- C-Section In Nigeria - My experience of the 1st 24hrs after C-Section in Lagos. It has not been a walk in the park but taking it one day at a time. Documenting and sharing for experience for women who intend to have a C-section and are curious about what really happens. That is the nurse's job. She has to be patient with the customers. There is nothing to applaud. The patient paid for the services, and the nurse needs to do the job that she's paid for.

When we thank our parents, spouses, siblings, bosses etc for something they have done for us which is most often their responsibility in the first place, it's for nothing else but to show appreciation and boost morale. No child has ever asked to be born into this world yet children, we all appreciate their/our parents for being good, responsible parents aka doing their jobs.
These are simple, very little things that minimizes unnecessary friction & fosters peaceful living amongst people. It beats me why you think that people "doing their jobs" do not deserve gratitude.
It's obviously an expensive hospital so it's VIP treatment. Government hospitals won't give u this treatment never

Sisi Yemmie i pray for a quick recovery in Jesus name. The first dose of reality is when the Anastasia wears off. E go be like they slaughtered you raw. You will feel so raw... So vulnerable. Please if you see this say a prayer for me. I have a Fourth C-section. I am just 32=i have had 3 already. 😭😭😭 Sometimes i wonder is there more to me being here. Just pray for me. I feel so much seeing every sisi Yemmie is going through. This isn't just content. This is a testimony.😭😭😭

As I watch this video, my anger is renewed at people who undermine CS birth. This is so difficult and painful. I am legit crying seeing all this pain you are going through. Congratulations Mama! Your daughter will bring you all the joy and beauty in the world

Congratulations Sisi Yemmie, your daughter is so beautiful. CS is never easy on mums, but the Good Lord sees us through it all. The hospital should invest in beds that can be raised/lowered to make it easier for new mums to get in and out. Much love❤️❤️❤️

This has brought so much memories of my first C-Section for my baby boy almost three years back. It was an emergence one, i had all my fears on but Faith came in strong in the theater i had the serious vomiting after the injection and blood splash all over the place after the hand injections
All in all the experiencs isnt easy at all with the cather removal and the toilets visits afterward were painful
JESUS heals us and we move on in HIS GLORY that all i can say
I have watch your delivery and this one in tears as its HIS GRACE that cover us

This really makes me nostalgic. CS pain is not here ooo. The only thing that keeps one going knowing that you have your bundle of joy with you. This hospital really gave good post surgical care.
They really do have good post surgical care. Every 15-30 mins a nurse or doctor comes to check on you. I birthed my child there and it was amazing with them.

Congratulations, Sisi Yemmie.....Things mothers go through to birth their own. I had my 3rd section in 2020 and I can only say Thank You, Jesus. For my first, I had shivers and threw up in the theatre, while for the last two I only had shivers and felt helpless. In all, God be praised.

Your baby girl is so sweet ❤️. She looks like Yomi. Watching this reminded me of my two C-sections. It's not easy. I felt the pain when you stood up and laid on the bed for the first time. Those moments are usually the most painful. I pray you keep on recovering well.

Why am I crying this much my God. Motherhood is so beautiful yet it’s accompanied with so much pain. When I had my baby 8 months ago, after the whole delivery and suturing episode, I was shivering like bad Nepa current. It was insane! But the joy of holding your little one after you feel better is unexplainable. May God come through for every TTC mom.
