In college everyone is much better. I had three break away's my first game and was 0-3 cause they were all on my left foot. I wish I had coaches that forced me to kick with my left when I was young but I did not have coaches who knew anything. Grew in in NJ US.

I wonder if US high school kids watch Man CIty or Barcelona and wonder why they can not link two passes let alone 20. They play kick and run. We had a lot more skill 40 years ago in the same areas. It is very sad to be a soccer player in the USA.

Rafa really has control over the tennis ball and has amazing control skills with a football ball. I read somewhere that he was playing locally in Mallorca at a high level and could've easily played professional (his uncle played for Barcelona and the Spanish national team.) Only a few chosen ones can say that. I went to Rafa's town of Manacor with my nephew as he was playing an indoor soccer match against Manacor's public school and let me tell you that those kids can really play. They destroyed my nephew's private school 8-0 and if it weren't because my nephew is a great goalie, they would've scored 4 or 5 more. I don't know what they feed those kids in Manacor but they're super competitive (they are top of the table for the entire island and has been like that for years.) They take sports VERY seriously there.
