    These ads are misleading, at 1:16 she acts as if you can just take the capsule straight off the base into the car and makes no mention of the top tether which is an extremely important safety feature

      Hi Jacqueline, we agree the top tether is an essential safety component, but difficult to demonstrate when the car seat is on a table rather than in a car. This video is intended to review the features and benefits of this car seat, it is not an installation or how-to-use in-situ video. Thanks for watching, BV

    Hi there I got this but taking the car seat out other pram is really hard and it’s not easy as you have shown. It takes out only by shaking it and putting pressure on it to take it out.

    We are using a bugaboo turtle air car seat for our new born and we will not recommend it. Since the straps are too short and ones you tie the straps it becomes too tight and uncomfortable for the little one. Bugaboo should have a longer belt starps for the car seats so that it could be easier to adjust.

      Hi Sana, very sorry to hear that you’re not happy with your car seat, I would suggest you contact Bugaboo in your local country, and the retailer you purchased through for assistance as the straps are adjustable. Please note the Bugaboo Turtle featured in this video is the Australian seat and not the Air version.

    Is it normal to have up and down movement when using the rigid isofix to attach?

    • @BabyVillageTV
      @BabyVillageTV  3 роки тому +1

      Hi Rebecca, I would suggest you take your car seat to an authorised restraint fitter for review. There should be little to no movement and you may need some modifications to ensure safe carriage. Best, BV

      I have the same problem. The isofix connector arms move up and down. They do not lock into place.

    Hi there,
    Could you possibly link the maxi cosi adapters? I want to make sure I am purchasing the correct ones. Thank you :)

      Baby Village thank you so much! I appreciate it. Final question, I have the frog model stroller. I’m assuming I would have to purchase the cameleon3 adapters?

    How did you pull that headrest up like that? our insert doesn't allow for the headrest to be pulled up like that.

    • @BabyVillageTV
      @BabyVillageTV  2 роки тому

      Hi 👋🏻 you will need to ensure there is enough slack in the harness to extend the headrest. BV x

    Hi I have a question it may be silly but I have purchased a Bacanni pram and it says it will be compatible with any Nuna Capsule, my question being , is this capsule considered Nuna and bugaboo have just paired with it ? or not considered as they’re “normal Nuna capsule”
    Thankyou

      Hi Jasmine, thanks for watching - yes the Bugaboo Turtle by Nuna, is a Nuna car seat - it is the same format as the Nuna Klik (in Australia). I would suggest contacting Baccani to confirm compatibility with your pram. You will need to get a set of Maxi Cosi Adaptors. Best wishes, BV x

    1:23 in - why do you need maxi cosi adaptors for a bugaboo car seat?

    • @BabyVillageTV
      @BabyVillageTV  2 роки тому

      Hi @Steve Greenwood, the adaptors are made by Bugaboo for comparability with capsules, the Bugaboo Turtle by Nuna shares the same connection point as Maxi Cosi, so share the same adaptors 👍🏻

    Very sturdy in comparison to other strollers that we had. I get a lot of compliments for it. My baby loves being in the bassinet, The ua-cam.com/users/postUgkx4qZutfp1y5CaTUcMTuFPbARE5u-8XLiE stroller comfortable. I like the rain cover and the white net that comes with it. I use the rain cover just to cover the car seat when it rains. If your front wheels don't turn well, make sure you lubricate.

    Absolute rubbish! Do not buy this product unless you drive a tank! So if your vehicle of choice is a Range Rover, BMW X5, Landcruiser, Pajero, etc. or any of those giant SUVs, you'll probably be ok. My daughter has a Tiguan which is a medium sized SUV and when you install this useless system in the back seat using the Isofix, the front seat has to be pushed all the way forward as far as it will go making the front seat completely unusable.
    Plus what is NOT being pointed out here which you will not find on any Bugaboo instructional videos is the ridiculous tether you have to fit in Australia even when using the Isofix. Which means it's NOT an easy thing to get it in and out of the car as you have to slacken the tether then fight to get it out from around the back of the capsule. This video does not show that, and as we discovered, it's actually illegal to drive without a tether in Australia. However, it seems many people who do buy this and use the Isofix, don't fit the tether.
    Check your car size before spending over $1000 on the whole turtle system! Otherwise you may find it is a complete waste of money.

      Hi Jimmy, sorry to hear you’re not happy with your Bugaboo Turtle by Nina. It’s true that any model car seat with rigid ISOFIX requires further depth for installation, however you can always use the seatbelt path installation for an equally safe ride.
      All capsules in Australia (bar one) as well as rear-facing car seats require a top tether that will require loosening to seat your child, a feature not unique to this seat.
      Best wishes for safe journeys, BV x

      I wish I had read this before purchasing!!
      We have medium SUV and he capsule doesn’t fit behind the passenger or driver seat so we have had to instal it in the middle seat.
      Which means we can’t use the safest installation feature; isofix.
      And we have to lift a 5kg Bub and a 4kg capsule across the car straining our back. There is no longevity as we won’t be able to to this as Bub gets heavier.
      We are very disappointed with this expansive purchase.

      I agree the top tether doesn’t have enough slack to get it over the visor. Maybe someone should do a video on the tether? Most videos I’ve watched are USA and show a foot leg instead.
