That hike up Ben Nevis brought back some memories! I flew all the way from Canada with my girlfriend at the time and we climbed it. I proposed to her at the top. We just celebrated our 20 year anniversary a couple of weeks ago.❤️ A very special memory. Very special place.

wow you have brought so many memories back to me, i toured scotland 52 years ago in a car with tents. we were unlucky when we arrived at ben nevis because of the clouds so low we camped there for 4 days thoough till it cleared so worth it. you have given an old man a massive smile and the memories i had so long ago. enjoy all your adventures but this 1 you are on at the mo so much more. stay safe

Haha, surreal. We are sat watching this in the Ben Nevis Inn car park in our van having just climbed the Ben, took us 2.5 hours up and we sat in the same spot for food.

Northwoods Tim. You bring back memories of when I was in my late tweties and we were camping at the Grand Canyon. We hiked down to the Toneu Plateou above the river. one and a half hours down four and a half back up. I woke up the next morning to head to the washroom and both my thihgs cramped up solid and I went down to my knees. love you guys keep it coming.

You must have run up and down, wow. Can't believe you then drove 4.5 hours. I could hardly walk for 3 days! But I'm in my 50's. Amazing weather too. I saw the lake, and had a wee with the best view, the rest was mist/rain. The adrenaline was pumping and true bucket list massive tick. Love watching your travels.

What a beautiful day you got for it, I waited 3 or 4 days in the mist and drizzle and gave up, I'd done the other 2 peaks on the way too!

This is great. I did snowdo few years ago and struggled so wasn’t sure I’d be able to do Ben Nevis but I wanna cuz then I will have done the big three. Watching this I think it’s easier than snowdon although it’s longer. So I’m gonna do it
Yesss! You've got to tick them off, even if it takes all day. It honestly wasn't that bad just take your time, we kind of rushed it incase you hadn't noticed haha.

Its worth the climb, bit harder than you think I guess and you had blue sky's and great views. We has clouds and fog and it was cold, but well worth it. Charlie, you manage to get sunburn in Scotland. Wow, be careful in Australia. Probably easier to get sunburn at a higher elevation. I enjoyed your Scotland trip, we know Scotland well, used to live there and will return soon I hope.

You bypassed Gretna Green!!!! How could you! We got married there over the anvil in 2000 dressed in 1920s gear. It was a secret apart from the family who came with us. No body had a clue until we got home. Well done on the mountain at that speed with no injuries. The scenery was stunning and no mountain top cloud. Great.

You`re so lucky to get the amazing views there. I went up in 70mph wind and rain and -9 as the summit which was engulfed in cloud, didn`t see a thing, but got sponsored and earned a grand for BHF so it was worth it.
We really didn't realise how lucky we were until reading these comments! Makes us even more grateful and what a way to end the trip! Wow that's awesome haha!
