lol, lead me not into temptation, I know a shortcut… Nice haul, the acrylic will make great blankets for the kids. My grandkids love having colourful blankets so this would be perfect.
The colors are nicer in person then what I was seeing online. The yarn seems nice and can be washed, bonus. Premier even had $1 skeins, I could have really gone overboard on this order. As it was, I really didn’t think I got 49 skeins until I reviewed my inventory.
Awesome yarn haul, Shannon! Beautiful! Have fun creating with it. 😊 A Ranunculus is a flower. I think I know what it looks like. …It’s been many years since I’ve gardened and poured through seed catalogs. 😂 Hugs. 🫶🏻
I’ve heard the term Ranunculus but didn’t know what it was. That particular color of DK is stunning. I don’t know where to start first and what to make first. I’m loving the idea of soft snuggly blankets (not for Christmas, not enough time)
Here is some info for you on pbt: Polybutylene terephthalate material, or PBT, is a texturized yarn fiber material. Plastics can be made into a variety of materials today, and PBT is a kind of plastic fiber with a natural stretch and recovery properties, similar to that of spandex. PBT is a member of the polyester family of plastic fibers. PBT has a matte finish, differentiating it from other more shiny polyester materials. Although it is stretchy, it has less stretch than some other polyesters like Lycra, making PBT a stiffer alternative. PBT has a light and smooth feel, and the material slides smoothly through water, making it great for athletic wear.
That sounds wonderful with the smaller color stripes at the underarm. I’ve made one hexi cardigan with a combination of both knit and crochet and loved the whole process of it. That’s a great option
Wow, you must have picked up some amazing things. I really thought I did good with not going overboard until I saw the size of my box 😊. Welcome to my channel, Jen is great, and I’ve been watching her for years. If you are looking for another daily poster to add to your morning chats you e found it. Like Jen, I’m a prolific poster and love to talk about yarn.
@ I held off until the DK Colors hit $2, I ordered within 15 minutes of finding out. That is unusual for me, I normally fill a cart and milk over it a while. My husband on the other hand adds more yarn, pushes the button then closes the website. He is the biggest enabler
I get it, I thought I was “being good” with not ordering to much. I think 49 skeins isn’t really “being good” though 🤣. The prices and the additional $16 off, how could I say no? Do you have plans for yours? What were you thinking? I’m up for suggestions on mine
@@anotheryarn I do for some. I bought a lot of the Norway at $5 for a five-pack. It's like the Bloom, or the Wool-Ease that you made the knitted blanket from. Mixed all together, they will make a really pretty granny square project. I've also made a hat with one skein, but that still leave 1,000 skeins to go! I'm thinking I'll package it with one of each color to sell. Maybe try to make back a small part of my "investment." I also bought every color of the Lana Lux that was also $5 per pack of five. It's a fine weight yarn and I definitely need ideas for that one.
When I was ordering mine, I went on ravelry and looked at what people said about the various ones I planned to order. I looked at how they worked up. I eliminated several that didn't sound like it worked up like I wanted. It helped me pare down. 😂 102 skeins. I would have bought 3x a much if I thought I could afford it and find somewhere to put it.
I didn’t go “off brand” much so figured it would be ok. It was nice getting so much “larger” yarn. This will work up faster than all my fingering weight yarn
Lucky you, getting yarn in the mail. I'm waiting for 2 Advent calendars (one from Australia, one from Arkansas Yarn Company) but there is a nationwide mail strike in Canada. I'm exercising patience.
Oh, I didn’t know about a Mail strike. That’s tough to deal with during the holidays too. I’m expecting my very first advent calendar. Mine is coming from Aberdeen Wool Company
@ - I’m not sure but Aberdeen might be looking into an alternate delivery solution such as UPS. I thought I read it and that Advents were going out first in order to arrive by December 1st. I hope I’m right about that.
@ Thanks fir the heads up. I know when I ordered their goal was to start sending them mid November to arrive on time. With a Mail strike I’m sure things have changed.
That’s not necessarily a bad thing. There are a lot of companies having sakes right now, stick with the ones where you can see yourself using the yarn you get.
@@anotheryarn they will fill in the spaces being left behind after I've been finishing sweaters and hats. And any other spare bit of space... Most of them were $1 which is almost never available. Knowing our income is going to change soon due to retirement was incentive to buy these now at these incredible prices. Big fear of running out of yarn. Lol Last year in Herrschners sales I didn't buy some of the yarns I really wanted that were only$1. I was just getting back into knit and crochet and did not know the real value of them. Been kicking myself all year and vowed not to miss the sales on the really good yarn. 😢
@ You are getting no judgment from me and I don’t blame you for your retirement yarn. I’ve joked about that for years and with the prices going up feel pretty smart about my purchases. Enjoy all your yarn and use it how you are fit.
Pbt is polybutylene terephthalate. It is a strong and highly crystalline synthetic resin, produced by the polymerization of butanediol and terephthalic acid. Yeah, I don’t know about but I still don’t know what it is😂😂. Wool, cotton, bamboo, that I understand.
Did you look it up or did you really know what PBT was? Even with the wonderful explanation, I can see forgetting and saying someone in the comments told me what it is but I don’t remember exactly 🤣
I didn't get 50 skeins either, I got 58! Great sale.
Which yarn did you in?

That rose garden color is gorgeous.
Ranunculus is a flower. That's a beautiful colorway too.
The Ranunculus color is very pretty, very saturated
Love #Premier!! ❤
Premiere has great yarn
That butterfly yarn is so pretty. I will have to try that yarn one of these days. My favorite Premier yarn is the puzzle line.
I’ve wanted to try the Butterfly yarn for a while. It really is a soft acrylic yarn. I’m loving the colors too
I think Butterfly is discontinued, unfortunately. 😢
@ it probably is, I at least got some before it goes away.
love your yarn colors, so much fun !!!
Thank you so much! I’m looking forward to playing with all of these.
Good afternoon Shannon I can't wait to see what yarn you picked up from Premier yarn big sale?
Me too!! I’m looking forward to playing with all of these.

I was impressed with the colors, now time to work these up with all the other beautiful projects
I have the same t-shirt that you are wearing. Loved your haul.❤
It’s a fun T-shirt

yummy yarn haul!
It was a lot of fun, somehow it’s so easy to collect, and a bit harder to work through. I’m trying though
You are gonna LOVE that butterfly yarn its so soft and fun to work with
Seeing you make your blanket and it hitting such a sale I knew I had to get it.
Nice haul
Thank you! 🤗, I tried not to go overboard and still ended up with 49 skeins of yarn. That will keep me busy for a while
I love your hair!!
Thank you 🥰
All the wonderful yarn 🧶❤. I just made a blanket with the Butterfly yarn.
What pattern of any did you use with the butterfly yarn?
You got some very pretty yarn!
I think so too, these are really pretty
I’m making a solid hexi cardi with butterfly! Love it
That sounds wonderful with the smaller color stripes at the underarm. I’ve made one hexi cardigan with a combination of both knit and crochet and loved the whole process of it. That’s a great option
😊😊live love all 🎉 love premier the yarn just did a Josephine poncho with butterfly as a gift!
A poncho would be great in this yarn. It really is soft
Jennifer from cinnamon stitches is how I found you. Love your yarn haul. I have 3 premier orders from that sale and yes I used Jennifer's link.❤
Wow, you must have picked up some amazing things. I really thought I did good with not going overboard until I saw the size of my box 😊.

@anotheryarn nice. I thought i was done until the dk. That was my last order. Still waiting on them. My husband just says another yarn order.😂
@ my humus a massive enabler, no judgement from him 😊. Sounds like you got a good one too
Oh, I bought so much more than 50 skeins! $1 a skein just sucked me in!

I see a few blankets lol I have some of that yarn too.
I think you are correct on the blankets. That Sunshine color has my name written all over it too
You got a wonderful haul, hope you have been well ❤
The yarn is fantastic, this cold/crud has been lingering but will soon pass.
@anotheryarn sorry to hear you have been sick

Love the premier yarns... Have you tried their Dotties 3 wt? Oh, #TeamAnotherYarn!
I have a couple skeins of the Dottie I got on my last order but haven’t tried it yet. What do you think if it?
@@anotheryarn I love it, and am making 2 baby sets. My Addi knitting machine love it too.
They had some amazing deal. Sadly most was DK which I don't use.

I looked at my invoice and counted mine up. 102 skeins. 😂
I'm being good though and not opening it till Christmas.

I think it makes things (yarn) stretchy.
@ I get that, I was trying to pronounce them. I don’t think I got them correct though.
@ That makes sense. I really like the Hobby Lobby Cozy Toes (discontinued) for is lovely feel and stretch. That make great kid’s clothes.
Ranunculus is a flower
Thank you 😊
Not into unboxing. Catch you in the next video.
Thanks for stopping in, I get it though, we all like different things (any suggestions on using up the DK color cakes I just got?)
