able to play intergrade on my ps4
