Hartigan's Live Loop Jams - #8

Part 8 of my 52-part live looping improv series. For the year of 2015 I'm planning to upload one of these every Saturday. Lets see if I can pull it off!
The idea is to use a looping machine to create grooves and solo over them with my voice, keyboard, and whatever other instruments I may have lying around. I'm also going to make an effort to keep it fresh and not repeat myself too much. It's a good opportunity to explore (and maybe invent) some new styles and instrumental combinations.

The Keyboard Fundamentals series is a weekly video in which I take a close look at a single element that's been a big part of my playing, and show how I use it and where it can fit in different musical situations. As the series goes on, I'd really like to talk about topics that viewers are interested in, so please do leave comments. I'll probably look to them for future video topics.

Some funky-country sounding stuff. :) I really loved this little melody. 5:20 onward is my favorite. Loved that funky little solo at the end.

Hey, thanks so much! I'm making a keyboard tutorial that will come out next Tuesday on my style of funky clavinet playing. I'll also probably do something funky for this week's Loop Jam. :)
