Do you have a link for the pontoon rental? I’ve searched Viator and only find private cruises. TIA!
I did Bora Bora on the cheap approx 30 yrs ago, caught some cargo ship from another French Island, back-packed and camped around the island, eating coconuts for breakfast, walked around the atoll in a few days, fun times.
Wow it must’ve been a wildly different place between now and then!
I want to be you!
How's the island
Went a few years ago and it’s THE most beautiful place I’ve ever been. Honestly had 1 of the most perfect days snorkelling, swimming with sharks and super friendly manta rays. When I’m stressed and think of that day I just feel so happy and zen. Did the OWB bungalows @ St Regis & IC Thalasso. It’s wayyy more expensive to return there since pandemic esp with Aussie $ trading so low but hubby 6:40 and I are spending Xmas in Bora Bora at an Airbnb on Matira for 10 nights then 5 nights in Moorea and we couldn’t be more excited.
We’ve travelled A LOT esp to tropical islands from Maldives, Bali, borneo, Hawaii, Cook Islands, Vanuatu and apart from being aesthetically beautiful the energy is just so loved up and magical. If you’re thinking of going just do it. Even if you just do the OWB thing for a couple of nights it is a treat but there are more affordable ones. Just do it.
What a beautiful place to visit.
It's an awesome place. Love Bora-Bora👍
It really is ❤️❤️
Love drone footage 😍 there is soooo beautiful ❤️
Agreed! The drone footage was gorgeous 😍
Fantastic Forever
💖🌏🌞💛💜💚💙
I was there and I remember this beauty... amazing...

Thanks for this video. Im planning on taking my girlfriend to Bora Bora for our honeymoon in the next several years.
You're welcome!
Awesome, thanks a lot for all the tips and links! :) I'm going in less than a month.
You're welcome. Have fun! 🙌😊💖
J'aime beaucoup
Did Club Med in 83. Bora Bora for 3 nights over the water, met a local and went to his private island, snorkeled by the barrier reef, horseback riding on the beach and lava mountains, rented a jeep and circled the island, saw black pearls, all you can eat 3 times a day, native dancers, and the Southern Cross at night. Moorea for 12 nights, hut for 2 on the nude beach, snorkeling every day, boating, stage shows nightly, disco til 2a., met fun Australians, one was really fun, sunsets, moon light so bright no need for outdoor lamps, Milky Way, up all night, and lifetime of memories. It was far less developed at that time and cost $2k plus air fare. No need to go back but it will be fun for you.
thanks!
Looks beautiful, probably could afford it once in a lifetime but not sure if its worth if I might get bored after a few days and a long ass trip from USA east coast.
We like to explore.
11 miles?! I'm hiking the island as soon as I get there!!!! 💓
You should!! 🙏
Awesome 👌
Thank you :)
@@worldnomac , you're welcome.
Good Time for you manager i lové Ttttt thanks bro :Sam from paris byyyyyy💝💝💝
So glad you love it, thanks for watching :))
The island has some great topography. I looked at google maps and it does not look like there is an easy way to get to climb up the tall places for a good view and some exercise. Is that the case? I saw an amazing shot through a kind of natural window. That kind of thing floats my boat as it were. Is there infrastructure for that?
What an amazing place! What's the best time to visit there.. hate to go in rainy season.
"The best times to go to Bora Bora are November and April. These short shoulder seasons offer fine weather with temperatures in the mid-70s to mid-80s. High season runs from May to October when rain showers are isolated and the number of tourists swells. Low season stretches from December to March when the weather is wet and visitors become mosquito bait. But really anytime is a good time to visit Bora Bora, since the weather is warm year-round." Do you have a link to the company who rents the pontoon boats. I cannot find that in all the links you have in the description. Thank you so much!
Jealous! I will go sometime😉
WOW.... Great vid.... love to chat with you before I go...... Thanks for the information...... WELL SAID... Is 8 days ENOUGH ??
So glad you loved the vid! Message me on Instagram with your questions @worldnomac
I’d say 8 days is enough to see everything but it’s still hard to leave paradise so more days is always nicer
Staying at the St Regis Bora Bora was certainly one of the highlights of my life. Always hoped I’d get to do it again. But maybe not.
It is a bucket list item for sure!! St Regis is so stunning!!
How much did it cost for a week?
@@ItsStaryy about $12,000 including just about everything because I booked almost everything through the hotel. I didn’t have to go searching for the best deal. I’m sure it wasn’t but at the time I didn’t care
@@MrRaylay how many days did you spend there?
@@MrRaylay holy shit
Number 10 -rent a jet ski is a horrible thing to do. The jet skiers are the number one reason the coral is dying, apart from natural weather storms, etc. When people rent the jet skis, they pay no attention to where they are riding them, they go right over the coral and break it up. Even the Tahitians hate them. BTW - we've been to Bora Bora 8 times, going again in November.
This is a very good point, thanks for this comment.
Is flying a drone overly restrictive? How did you obtain the necessary permissions or determine where you could fly?
Thank you awesome video!! What is a good time to go to Bora Bora?
Thank you so much! The best times to visit Bora Bora are the months of November and April
@@worldnomac Thank you stay safe!!
Can you network there. Like wifi is it good there.
When is the right time to go?
November to march?
Whats the name of song that starts at 1:17?
Where is the Air BB segment?
Any issues bringing a drone? Will be traveling there in about a month!
I did not have any issues when I went, you will only sometimes run into issues if you are flying it at a resort - they usually just ask you to land it if you didnt get permission
What if you are single? Seems everything made for couples and the spots over the water seem too close to prevent hearing the screaming at night.

Climbing Mt. Pahia?
Climbing Mt Otemanu?
Manta rays?
No?
I would not put snorkeling or fishing on that list either…. Who would do that in a tropical paradise
Would be a great place to retire, if you can afford to !
The ultimate dream to retire there!
Enjoyed the list, but Imma skip 3… no 🦈… not even babies… lol
hahahah fair point
Stop the background music while you speak!!!!!! PLEASE
Thank you for the feedback, it seems like I had it turned on too loud.
Music is too pushy.
Bora bora is apart of France. So if you go to bora bora you’re in France
This is true although it would be odd to say I’ve been to France if I only went to Bora Bora since they are vastly different 😂
@@worldnomac 🤣🤣🤣 but it’s true just like a tourist can say they went to America by visiting Hawaii
That's why Tahitian cooking is so good -- it's their French influence.
It should be free from france.
very loud annoying music. wow
that music is awful friend. and through the whole video ugh. otherwise the content is good.
The food is really good…..shows burger and fries. Ya, ok.
I agree, it looks so good!! ❤️
I heard bora bora is boring boring cuz once you leave that water that’s it
The water there was so beautiful I never got bored 😅
I was thinking the same thing. Bora Bora seems like a place to honeymoon and relax vs the Hawaiian islands which have much more to offer for adventure enthusiasts.
Bora Bora looks Bora Boring
