Pets can also be infected by the mould, too, although I don't know to what extent, such as if they can die. But I had cats and dogs in my apartment during the Pet Adoption Drive event and a dog was infected. Giving them a bath didn't seem to help so I nuked the mould and fixed it that that way - I wasn't having a dead dog in MY home.
Yeah, poor Chanterelle's last day was not a good one! She kept vomiting mold spores, and she was covered in a layer of mold. I kept her separate from her sister, and she died while her sis was at work. And now she's part of the household again!
This feels like a missed opportunity to introduce Zombies…those were fun/interesting in Sims 3, and I’ve been thinking about sims 3 features that I’d love to see in sims 4 (most of them being from Supernatural and Into the Future)

I've had no luck trying to use fire to remove mold. I can't help wonder if it's due to the Sims having the Naturalist Trait. Every time I've tried, they lit and threw the match and nothing happened.
@@PeteyPlaysIt - I've considered that, but I've seen others do it, and Naturalist makes you fireproof. I'm not 100% certain, but I suspect a connection.
the unique ghost animation is such an amazing touch! i hope they add more little details like this in future to other aspects of the game, maybe more unique animations in general🤧
I gave the Vatores a mold issue at their home; it just seemed to fit them. But they keep the place clean, and Caleb upgraded the robot vacuums with a mold-destroyer, so that helps to keep the mold under control.
See, this is too much. Normal Sims are too much affected by supernatural level stuff these days. I'm going to try and tweak this as a horrific spell, NOT have it just going to any Sims with unsanitary cribs all willy nilly.
@@besassyxo I have the game. Nothing was interpreted incorrectly. I just tweaked it to my game style/pref. The way the Sims die so dramatically with mold dust and shrooms is dumb to me and would be more at home as a spell of some sort. That's all that meant, genius.
I wish there was a cross-pack compatibility with StrangerVille where the hazmat suit protects you from the mold

The mold is really dangerous, my sim almost died. She apparently got infected right before bed and when she woke up she was already incredibly ill.

The level of details in the mold death/ghosts needs to be applied to the entire game. It's so fun!

that's so strange. it could be the naturalist trait, but I also wouldn't be overly surprised if it was a bug, knowing the sims 😅

Mold just stopped appearing for me after a while. Has this happened to anyone else? Never thought I'd be dismayed NOT to have a mold problem!
