3D Toolpaths have the power to tackle complex challenges and geometry, so we’ve gathered some key skills and tips to help you be more efficient in programming with them. These are all areas of the 3D toolpaths that either get overlooked, aren’t understood, or are rarely optimized. There have been a lot of changes to these three areas of the software over the past two releases, so this webinar is designed to catch you up and supercharge your efficiency.
Here are the three topics we’ll cover about getting the most out of the 3D toolpaths.
    - Understanding Linking Parameters for 3D Toolpaths and how to efficiently enter and exit cuts with the tool motion you want.
    - Making use of stock awareness of 3D Toolpaths and why Stock Models are now your best friend.
    - Understanding when to use the Arc Filter for smoothing and how you can improve your finish passes when doing so.
If you want to learn more and become fully productive with Advanced Milling, check out our Advanced Mill Training and register for an upcoming class.

OH MY GOD I always thought that the Secondary Lead was just used when the Primary couldn't fit, i.e. for oddly shaped pockets. This is awesome!

It is a really good illustration, our team does a great job of breaking down topics like this to make it easier to understand and use it solve problems. Thanks for the feedback!

Arc filtering answered a lot of questions i had regarding whether or not mastercam would play nice with my fairly old machine. Thank you.

Great to hear! It is a must with high-speed toolpaths and is such an efficient way to remove material!
