  • @tawnyaelliott1268

My son started having heart attacks at age 17. The ER doctors refused to even check him out. They would say it is a panic attack and send him home. When he was 19 he finally went into cardiac arrest in front of the ER doctor that had just finished saying he was having a panic attack. A subsequent cardio cath showed scarring from multiple heart attacks. ER doctors in this area are not interested in finding out what is the matter with you.

They just want their money from the insurance, prescribed anything to keep you sick so that way you'll come back to them. I started w chest right upper side pain on ,Wednesday I thought I was dying thanks God I feel a little better. I'm going 2the Dr. On Wed hope it's nothing important.

I've had extreme right side chest pain for 11 years ever since my riding mower flipped over and threw me off backwards on a hill and i hit on my back right side ribs and landed on my back with the mower coming down on top of me but i managed to use my legs to throw the mower off to my right side while on my back, and my doctor then who is retired now said not to worry about it just keep an eye out on it. I've been to several doctors since then all of whom contract under the same group in my town because the doctors here can't practice and send their patients to the only hospital there , and every one of the doctors after i got hurt and after my primary dr. Didn't treat it. They will not even treat this with any meds or surgery. And it's been living hell to live with. Thanks for this video Dr.Berry. i will try to find someone outside this crazy town to help me. So far you mentioned 4 things I've been aware of after i researched this. Have a nice day.

I had left or right sided flank pain and it was a precursor to a blood clot that went into my pulmonary arch. I had severe dizziness when I had sat on the toilet to go to bathroom. I coded and needed CPR. I was diagnosed with chronic inflammatory demyelinating poly neuropathy (CIDP) a rare autoimmune disease. I just happen to be in the VA hospital getting rehab for the CIDP. I needed to be in a wheelchair for 11 months. You are right about the chest pain-any chest pain is not normal get it evaluated!!!

When I was 19 I was in a car wreck and broke my right collar bone and all the cartilage between my ribs and sternum. I was squashed like an accordion. My ribs were wrapped and I had a harness type brace. Now I’m in my 50s and I quite often revisit that pain when I work in the garden or move furniture. I don’t know if it’s arthritis or what but I can definitely make it flare up for a few days. Not all chest pain is your heart that’s for sure!

The first time I had really bad chest pain I did call 911 and an ambulance came. They checked me out at home, and recommended that I go to the hospital, even though they said I didn't absolutely have to. So I went, spent a LOT of time there, my heart checked out fine, and after many hours I was sent home with a pamphlet about anxiety. They never even mentioned that acid reflux could also be a cause. I do have acid reflux, and I also have anxiety, as well as a several other mental health diagnoses. Meds caused me to gain more than 100 lbs. This video is scaring me into not falling off the ketogenic diet anymore.

I've had a number of cases of a very harsh level of costochondritis.
"An inflammation of the cartilage that connects a rib to the breastbone.
The cause usually isn't known. In some circumstances, it develops after trauma or a muscle strain."
You can literally feel like you had a heart attack or angina or a broken rib. I've been to the hospital each time, a few hours after the onset (I tried Tylenol and sometimes it helps, sometimes it doesn't).

In April, I began having a pleurisy type pain in my upper-left shoulder blade. The pain moved to the front of my chest. I got it checked out and it wasn't a heart attack - but it was during the UK pandemic peak and no further tests were done.
A day later, I could hardly breathe, the chest tightness felt like a vice crushing the breath out of me. I was also getting severe waves of body chills and I literally sat up for three nights, just focusing on breathing.
I wondered about the Wuhan plague, but I didn't have a cough nor a high temperature.
I started Walking and breathing - incorporated with Keto and intermittent fasting.
I've shed 42 pounds So far and things appear to have improved - though I still get some chest discomfort - and a lot of unexplained burping.
This excellent channel is very helpful in pointing us in the right direction.

      Gal Bladder?

    • @RobCLynch
      @RobCLynch 2 роки тому +1

@@bobobrien8968 I seriously considered my gallbladder, because many symptoms pointed in that direction and I had spent years following fad low fat diets. However, a scan of my gallbladder proved negative - apart from a polyp detected on the tube leaving it. The question is, could a polyp cause such symptoms.
The upper left shoulder blade pain comes and goes and it comes less frequently. So I can only hope that keto and fasting is slowly healing things.
Update. My weight loss ended at 103 pounds lost, so I'm delighted to have shed one third of my body weight.

I had mid and left sided chest pain one time in my 30’s. Came on suddenly and stopped me in my tracks. I was doubled over and short of breath. In ED heart rate was 160’s with high BP and low O2. They admitted me for observation and the Cardiologist told me I was wasting his time and that people in their 30’s don’t have heart issues. He said next time don’t come to the ED and waste his time that I was taking from patients that actually needed him. Well I didn’t have a cardiac thing but within 2 days I hav swollen nodes in both armpits with armpit pain. Swollen glands in my neck. And broke out in a rash from head to toe. What I had was a virus that started out as chest pain. I was sick for two weeks. I was thankful it wasn’t cardiac but I will never forget his rude words and made it like I was faking.

I suffered a massive heart attack at age 36. Full blockage of my LAD , aka widowmaker. I looked healthy. I had just been given a clean bill of health by a cardiologist only two weeks before it occurred. My Dr was skeptical of my complaints /symptoms being serious but he sent me to the cardiologist.
If you're ever in that position again, never hesitate going to the ER and do forget the nonsense that ER doctor told you.

Zen Mind I won’t. I’m a nurse and have coded people that have had heart attacks. It just really ticked me off a cardiologist acted like that. Someone could have taken his words and not taken precautions in the future and died. And it would be on his hands. I am so very glad you made it through!!

I am 21. I usually have small chest pains (left side) close to the ribs
This pain is like 2/10 , Its so mild but annoying
I tought it was heart but i did exams and all of them are great
I work in the construction só i have to carry big weights.
Some times my Back (behind left side) gives little sharps and i can feel my bones cracking a lot
My problem is just i Have anxiety
So yesterday , even knowing i dont have any heart problem
I had an anxiety attack and tought that , the small pain were from heart and i started to get nervous . A Lot of nervous
So my body just reacted to my anxiety and heart beat was fast, my chest turned red because i was everytime moving on him. I did put a pain reliefer in my chest and Back area and it helped

I've had pericarditis before and it really made me think I was having a heart attack. Of course the anxiety of thinking I was having a heart attack drove up my blood pressure. I never had dizziness or shortness of breath, but the BP was so high I called EMS.

Hi Doc. How about right chest pain (especially when sneezing or lifting heavy things) with visible epiglottis since 5 months ago. No sore throat. Female mid 20s. Normal BP and temp. Never smoked. Went to Dr last week gave me antibiotics and turbohaler for shortness of breath. she said it might be bronchitis but Did not do Xray or any test.

Hello dear Doctor, could you please talk about xanthelasmas?
I have one since 2009 they removed it with laser and it back... Now in 4 months in keto I have noticed a signficative reduction of it... It has sense, but have you heard something like this?
    Thanks!!

3 of my older siblings have had heart surgery. I have had blood clots in my leg and lungs twice, both times after surgery, so I am on blood thinners. My doctor doesn't like Keto and doubled my atorvastatin. I follow an 18 hour fast before eating. I eat a light breakfast made with Hemp hearts, chia seeds, and a little flax. I mix it all in almond milk overnight in the refrigerator. I just try to combine my Keto/heart diet with intermittent fasting. I need to add a vegetable to my breakfast. Dinner is always vegetables with chicken, fish, or salad.

I freaked out last night. I kind of knew it was anxiety but i got off my bp meds so just to be sure I checked my bp 3 or 4 times. Each time was about 124/78. I wonder what it would have been if I wasn't freaking out. Bottom line LCHF in any form works big time

Hey Dr Ken your videos are awesome thank you for posting 😊 😀 ☺. I do have a question my father is having open heart surgery. He has 100% 50% and 80% blocked arteries. However he has had no pain what so ever he only had swelling in his legs but not much he is a diabetic is this common? Also what does having dull chest pain mean? Does salt substitute work for someone like my dad? Again thanks for all your videos!

    • @KenDBerryMD
      @KenDBerryMD  3 роки тому +2

Sadly, it is very common. He needs real salt, and to minimize his carbohydrates intake. This will improve his diabetes and slow down the damage to his heart arteries

Had severe midle chest pain last year like an heavy weight, which triggered a panic attack(became hard to breathe) and it migrated the pain/weight feeling to the back and both sides of chest..it lasted for 10hours+, went to hospital and they said i had an anxiety/panic attack.
I got the pain and heavy feeling again 3 days later( and kept hapening for a month+), after a lot of search and trial/error my symptoms by triggering them, i noticed it was related to food and realized i might have acid reflux until a private doctor determined i had it. HiiT, diet changes,IF and huge weight loss helped a lot with it, so i only have chest pain when i eat trigger foods or lay down right after eating, which i avoid.
I really thought i was gonna die when it first happened, was so strong pressure and pain, laying down makes it even worse!
