@@vanventure4985 I was 22 hrs without power. Many branches fell , I cleared the paths. It was scary, 70 mph howling winds in the trees . But everything here is back to normal.
Yes, our neighborhood has power and telephone cables underground ,too, but we are connected to other grids where they still have above the ground cables that can be damaged. There were whole streets under water , so many lakes here that overflowed, and that had to be pumped away before the power comp. could do repairs. We were so lucky it was not worse here compared to those at the Gulf !

b. Only a CAT 1 storm
c. 100 miles offshore when it passed us.
